I think Rillaboom probably deserves it over something like Charizard because it doesn't have to rely on single use gimmick forms like mega and dynamax to be really powerful. Both of which could only be used for a limited amount of time as they've been removed from future games, and can only be used on one pokemon.
Also, using Charizard forms means you have to consider about opportunity cost about using other selections while Rillaboom does not provide such tricky selections.
Also also rillaboom pairs well with the actual number 1 to form fire and grass of the common fire water grass core. Fake out cycling between the 2, damage, bulk, priority. Matches up well into the other common grass of amoongus (unless it runs sludge bomb and some sp atk). It's hard to imagine a format with rilla where it wouldn't be good.
And wolfe didnt even talk about its other move options. If i recall correctly, player also used knock off and high horsepower sometimes, maybe even other moves im forgetting about. Charizard doesnt have that same flexibility woth its moves

Personally I love Primarina, it's my favourite water type starter and one of my favourite Pokémon of all time
11:59 "you are so valid btw. sweet dreams" how dare you call me out while I'm trying to nap! 🤣
Love watching your videos! It was amazing meeting you at Baltimore as you are a very pleasant person IRL! Hope you keep doing what you do and really enjoy learning from you! 😄
Here i am waking up on a Saturday morning and flipping on the new Wolfey video to fall back asleep to, like i normally do, when my half asleep mind is snapped awake by that fourth wall break
I’m just now realizing it, but Venasaur having the same base speed as Blaziken is criminal
Blaziken's speed and special attack should be swapped
youd be surprised how fast a frog can be compared to a chicken 😂
11:57 *Gets up from bed to type*
I don't appreciate the call out! D:
11:58 wolf knew some of us are using his videos to fall asleep :O
omg I was falling asleep accidentally (long day, you're not boring) when you called me out and I started laughing. I can't go back to sleep now because I'm too focused on the Venosaur info
Wolfie: talking about 2nd best starter pokemon
Incenroar: did you call me?
Wolfie: well yes but actually no
7:00 Flash Fire Chandelure laughing in the corner
Its kinda ironic how he said It after just talking about primarina LOL
But tbf It isnt even difficult to resist, theres a ton of mons who come to mind that resist the stabs
0:01 the upcoming ZA-incenroar
12:01 oh my god its 2 am and i play wolfe's vids to help me sleep cause it's lowkey relaxing to hear him ramble about competitive pokemon even if i dont get what he's talking about 50% of the time
Man I have been watching so much mobile game content (the production value of most RUclipsrs content on those games is C tier at best) I completely forgot how nice videos with S tier editing and a charismatic person who’s fluent in English are
0:41 probably it’s Rillaboom
Or charizard. But you’re probably right
What i thought
Wolfe Glick: "Do people like Primarina?"
Oh ho ho ho ho HE DOESN'T KNOW
The moment u said 11:57 was when i was mid trying to nap lmaooo
11:55 ok i'm in the middle of trying to nap and just tuned back in to see what pokemon was being discussed. Thanks for validating me 🥰
I can't help myself!!
You're voice is just really soothing...
I am here for Wolfey embracing the Incineroar love. Best starter Pokémon ever
If the way Wolfey shows love to a Pokémon is by making it the comedic punching bag throughout the vid, then I agree.
Is Wartortle
Oof, don't check his most recent twitter post. 😂
Wolfy had to stop all the bot comments from saying Incinaroar
Because he was in the thumbnail it technically took incineroar 0 seconds to show up in the video
WolfeyVGC happy to see your channel prospering! Been watching since you had 15k subs. You really came a long way keep up the great content !
Amazing video as always. Small, purely subjective critique: I'd prefer if the silhouettes of the list weren't shown in the beginning. I was in the middle of making friendly bets with my best friend while watching this and the silhouetted list kinda took away the suspense. I know the video switched 2 of them, but still. Really not a big deal I just thought I'd say something to draw attention to it so y'all consider how you wanna do it.
2:55 Incineroar got killed
L bozo
@@OhItsPara yes
He's fine he intimidated the tree and then resisted wood hammer.
@@terranproulx721 true
1:20 I like Primarina
As do I
I like primarina
Primarina’s my favorite starter ☺️
@@eliasarguello9961male primarina is a thing
@@zecomrade82 you’re right! My bad haha
The spanish title of the video is wrong, it says "Who is the second WORST starter pokémon?"
Hopefully the editors will see this comment and fix it so spanish speakers won't get confused.
12:00 i cant even lie, i do watch the videos when im sleeping, but i end up watching them fully 😅
Dang Wolfey im feeling called out for using your videos to fall asleep too 😭 i cant help listening to you talk pokemon is relaxing bro
18:40 Next video maybe?????
Who are the 3 best megas btw? I can only think of 2, Kangaskhan and Mawile
Audino for sure
I actually adore Primarina! Definitely overhated.
i like primarina's cry
It sounds so aesthetically pleasing
Literally called me out at 11:56 while rewatching the video because I put it on as background noise to fall asleep
It's really funny that this was uploaded during Baltimore regionals because 12 different starters made Day 2 haha
its definitely terastallized incineroar
Terra psychic incineroar
For reference, it takes Incineroar 4 seconds to appear in a video about the second best starter Pokémon
Obligatory toracatt joke
Primarina lover here. Thank you for featuring them in this video even if they're not the second best Pokemon 🙏
Wolfe is the reason why I started building competitive teams and learning to play pokemon for realsies honestly
Editors do such a great job with these videos!
I love your style of videos lately. Never disappoints
Imagine if Primarina could learn Boomburst... Now that would be a great way to utilize its hidden ability to its fullest potential.
