Great review. Honestly, the battery life on Samsung and Apple watches is disqualifying. I understand they have more "smart features" but who wants to charge their watch every 1-2 days especially considering sleep tracking.

I'd go with the Venu 3S myself, having voice assistant and bluetooht calls is enoguth smart features for me. And nice video :)

Great video! I enjoyed your comparison as I know nothing about Galaxy watches. It seems like the Galaxy 6 & Venu 3S attract completely separate audiences - those who want essentially an Android smartwatch on their wrist & those who prefer a fitness watch with a long-lasting battery & some smartwatch functionalities. Hi Aby, I have asked you this question on VA5 as well, but then I didn't like the design, so I'm gonna ask here again. Would the bluetooth version of the G.W.6 track fitness stats if I leave my phone at home?
Hello, that depends on the stat for ex. The Galaxy Watch can track your heart rate, steps, calories, etc. without the phone. However, you can not check your blood pressure, ECG, or get sleep data without your phone present. Aversly, you can track and view all stats on the Venu if your phone is left at home.

Good review, thanks. However, you can easily add Google Assistant to the Samsung watch (just download and use), and it is the ONLY way to go because Bixby is close to useless. In fact, Samsung trying to force us to use their inferior apps (compared to Google apps) was the main reason I switched from a Samsung phone to a Pixel phone, and I could not be happier with the change. Also, while the Samsung watch is definitely good for swim tracking, it often gets the heart rate completely wrong while swimming. According to my Samsung watch, I should already have died several times, as I am 63 and it sometimes clocks my HR at 180 + for 40 minutes or more. All while I feel completely relaxed and comfortable in the pool. So, either I am Superman OR the HR monitor does not work in the pool. I think the latter is more likely.

Sorry. But you're wrong on one thing. You can switch the Samsung watch to Google Assistant. At least on the Classic edition. I have it and use Google Assistant everyday.
Hi, thats a different watch with different features. I don't see that option on my Galaxy Watch 6 40mm here, at least not yet in Canada. But, possibly it's an option in the USA and elsewhere, or is available after more updates. Thanks for commenting.
I had the Garmin venu 3 45mm. It’s a verry good watch for health, fitness and sport tracking. But borring and old smart technologie watch. I have the galaxy watch 6 44mm. I have enough health, fitness and sport tracking for my needs and it’s an amazing smart watch. For battery life, i fix this issue, i bought 2 i take one for 24h tracking, put on charge in the morning, then take the other.
That's an interesting "fix" for the poor battery life. One I've never heard before, tbh i don't think it is feasible for most people as these watches are expensive. But it's good to hear that works for you. Thanks for sharing.
