Appreciate for sharing how to do this. Mine just broke and I checked on the Lexus recall site and found my vehicle is covered for special service campaign so I hope it will get fixed. In the meantime its time to roll the window down and open from the outside ghetto style. 😅

Is this for not being able to open the door from outside or inside? I'm having issues not being able to open from inside the car. The part number you gave I don't know if that's what I need.

Thia is for the inside. If you have this vehicle, it is possible it may be covered under the recall. The part number is for the recall only. The dealer may or may not sell that part number to you, unfortunately

i cant locate this part using part # 04009-68148 at Lexus or at Toyota Lexus sell it with its small panel which dealership Lexus or Toyota ?

I just checked with parts guy at Lexus and they said their not allowed to sell since it was a campaign part that was much cheaper than the the original part. Where are you located? I might be able to help you get this part number.
