*Correction: I made a mistake about the specs! The display for this 40mm version is 1.3" (432 x 432) and the battery capacity is 300 mAh. Thank you @HjVegter for the correction 🙏
I own this watch. It's great. Battery life could be better. I always use my watch to listen to podcasts without my phone on me and I get through the day but 2 days would be nicer.
I had apple watch and gave it away since I dont think it has much anything to it. I just got the watch 7 and so far its so nice with all the widgets and samsung health
Picking a smartwatch was way more complicated than I thought. Considering everything, what smartwatch do you think is the best out there regardless of price?
Mainly depends on price. But for me the watch 6 occasionally has some stuttering/slight freezing issues when doing any slightly hard task or something like navigating workout tracking and listening to music. The watch 7 has a better processor and should be better overall, but end of the day they do the same things.
I have the watch and really like it. The battery is similar to my old Watch 5 Pro so I have no gripes about it. The one thing that bothers me a little is the space around the outer edge. Why is there an open space? I feel like it should go all the way to the outer edge of the face.
On amazon there is opreting system is listed tizen but the opreting system is watch 7 wear os, please reply why there is difference on amazon and samsung website ?
In the market for a new smartwatch too! Contemplating between the Galaxy Watch 7 or the Garmin Forerunner 165 (because the Vivoactive doesn't have elevation stats for cycling). Currently use a Galaxy Watch 4 but the charging is really pretty annoying hahah
Hello, if I use this watch for constant blood pressure monitoring and nothing else, turn off always on display, how long would the battery last on full charge?
Thanks for the video, I am using Galaxy watch 4 Classic from year 2021, Am I the only one who cannot see a major difference between galaxy watch 4 and 7 when it comes to SW?
The changes are with the sensors. Much better sensors which add some more functionality. The processor is upgraded too so the watch feels suoer smooth. I had the watch 4 and now have the watch 7 and to me the improvements are huge.
I have a question can it show heart rate continuously during workout or intermittently ?? Because when I standing it will not showing when I sit then it will show me ?
Hi has anyone reported burning on the skin from the sensor on the back? I had this issue with a 5 series, but don't want to spend if it'll do it again to me
Considering how similar the Watch 6 is to the 7, I would say so if you can a really, really good deal for it. If it's similar price to a discounted Watch 7 though, I would just get the 7.
My biggest gripe for the non-ultra watch 7's are its poor GPS tracking accuracy (for outdoor runs) which severely overestimates distance and pace, and sub-par battery life, it won't last a long run.
@hoyoungwon yeah maybe, but I am having the same GPS inaccuracy from DCRainmaker's review of the GW7. GPS looks like I was running like I was drunk even on ideal conditions (no tall buildings and on straight routes).
I disagree with your statement about the stock watchfaces being "meh". I'd argue that they are the best in the android space. Most stock watchfaces from other brands like oneplus and huawei look like they are stuck in 2018 while most of the non stock watchfaces look way too cartoonish or gaudy.
I prefer Garmin smartwatches. They are accurate enough for health monitoring, they work with any smartphone and they have a very good battery life. I tried the Galaxy Watch 7 40mm and found that the heart rate sensor is so inaccurate that it is not really usable for health monitoring. Similarly, the blood pressure measurement is too imprecise. In the end, Garmin combines the best of both worlds: health tracking and connected features. Samsung excels in the connected watch aspect if the watch is paired with a Samsung smartphone only, but is really not up to date on the health monitoring aspect because of the inaccuracy of its biometric sensors and its too low battery life.

samsung’s new watches are probably the best looking smart watches out right now.
Yep, loving the design (especially the straps)
Personally, I don't like the Galaxy Ultra how it looks, but the 7 is just stunning.
@@HoodScents I like the pixel but it don't have shapphire glass which is big drawback and in india pixel watch 3 don't have lte and it much pricier
Huawei GT 5 looks better and battery life is 1-2 weeks

Great video!! I'm tempted to get one now hehe 😅
👀 👀
Me too, but the battery life sucks
I have the 44 version, except for the battery I have no complaints.
Thanks for the video! Question.. do you need an additional plan for the watch or can it work just bluetoothed to a phone?
They have both options.
Is it better to get 7 compared to Watch 6? Do you have experience with those two?
At similar prices, getting the 7 would be the right choice since they're so similar, yet the 7 gets longer software support
@@hoyoungwon Thank you, I joined your channel 🤝

The Forerunner looks like a nice one!

Nice! Especially for smartwatches, you probably won't see too much of a difference for a 3-year release gap :)

Why is my Galaxy Watch 7 40mm battery always drop? A day always charge twice
Great Video... what watchface is it at 0.55 sec?

hey is it with LTE mode ?
Is galaxy watch 6 worth in 2024

Interesting! Maybe it differs by region/country, but the GPS tracking here in South Korea has been very accurate for my runs.

Would you say upgrading from the watch 6 to the watch 7 is a good idea?
Only if it's a crazy good deal after you trade-in or sell your Watch 6. If not, I don't think it's worth your time.
ofcs not
why samsung not bring back for galaxy watch can using on IOS...
😪
0:55 which watch face is this?
Minimal Black Watch Face by Regarder Watch Faces. You can find it on the Play Store!

Can my 5 series watch band fit the 7 series?
Yes
The only thing I don't like about this watch is that they have removed rotating bezels🥴

I can definitely see where you're coming from and I'm very curious about Garmin watches. Definitely will try one as my next smartwatch.
The sleep tracking its just the worst i ever saw in a smartwatch
The specs you mention are for the 44mm not 40mm right? Battery for the 40mm is only 300 mah an the screen is 1.3"
Ah, my mistake. Yes, you're correct! I've pinned the correction as a comment. Thanks a ton for catching that.
this was filmed on my birthday
