Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this video! You never know which video will give you the idea for what might work! I changed spark plugs and coils on 2014 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. It would start, but then stop running after 5sec. Never thought to look at the fuse diagram/map. There was a blown 20 fuse for the ignition coil. Replaced and runs fine now!
Yesss!!!!! Totally worked 💕 😎🔆 I can't believe how much I've learned how to do to my car because of videos like this. I was about to cry because it was cranking but wouldn't fire. I absolutely can not afford a mechanic grifting me right now. I switched out the fuse and it started right up. Thank you ☺️
My man! Tonight, you saved me with this video. Broke down in the middle of the street with everything working, but would not turn over. While waiting for a tow truck that was gonna be $130 or so, found this video and tried it. Many thanks!!!
Thanks a lot mate. Had the same issue with my 2015 Hyundai i30 this morning. Replaced the fuel sensor fuse and the car started smoothly. Really appreciate your video and clear instructions.
Dude your video saved my whole day I replaced coil packs camshaft position sensor sat stranded car less for 2 weeks watched this video put the spare fuse and and BRAPPPP BRAPPP she fired right up !!!!! Thank the lord for your video!!!!!!!
Thanks Buddy you solved my problem I was checking the fuel pump fuse and not the sensor fuse and it was blown Your the best I so grateful for you posting this!!!!!
thanks a bunch man i worked on my tiburon all freaking day and at the and wouldnt start so just imagin how i felt and right now is 1130pm and i was still checking for a fix and boom find your video and it was all i needed god bless u man u saved my day now i can go to sleep happy
OMG my 2018 Elantra won’t start. It’s late now but I will try this first thing in the morning. Thank you so much for posting this. I thought I was in for an expensive ride right after Christmas during COVID. At least I can sleep tonight. Fingers crossed
Hey how r u? Did your car start after swapping out the sensor? I’m having the same problem right now had to take my gf car to work but when I get home I’m going to try it
@@joshuaosegueda2618 I swapped out my camshaft position sensor like the obd scanner said and it still won’t start my check engine light will not go away no matter what I do. Im going to check the fuses today and see what happens
Thank you so much! Local garage was saying the issues could be $$$$ but luckily I came here first. Car started up beautifully! Usually when we could get it to start it would take 2-3 seconds of turning it over for it to get enough juice but after changing the fuse with the spare it started up immediately. You're a life saver (mine was a 2012 model)
Good Job! I thought I had looked at that just because but after I reviewed you video I went and checked again and behold the fuse was blow..Thanks for posting!
Gabriel, what should be the problem with the tailgate lights (left and right) don't turn on. I check the fuse, bulbs and sockets, all are ok. on a Hyundai Elantra 2005 sedan. Thank you in advance.
Thanks for your Video. However, I have one question. Can one of these faulty fuel injector sensors just gradually fail as opposed to fail at once totally? You see, my issue is that my car will crank and start fine 90% of the time, but then around 10% of the time my car just cranks and cranks but will not start. Later I try it again and it cranks and starts fine. So again, can one these sensors just be weak and and cause intermittent problems or do they usually fail altogether at once?
That's how my car is. 90% of the time my car starts. But when it doesn't, it takes me forever to get it started. I'm home from work today because it won't start.
Had much the same issue with my '09 Hyundai Coupe (Tiburon) but it turned out to be the Crankshaft sensor was dead....exact same symptoms. By the way the 10A fuse you pulled and replaced wasn't for the injection system ....SNSR is Oxygen Sensor, Camshaft Sensor and Idle speed actuator.
Thanks for the video! I sent it to my son while he was stranded on the side of the highway. A passerby jumped his car off so he could get home and complete your instructions!
Thanks man for real I wasn't getting spark so I changed the ignition coil & it didn't start..then I saw your video, you saved my car bc I was about to light it up!! Lol
My car won't restart after refueling. I have to crank the car 6 times and then it will start but I have to keep my foot on gas for 2 mins so it won't stall. Then it's good to go. Only happens when I put gas in the elantra. It weird.
Woke up this morning to find out my car wouldn't start, changed the spark plugs still nothing, just got to work thanks to a friend. When I get off work I will try this and hopefully thats all I need to do is replace the fuse... Will update later
Ok so you are going to be looking for wires that are possible touching each other my downstream o2 sensor was causing me to blow fuses and electric tape around them fixed it because they weren't touching and shorting it out
I have Hyundai Elantra J2 engine couldn't start and spark then the guy who checked said it's crunk sessor,I replaced with new one but still the car doesn't spark , please help me out?
I have an EU Elantra 1.6gls 2003. The car was standing still for 4 months at our company since i was away. When i tried to start it the battery was dead. So i bought a new car battery, same issue it wont start. Did you hear ur fuel pump injecting when u put it into ignition, cuz i dont hear mine. We also tried to push it to start and it also didnt start. My brother suspects fuel pump and he gave me link to this. To bad i didnt try this today whem i went to hook an obd2 scanner but it said there were no errors. Will try this tomorrow. My car is 2km away from my flat.
I have a 2006 Hyundai Elantra and it won't start. To begin with I could jump start it but now when I turn it over all I get is click click click you know the noise I'm talking about. So is it the starter or alternator?
hey mr vortex my car stopped working when the i tried changing the battery of my car when it wouldnt start and the wire of the battery touched the body of the car since then it wont start i have replaced the ECU but it wont start. please help
I'm guessing that my issue isn't the same because my 2011 Elantra when I crank it over it just goes Digga Digga Digga Digga Digga Digga Digga Digga Digga pump the gas really hard and fast a couple times it eventually cranks over. And I know it's fuel injection but for whatever reason when I pump the gas pedal it eventually turns over but then sometimes when it doesn't I stop turning it Forward pull the key back Push It Forward again and it starts right up like as if there was never an issue to begin with
You just got my car to start :D - I know there's an underlying fuel-related issue still but at least I'll be able to take it to the mechanic of my choice when I do :D Thanks!
Mine cranks and no start but if I keep priming the system with the key on and off a few times it will start I think mine is a fuel pump issue draining back .
I have the same problem. Sometimes I try to start the engine, it star to crack up but doesn't start. I stop trying, and in a 5 or 10 minutes it's start. I haven't check that fuse, but I don't think that's the problem in my case. Any suggestions?
Ricardo Ramirez I’ve been dealing with the same problem for 10 years sometimes it cranks and cranks and won’t start. When it finally starts it runs rough. It’s a Manuel and if I park on a hill I can pop the clutch which moves the engine enough then the starter starts the car! I’ve changed crank sensor, fuel pump no luck. I’ve heard changing fuse panel works. My mechanic said very expensive fix.
It’s 97 Elantra... I just learned that under the dash above the clutch pedal there is a fuel pump relay. Which will cause the problem I have. I have the part on order. I let u kno the out come!

Holy shit, I was about to shell out a few hundred dollars and then I did this. You are a lifesaver man.

Does this fix work if the problem is intermittent? That is, the car turns over and won't start sometimes, but other times it does.
“If it doesn’t start it could be your fuel pump sensor” *points to horn relay*
Oh well lol

Thanks for the great video i will try this soon as i get home, this happened to me last night before work
I have the same problem but it's intermittent and the fuse is ok oh and I have traction and ABS light on to
What should i look to the 2019 model of hyundai accent.
Worked like a charm. Thanks so much. 2014 model.

Any updates?
@churningwhales it ended up being the fuel pump filter being clogged up so I replaced that and it started right after
I have fuses on the way and have my fingers crossed that that’s my issue.
You a real life saver!! my dad was boutta whoop me lmao
My girlfriend is about to do the same why didnt I just take my Chevy
How can I tell if it’s a starter, alternator, or this?
Hello thank you for your video
so I changed it and as soon as I try to start , it blows again
Does that mean I have to replace the fuel injection sensor ?
Ok so you are going to be looking for wires that are possible touching each other my downstream o2 sensor was causing me to blow fuses and electric tape around them fixed it because they weren't touching and shorting it out
2015 hyundai elentra automatic starts and sputters then dies on humide cold day 2 deg..
Any hidden fuel filter 90.000 km on it
Get a digital multimeter:
1. DC setting on battery, no start = what reading to you have?
2. Meter on battery, start car = what reading now?
Saved me (2021 march) thanks
I'm having trouble with my 1996 Hyundai Lantra an it won't start but do have a clicking noise. What should I do ?
That's the starter, I had the same issue.
Idk I got it to start but I still got something going on thanks though I’m afraid I might have a bad fuel pump 😂
Did it cause the check engine light to come on ?
I have Hyundai Elantra J2 engine couldn't start and spark then the guy who checked said it's crunk sessor,I replaced with new one but still the car doesn't spark , please help me out?
Thank-you Gabriel you are a Rock Star.

thats the starter relay clicking your battery is getting low it needs to be charged
hey mr vortex my car stopped working when the i tried changing the battery of my car when it wouldnt start and the wire of the battery touched the body of the car since then it wont start i have replaced the ECU but it wont start. please help
Sounds like you blew the main fuse

Ron Riggs Your comment has fixed my car... also a 2011 Hyundai Elantra. You rock! Thank you!
So how did you fixed it ?
You just got my car to start :D - I know there's an underlying fuel-related issue still but at least I'll be able to take it to the mechanic of my choice when I do :D Thanks!
Ron Riggs your comment saved the day!! Fixed my 2011 Elantra and avoided a trip to the mechanic during a pandemic. Thank you!
Mine cranks and no start but if I keep priming the system with the key on and off a few times it will start I think mine is a fuel pump issue draining back .
It could be your crankshaft position sensor
what caused the fuse to blow?
O2 sensor short

You're pointing at a relay calling it the fuel pump sensor
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
Much appreciated
