Claire Higgins apparently not since they’ve already had to tell her not to meet with strangers and she did it anyways..... don’t be so sensitive. I think it’s better for her to feel embarrassed or whatever than to get kidnapped or killed.

Natalie Loves God I don’t see anywhere where she said how parents are supposed to bffs. And it’s disgusting because they invaded her privacy and essentially tricked her. I would’ve lost all respect for them if I was her. Like yes, what she did wasn’t right, but there are other ways the parents could’ve done this that wasn’t invading her privacy.

Oreo The Food Motivated Cat she’s not being sensitive?? She was stating her opinion but nice try lol. But the thing is that now they’ve put out the knowledge that she’s easily tricked and so now every predator can go for her. And I’m pretty sure people will start bullying her which can have major consequences. This wasn’t protection, this was an attack on her privacy

Id rather be strict & educate my children, and be able to watch them grow old and happy with out being raped and murdered! Don’t do stupid shit & there’s no humiliation! She could have made smart choices and been praised instead 🤷🏼‍♀️

    • @shannonj4415

Jeff Wick Oh I agree about the bullying 100%. That’s why my almost 14 & 15 year old still don’t have social media and won’t anytime soon. My 11 year old twins are so far away. Parents let their children have grown convos & make grown decisions online not knowing who’s on the other end. When the older 2 babysit they know not to tell their friends their home alone. The father in the video has a valid concern about a predator knowing his small kids are alone w a defenseless teen girl. No I don’t agree with humiliation, but how many parents started checking what they’re children do online due to this video? You should watch the UK 60 mins video of the vigilante pedophile catcher they just put on here 3 days ago. You might feel a little better that her parents are trying to teach her a lesson about the dangers of online

They did. She did something like this before. Honestly, if this traumatized her, it's better than living with the trauma that comes after rape 🤷‍♀️

Those are the worst parents of all time I mean why would they catfish their kid that’s just rude and then they expect her not to cry they expect her to learn the lesson she’s not gonna learn that way she’s just going to feel depressed for the rest of her life

Its not nice to catfish someone you love the most because then you lose them and they don't talk to you

Hopefully she presses charges for this humiliating attempt to teach her a lesson. She's 100% going to resent them for this and the way they talk to her and who knows what else. This is exactly how you shouldn't teach your kids. You think she got a lesson in obduction but really she got a lesson in betrayal.

To be fair, this is a lot of tools compared to when the dad was a teenager. We often forget that our parents grew up under different standards than we have now. (I still feel the parents went way too far by luring their daughter like this though, even though she shouldn't be meeting up with Internet stranger.)

Yall heard the mom say, "You promised you wouldnt do this again" . . .i think the daughter being humiliated is the last thing to be worried about. The daughter is constantly making herself an easy target.

instead of this elaborate traumatizing scheme, just take away the technology and educate your kid
