@@sneoea6674 yup. The building system is borderline nonfunctional without S+ mod, it takes hours to tame even mid tier dinos (carnos, raptors, ankys etc) and even with tribemates you're liable to have everything nukedbthe moment you log off because official servers just fucking suck lol

There is a faster way. Once you bolo it and set the trap don't feed it, shoot it with your rifle or use a sword to drop the health. Then wait for it to get up. This causes the food to drop rapidly to heal itself. Wait a few minutes to drop it's food lower and lower, the start your bolo feeding. You can feed it 3 to 4 times per bolo and tame it in 5 minutes. Level 150.

If you hit them while they are in the bola, they will start healing their hp and their food drops by like 20 per second. Just wait a few minutes until its food dropped low enough so you can feed it without waiting. But make sure to let it drop low enough as once you start feeding it its food consumption is going back to normal

We have tamed an Ember Crystal Wyvern from passed out one, no need to kil to get Primal Crystalsl. Just Trap it, Tranq it, and Harvest. We get more higher Levels. Solo here. Very easy.

I'm in the process of taming one just now. I'm glad you mentioned it takes about an hour as dododex shows 8 mins per feed.
Tell me how long it tame for you because I did on on single player standard
@@NOOBLETS It took just under 2 hours for a lvl 150. It was 56 minutes between feeding. 3 pieces of kibble due to 2x server tame speed and the evo event.
So basically a budget tek tappy with an engine on it.

Gonna be attempting to tame one on official apocalypse if i'm sucessful at finding a trop to begin with . Thanks for the tips.
I want to let you know i also use this triangle cage + ceilings on top with Crystal Wyverns to get their crystals. If you steal the crystals, let it wake up and kill you (revive at a sleeping bag) you lose agro and it's still caged so you can start feeding it its own crystals! (only once because it will start flying out of that cage no matter what after first time feeding)

This is probably old info, but do the first bola, shoot it with a gun till its about 1/4 hp. Be careful, headshots will kill it quick. After that, wait til it breaks out, bola it again, and itll nearly instatame. If your dino regen is slow, wait a lil for the 2nd bola.

According to Dododex, the fastest way to tame it would be to feed it prime meat.
You could have a Quetzal with a Fridge or a preserving bin with spark powder and preserving salt. It takes 1 hour instead of the 3 hours it would take with kibble.
That's true,even if prime meat will kill some bonus levels,but it's not that bad

Trope are not worth it my opinion because u need to rely on the saddle for “better” performance, but it drains fuel so fast (I kindve understand why cuz it “would” be overpowering according to wildcard) and it’s bite damage isn’t that good, it’s speed also makes no sense without the saddle since there’s no difference when u sprint with the trope

Just got mines tamed, I’m having a blast going around bombing things
Yellow kibble for level bonus after tame thingy and raw prime meat for faster time but a little bit worst taming bonus
I know it’s a balance thing but it’s kinda weird that it takes stamina to fly with the jets on, even though the jets are doing all the work
I've heard you can Bola it and pinch it a few times. Let it go then Bola it again and feed it the first kibble. You will tame it instantly. Lol.

Every form of taming other than Tranq knockout taming blows massive chunks.
Having to steal eggs is the worse because you get no taming effectiveness and usually can't breed the dinos to get mutations.

New method: chain bola.. walk up behind it and damage it with anything, just a few hundred damage, just dont kill it. Damage must be done while its bola's. Wait for the bola to break, and its food will plummet like hell. Rebola in 15-120 secs, then kibble, perfect tame.
I would like to see a comparison of the different dino types such the x-ankylo vs the aberrant ankylo vs the normal ankylo like spawned at lvl 1 how much damage to they do/take and how much do they harvest per swing

Did they change mutton from being 7x faster than raw meat? Unless they did, then kibble is slower at 5x though it give a better efficiency.
