Love the snore detection feature, could have done with that a few years ago. Thankfully the person who was accusing ME of snoring is now my ex. He actually woke himself up snoring on a few occasions & still accused me of doing it lol 😂

@@WhatGearwhile enabling snore detection on the watch it shows the warning for more battery power consumption...can i enable sleep detection on my watch and snore detection for on phone only and later the data can be synced to health app?
I know I snore because my best friend in middle school told me during a sleepover, but I could also hear a recording of it on my phone when I had it "listening" overnight a couple of times a few years ago. My wife also snores... quite loud usually (but I can sleep through it fine once I'm asleep)...and she absolutely does NOT believe me that she snores! lol Probably because she never did snore before maybe 6 years ago. I haven't played her my recordings of her for proof yet. It's not worth the argument, I just chuckle and move on. I'm saying all of this to ask YOU if you've ever done snore/sleep tracking from your phone to see if your ex was right ;)

I have a Watch 5 and almost all of these still work, I found the custom notification to be most useful. Wanted to upgrade to the Watch 7 but the inability to charge via wireless power share was a deal breaker.
I was thinking Samsung might enable it through an update eventually
@@LuckyOK-ed2mx it doesn't work bc of the new sensor. The loading "part" is now too far from the charger so it won't load. An update cannot fix that.

Wireless power share, as in charging it by laying it on the back of the phone? I've never even thought to try that anyway. lol I have an S22 Ultra and Watch 4 & 4 Classic. Or do you mean wireless charging in general? My nightstand charger and my travel charger have spots for my Samsung watches to charge. The 7 wouldn't be able to utilize that?
@@lynneftw all regular charging is the same with watch 7. Samsung took away the ability to charge the watch from the back of the phone. I didn't use that feature much myself either

I find the knock gesture best for the wallet because that way you don't need your other hand to pay. I have the home button for health since you'll already be using your other hand when you open it
@@CaptainFlips I can't find the wallet app to choose when in the knock knock menu
@@Gt350_ perhaps you're referring to the Samsung Wallet app? I can't speak for it as it isn't available in Belgium. However, I've heard people are more content with tGoogle Wallet anyway. If you have that installed (and enabled) it should just pop up in the menu of apps to launch in the gesture's settings. I can assure you that Google Wallet does appear there for me on my Watch 7. Hope this helps :D

Nice video, but the voice to text option isn't accurate. It does not work if you do not have wifi or any way to connect to the internet. It doesn't make sense why Samsung doesn't have voice to text built in, but it will come up with an error if you don't have a way to connect to the internet.
The music part and the nonstop watch would be my only reason to buy it.

I wish they made the tap two fingers and wrist wake as a function that you can have a few apps that use the tap two fingers to start and stop something like, raise to wake tap two finger to bring up the most recent app and if it's not the one you need to use to flip your wrist and it changes it to the next app that uses the tap two fingers functions
Hey i just upgrade from active watch 2 to watch 7. Missing tab to change watch face colors which is not working in watch 7. Backup of 4yr old watch 2 and 7 are same. Instead of streaming music which consume more battery i would like to download and then transfer the music files to watch internal storage. During 2hr of workout with workout detection and buds On battery drop from 100 to 40.

Can I use Google maps and tracking my bike ride on the same time? After driving my bike the bike ride tracking starts and I can't use Google maps any more.

I've not tried it personally. But I think you might be able to if you start Google maps on your watch first. Then start the sports tracking

Ok so I have a watch 6 Classic and bought a Watch 7.
Even though it’s practically the same size it seems smaller and definitely lighter.
On the 6 Classic I purchased a Messa watch face and for the life of me I can’t figure out how to add it to my 7.
I'm getting a message that it "Requires Android Varies with device," but I've read that it should be. ( haven’t found out what that means)
No matter what I do I t keeps on failing every time I try.
I haven’t seen anywhere that it’s not compatible, but I’ve only been on Android/ Samsung product for a few months and constantly learning.

You mentioned the fall detection but you didn't say it actually works. Previous watched had the same function but it did not work. Under what conditions will it work?

Most likely he is using a 200w charger, with multiple ports that all add up to 200w. Anker is known for high wattage power adapters with multiple ports.

The location spoofing made me laugh
I don't like it because this watch 7 battery draining too fast eventhough you are not connected with Wi-Fi. Second, Samsung Pay is not possible to install though I used samsung pay a lot on my phone when paying. This watch version is a none-sense for me so I returned it back and got my money back. I prefer buying a regular smart watch which has the samsung pay option to use
mine just keeps restarting idk why... just switched from iPhone to zfold and grabbed the watch 7 but very frustrating restarting every 10-20 mins
Check the updates. I some issues at first but the software update sorted them.

If youre using all the fancy gadgets at once it will. I use facer and I find my watch lasts the day 😊
Worst battery life.. getting drain within 15-17 hours.. while turning off wifi ,lte, aod, limit health features, manual mode.. still
EDIT:- AFTER SOFTWARE UPDATE I'M GETTING 2days 4 hours... finally SAMSUNG listened.

All their watches suck in battery life nowadays. The best was the s3 frontier 3 days....battery the new ones not even 8 hours...very bad.
@@Spliffie37 That's... Not true. Samsung already released an update fixing poor battery life on GW7, but even then the battery life was more like a day rather than two.
@@Spliffie37 absolute rubbish on every Samsung phone. The battery life is all anyone talks about on forums. Since the GearS the battery life on every SamGwatch has-been crap. Most others have 48hrs up to 5 days and NONE of my smartwatches haver had more than 22 hours. I use the watch's in exactly the same way, each version same settings, just shameful from Samsung. They have NEVER fixed any of their battery issues on any of their watches, even the latest update which they admitted for the first time only gives it barely past 24 hours.
Such a huge bunch of gimicks. Battery life is terrible unless all these features are turned off. Got this watch about a month ago and returning it.
