Victor thank you for the video. How did the door handle act for it to need replacement? Just wouldn't open the door sometimes and felt limp at times? The interior handle feels normal. That is what ours is doing sometimes. Already replaced the actuator due to power locks no longer working. Do you have the part numbers? Looking for driver's door 2015 rx350 in black
Hi Mark, there was nothing wrong with the door handle in the video, I only removed and reinstalled it for the purpose of making the actual video. For the specific part number, it is best to contact the dealership with your VIN, there are likely many different part numbers, based on year/colour/trim etc.
@@Viktor_G_Automotive Thank you for the response. i think the actuator may be acting up. The rod moves just fine via the door handle every time. Its as if the actuator is not fully releasing it so it doesn't open sometimes.
I'm having trouble with the T30 bolt that is hidden by the service plug that attached to the smaller handle pce - it will not catch when I'm reinstalling the handle. I've been playing with it for yours and it will not thread into the handle. It doesn't look damaged but it's hard to tell. Any tips on what I can do? I may need to replace that T30 bold and I'm not sure how you go about getting at it or if it can even be purchased. If not, I could find a bolt with the same size / thread but thought you might have a tip or two - thanks
You just need to push on it, since it is entrapped in a plastic ring. There isn’t really any other trick to it.
@@Viktor_G_Automotive - Thanks Vikor - I must have messed up the bolt because it will not thread for me and I've been at it for hours. I may have to remove it and replace the bolt. I'll give it another evening before I remove the door panel again.
Off topic, but theres this sensor below the coolant temp sensor thats on a coolant hose.
Problem is, theres no connector for it. Is there supposed to be one or is this for scanning purposes? Its on an rx350.
I don't recall seeing a sensor like that, but if there is no connector for it, it is probably not used for anything. There are no stand alone sensors for diagnostic purposes.
