Realising that I could tame it that way I Killed a bunch of parasaurs turtles and trikes until he was my shoulder sitting friend. Because I love Hawks I ditched the stupid pegomastax I accidentally tamed at some point and took my Hawk. I was about 2 hours into the game and didn’t know the map yet since I wanted to play the first 10 hours blind. I arrived at some sort of beach with a bunch of daeodons. At least I thought they were. I found out that they were actually a bunch of Andys and I snuck towards them because of curiosity. One of them aggroed, all of them aggroed and I was dead. Sad that I lost my chitin armor and my falcon I respawned and there they were. What’s the logical thing to do next? Exactly. Tame a throwaway Pteranodon and look for a wyvern trench. I found the mines of Moria instead but thats just as good because there is a whole new world down there. The throwaway Pteranodon sadly died there. I had called him Yeetosaurus and developed and emotional bond. Anyway, Hawks are amazing.

This video popped up in one of my searches, and I thought I'd give it a shot. I think you've stepped your game up. It's good to see.
Haven’t watch in awhile due to ark burnout but it’s good to be back
Fun Fact: Andrewsarchus saddle makes the rider immune to radiation, making it the perfect early tame to swiftly steal rock drake eggs with
Wow, I didn't know :0
But are they worthy enough to defeat rockdrake
You say early tame but you have to be lvl 74 to get the saddle
@@kronspeedstinger2768
With the sheer amount of alphas and runestones on the map, getting the levels for its saddle wasn’t that hard
This gives me a good To-do list
9:16 my wyvern make alpha dinos look like normal dinos 😂😂
Desmos can turn invisible anywhere as long as you are latched
nice tip boss. nd is d installation up to 443gigga byte of storage?
im currently doing a boss run in fjordur with shadowmanes and so far i have had 0 shadowmane deaths and ive just defeated hati and skoll
I tamed a moschops and killed a Stega and a trike with it, it had 1900 heath, over 200 attack dmg, over 130 movement speed, idk but I was happy with the tame
Moschops are crazy! I mean I think I had a moschops that dealt 600+ I mean insanity
That hawk is gonna make duping come back
Even force allowing cave flight in single player, you are still dismounted from an Argentavis in any cave containing drops.
So they are grapple only caves?
Just returning to the game and I've yet to go into some of the tunnels going straight down simply cause of the knock off.
Do you need to purchase something for the shadowmane to be available?
should you also use cactus broth to avoid agro with the shadowmanes, or is that unnecessary?
As someone who hasn't played since extinction #5 you had me at its platypus and flying squirrel
You can even steal someone’s breedlines by using the Alt attack on their imprinted babies/juveniles and then keep the imprint
Recently borrowed some carbos babies outta someone’s well Hidden vault on Gen2 and it was full of random babies that I now own lol
I hope they fix the fall damage on the andrewsarchus I fall or jump off a 20 ledge and I'm losing health
I really love fjordhawk it’s really the most needed creature in ark
When getting wyvern eggs remember to set ur dino on passive!
Could t you just take an egg and tp out, I don’t play fjordor so Idk how it works but I’m pretty sure you could...
I used 3 daedons to tame a 165 desmodus, worked perfectly 😊
Don’t forget the gacha is easiest to tame when eating tek foundations. Tasty!
My top 5 creatures:
Fjordhawk (MUST HAVE)
Desmodeos (SPEED 1800% +)
Giga (DPS)
Basilo (DEEP SEA/IMMUNE SHOCK)
Stryder (SENSOR/CAMP SHIELD)
Desmodus nerfed
Change back Desmodus to Astrodelphis, bruh
does the inventory thing work on all maps or just rag?
Haven’t watched it yet I’m currently 2 mins in but I know the fjordhawk is going to be number one since because its basically an easy teleport back to base.
Edit: Funny story how I found out about it. I love falcons and birds of prey in real life. So as i realised that there was a Hawk circling my head I was happy. I killed a turtle for no reason and then I heard the sound of something eating it. Thinking it was a Meganeura I turned around to face it. But it was the Fjordhawk.
Hawks are Amazon.
@@usernamenone5109 Oh my god I just realised. Thanks.
@@AspiLeo i thought it was funny no worries😂
In the mountain that has gold on it that's right next to the giga is a wonderful base location
I Will start a new map in these days, what Is Better? Lost Island or fjordur?
if you want a lot of space and ways to develop, then of course the second. But the lost island is also one of the best maps (in my opinion) it is also the biggest map. better choose yourself, and I just wish you a happy survival.
Personally prefer fjordur since there is more to do with more bosses, more tames and the there realms in fjordur
Definitely fjordur much better designed map
Unfortunately fjordur doesn't have DLC engrams
@@Giamky95 they were recently added! Not sure abt console tho
Me and my friend were trying to find a desmodus and I had this op basilisk and I kept killing them when I didn't mean to the first try I was killing something and it flew onto me and got it in cross fire and the other times it was cross fire or one of our animals killed it, it was a sad and fun time in the swamp
I've noticed that the bat won't dive if you have the map out or if you have the glider wings on your chest. Kinda weird but interesting
thats the same for all gliders actually
@@Cjthecheesedj oh lol. Can you tell I only really play the island? 🤣
From best to worst:
1: Fjordhawk
2: Andrewsarchus
3: Desmodus
4: Giga
5: Maewing
6: Rock Drake
7: Shadowmane
8: Magmasaur
9: Gacha
10: Wyverns
I think the tropeo has its place in this video, as it is the fastest flyer ever
Yeah but it's not really like a "need to get asap" dino. It's real fast and fun but if I had to choose I'd get a wyvern
@@RapTapTap69 or a maewing, sure it won't go straight up but if you need to get around quick, that thing is insane
What happens if a player kill you in pvp? Will the hawk be able to bring loot back or will he die too by the enemy?
Feed the gachas 10 stone walls or similiar but always in stacks of 10
And the rock drake hatching they need to be super cold
Number one desmodus I just got wyvern eggs and was already out of their range without sprinting
hi cj
I got a ton of wyverns on top of my castle on watch out duty
Also fun fact: the fjord hawk was the first thing I tamed in fjourdor
You can also use Andrew to get rock Drake eggs
I mean this is just helping me find the Dino’s I’m getting every dino
Damn i forgoted about singuine and was taming fjordhawk on 3 ovises but then another fjordhawk came and eated one of ovises the main fjordhawk had 75% of taming so it would tame him
All this time I never knew I could just tame wyverns rock drakes and magmas
blood stalkers are on this map ? those are my fav
With the hawk do you need to level up weight?
Nope not at all
My hawk have 70 but he could lift me like 3k weight
Not until wildcard fixes it, which will probably be never.
Velonasaur are so underrated with an army of enabled turret mode iz can one shots bosses and my velos arent lvl 69420 Just 150 i even killed a giga with one before it had the chance to kill me its busted
Still wondering if we will get reapers on non paid maps
Lightning wyvern can defeat 150 giga, but only mounted guerrilla tactics by rider
what level lighting wyvern? and why would you want to kill a 150 giga unless you already got a bunch
"you an equip this saddle which will enable you to fire bullets rapidly at whatever you are targeting" its a turret, a turret bro all you gotta say dont gotta make it seem so insane lol
the shadowmane is like 10 times better then andrewasarcus
Just got a rock drake and shadow mane pair
The simple Anky is still worth its weight in gold, for farming shards there ain’t anything that’s much better, until they allow transfers that is and the Stryders will make everything obsolete 🙄 lol
Anky, doedicurous, casteroids, pteranadon.....can't forget the basics. All top tier tames for me.
Still, can't disagree with the ranking too much though. This list seems like it is for the more exotic tames of fjordur.
chatdow mayne , maywestwing , eindreuw circus
Will a may wing be able to give a wyvern baby milk?
Havnt played ark in a while got back into it so playing fjordur but how does teleporting realms work with tames? If i go to the other realm and get say a gacha would i then be able to teleporf them back or are they stuck in that realm
It's a radius so anything tamed in that radius will come with you :)
@@Cjthecheesedj oh okay thanks for help
Spent like two hours taming a 150 fjord hawk then threw it off my shoulder and he just flew off. Never found him again…. Has this happened to anyone else?
yeah its happened to me, try and put a locator on em when you tame em
@@Cjthecheesedj aw wow thanks man! Surprised to get a reply from a content creator! Love your videos man.
