The trouble is that when you tell your kids not to do something that means they immediately want to do it when they start looking for ways to rebel. And showing them what doing the bad thing can get you doesn't always work either. But it is a step in the right direction, as long as you're honest about the possible consequences.

My parents taught me about this, I actually saw this exact video when I was little, my dad was showing it to me. I’m a minor, I’m actually older than these girls, and they think it’s fine to meet up with a complete stranger? Like nothing will go wrong? If I ever get weird text messages saying that they are a young boy, 16 or 15 whatever age they might say, I will just delete them. I don’t trust those messages. Praying for these girls that they understand how dangerous this is and that they have the common sense to not listen to a stranger.

Should've done the last experiment to all of them...Make them feel the fear! That will make them know the seriousness of it. Might traumatize them a bit, but it's better to be traumatized and learn than to actually get kidnapped and have all sorts of things done to them, putting sadness in the good parents' hearts.

I think back to myself as a teen, and how this situation would really mess with my self-esteem if I got emotionally invested after 4 days, as a lot of teen typically do, to a person who isn't who they say they are. Having that realization that it was all choreographed by an actual stranger working with you parents, who broadcasts it to the entire world has got to hit pretty hard.
That said, I'm willing to bet this experience helped these kids be far more cautious of the world around them, because sadly we do live in a world where sex trafficking happens hundreds if not thousands of time a day, and it doesn't matter where you live, it is currently happening in your city.

When a parental figure yells at a young child, subconsciously the child feels betrayed by the only person that they trust. And doing it a lot will result in mental disorders, most likely depression.
