Don't worry, it's ok, Google translate for the win. ☺️ While I know to read cirilic, it's only Serbian I can read, even though I am from Croatia and Croatian.

Hi Igor. Thank you for the video, I think it might be helpful for those who are starting with Houdini.
In my message for the previous video, the primary key was about how streamlined the tools is, not the absence of those in Houdini (though some are missing out of the box, as you mentioned yourlsef). In the end, it boils down to how quickly you can do stuff in a certain DCC, and how much customization it allows to speed up your workflows so you can enjoy it more. In my opinion, Houdini is a bit behind some other DCCs in those aspects, but I don't doubt that it is very comparable with others (e.g. Maya, which I had some experience with). But instead of further breaking down my arguments from the previous message, I know what I would enjoy watching and what could potentially convince me of "power" of non-procedural ways of Houdini :)
A long time ago I watched this video by Tor Frick doodling 3d guns and robots in MODO and I think it demonstrates well how streamlined the modeling process can be in this DCC. If I see something like that done in Houdini in similar timeframe that would be the best argument possible I think. E.g. ruclips.net/video/cX4kcDNmU18/видео.html making a robot doodle in about 2 hours without a concept reference - that would be something I'd really enjoy watching if made in Houdini. Or a making a gun like this would be even better demostration: ruclips.net/video/NL-IjQU0TXU/видео.html to mitigate the absence of symetrical selection in Houdini out of the box. *(He uses some pre-made greebles, but that part can be skipped ofc).*
Regardless if you would find time in making something similar or not in futrure, I'm still encouraging you making other videos for Houdini. Good job.

@@andreik8885 Ok, I now see what you mean. On the positive note, we are not far from this kind of workflow. I wrote RFE for ability to draw custom shapes like he is able to do. Everything else, is pretty much doable. :) Only thing I am "envious" about is SDS isoline preview. :D But, with the new SESI viewport, we just might be able to do that to like in all other DCC's. For now SDS preview is limited in visual sense.

Hi, yes I've the chance to learn Houdini with Hipflask. This guy is incredible and extremely good at teaching. Even if the first modules are boring because you enter in the very basis of Houdini, it's becoming along the way, more and more interesting. Yes it's a real investment in money but in time too (I'm getting old now and my mind is getting slow, too). Hope you'll be able to afford it soon. Be persistent, your videos are very useful and thanks to explain people you can model in Houdini... I love it ! And I'm not missing very much the symmetric editing, even if you can do it a little bit in the Edit Node. I've just assigned a shortcut to the Labs Symmetrize, I model one side of the object et from time to time I symmetrize it and for me it works fine, even for organic modeling. But I'm just an hobbyist without particular goals than to have fun. Good luck, hope you'll can reach your goals soon.

Hey Christian, thank you for the kind words. I really appreciate it.
Labs Symmetrize is great in some cases. Only thing missing is ability to work on certain groups. But for that we have Mirror SOP. I wish that Edit SOP mirror works a bit better, but if nothing else in some cases it can be handy.
For now I am bit like you, more of a hobbyist even though I do have an end goal. But who know where all of this leads, if anywhere. We live in tough times and around me there is no 3D jobs at all. On the other hand, at least I have time to fully commit learning Houdini. Once again, thank you and keep learning as that's one thing that keep us sharp.

I am not sure how many people would be interested as it would take few hours and unfortunately majority of people are more into 10min videos. What I might do is to record how to do certain pieces, like tires etc.
