I would have bought the Samsung watch in an instant, if the battery at least would last 3-4 days. As it is now, you will struggle getting 24 hours from it, in a year or two. It’s barely useful in a brand new state.
I love my Venu 3, but it has problems and Garmin doesn't do anything to fix them. The speaker for calls is inaudible, the voice assistant works when it wants to (already existing on the Venu 2 plus) and you don't have to go far from the phone for the Bluetooth to disconnect (already existing on the Venu 2).
I would love to have another galaxy watch, but just simply don't want to charge my watch each day. Had hope samsung would have build in a coprocessor such as oneplus did.
I have a samsung s3 frontier which is like 6 years old. I recently got a venu 3 because uncle sammy decided not to support old smart watches anymore so it couldn't connect to my s24 ultra. I thought i was getting a good, serious watch that all these "adult and serious youtubers" are saying. But lowe and behold, it's slow, the build quality is not great, the amoled is not as good as my old smartwatch was from 6 years ago! Yes you get additional features like a pulse oxymeter and some other health-measurement stuff but those weren't available 8 years ago so it's understandable. The venu 3 though, meh!
I would choose longer battry any day vs the galaxy watch that has the weakest battery of all smartwatches.. samsung is also very slow even bnew &^ the battery sucks.. I bet your 6 yr old galaxy can be use only about 3 to 4 hours only if you are using it daily for 6 yrs..
@@ericbaseY0 I've read that people got water damage on their Samsungs when using them for swimming in pools. Warranty doesn't cover it. My Watch active 2 started acting up as well. 😢 So I'm looking for a new watch for swim training.
You can, it is waterproof and has swimming workouts built in. Plus it has a waterlock feature that locks the screen from changing while the feature is engaged (you can pause workouts with water lock enabled). I have had my Galaxy Watch 4 Classic for almost 2 years. I swim with it, shower with it and have taken it in lakes and the ocean countless times without issue.
@@CountGeeMonayI've read comments on how it died in the pool and that It's only water resistant, not water proof. I swam with my watch active 2 for a while but then it started acting up. I don't dare to use it in the pool anymore.

venu 3 has mediocre build construction!
How many years of update does Garmin provides generally for their watches???

I see no reason to replace my good old Samsing Smartwatch from 2018.
Iron that T-Shirt next time...
He just needs a better quality shirt. Who the fuck irons their shirts?
Thank you for saying what I was thinking.
Who gives a shit he's reviewing smart watches. Neither watch had an ironing tracker so its not really his fault
Too bad you can't swim with the Samsung 😢
why not? i have an old galaxy watch s3 frontier and never removed when diving. never had a problem. is there a issues with the newer ones?
