    1/4 tsp. Morton Sea salt
    2 tsps. McCormick vanilla extract
    2 cups unbleached all purpose flour
    1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
    2 oz. Pecans (cookie pieces)
    2 cups powdered sugar for tossing (not sifted)
    Kitchen gadgets used:
    Large bowl
    Spatula
    Mixer
    Sifter
    Cooling rack
    Parchment paper
    11x17 baking sheet
    Measuring cups
    These cookies go by many names including, Mexican wedding cookies, Russian tea cakes, polvorones, and snowball cookies.
