Matt, I have 2 Makers, I recently downloaded SS business edition just to have offset and rhinestone easily to design and upload to Design Space! Thank you for NOW actually getting a Cricut machine and showing me / is how easily it can be!
do you like the software ? I have spent all day trying to get design space to function at a decent level and i ready to throw this maker out the window .I hate it so much right now .I thought about getting silhouette business edition but worry ill still have to use design space to cut .i had no trouble untill 8 weeks ago now its nothing but trouble with it .i logged intoay and all my fonts were lost .
christina powers I personally love my makers, nothing cuts as flawless as them, I do not use the offline program of design space, I still use the browser version - and I clear my internet cache and cookie files once a week and I literally have no issues ever! Sometimes I have to download a Cricut update but that’s it 🤷🏻♀️ Now design space isn’t the best design program, so I purchased SS business edition, I do all my offsets and conical warp etc from there and also any of my script fonts because of the auto kerning, you don’t have to ungroup and make the letters come closer SS automatically does that for you - so I save to my hard drive as an svg and it uploads flawlessly into design space - I hope this I do helps!!

Hi Matt! Very cool! I’ve been cutting my rhinestone templates on my Cricut machines for years. It was the inspiration for my channel, and I figured it out based on things I learned mostly from TRW. I reference you guys a lot in those videos so I’m glad to see y’all have come to the Cricut side. I have not been cutting mine without the mat, so that’s new to me. Thanks for all you do! Thanks Matt for including us Cricut users. I haven't done it with a rhinestone file yet, but I have taken other files and opened them in Inkscape (free). Then I select and combine parts to make layers so that everything that is needed is together. I also weld parts of each layer so that it is considered one cut. Then I save the new svg and upload that to design space. I'm still learning how to do more, but that is my start.

I have one suggestion, You should buy a roll of Vinyl at one of the Hobby stores, Show the price, roll it out and roll out the same size of vinyl from your business and show your price or you could show a length of vinyl at your price and show the difference. This is pretty amazing Matt, thank you so much!!! My question is, once I have the svg downloaded in Cricut design space can I size up or down the image and if so, how do I know what size of rhinestones to use based on how I size it? And this question goes to every templates I purchased from your website. Thank you.
With the template designs on our website make sure you download the Crafter File and upload it into DS. This file already has the correct stone size holes (ss10=.135). However, if this is not the case, there is a RUclips video on our channel on how to check /change your stone size. If you have any other questions, let us know, -TRW Tanyu
@@TheRhinestoneWorld Thank you. I actually tried this for the first time just now and I wasn't as successful. I have to punch out the holes out and the holes are not exactly the same size. I made sure that my blade was sharpened before I started. I used bonded fabric on my settings. What did I do wrong?
Just received my rhinestone supplies, and tried to cut the Magic Flock on my Cricut. It did a fantastic job! Only had a few "straggler" circles to take out. Will try and assemble the decal after I pick up my chalkboard today! One quick question . . . what do you put the Magic Flock templates on to store them before using?
You can honestly stick them to anything smooth that you would like to use. Occasionally, we will use the back of acrylic rhinestone tape to act as a carrier sheet for the Magic Flock template. :) -TRW Bri

Thank you for showing this! I'm curious how to make a template that can be uploaded and work in design space. I have the Explorer Air2 and The Maker, I like them both very much, but the software between cricut and silhouette is like comparing apples to oranges, I'd love to get a Silhouette and the business edition, but my husband wouldn't move it so much. you can use the Silhouette software without having a Silhouette cutter. ;) You can upload the svgs you create there (upgraded software of I think it's Business or Designer editions to create rhinestone designs).
ugh, when it opened in cricut it was too big, what size should I resize to?Thanks Pilar, read through more comments and found the size 3.677 x 7.619 and I had to use a mat, but I was able to cut it.
Matt is having the dimensions posted to any Cricut rhinestone svg designs on the website, so it'll be super easy for us to resize. I know Design Space often likes to skew things and bring them in HUGE (no clue WHY it does this, though)
maria talavera, Basically all of our Designs have an SVG Version already on the Website. We will be making some of the Rhinestone ones easier to instill though.

When I downloaded some of the other free rhinestone SVG's from your site and tried opening it with cricut DS it bogged down and won't open, or was messed up.
Matt I couldn’t cut rhinestones templates here in the UK u til bought your magic flock and now my scan n cut machines run them out constantly. Shout out if you want anything recorded of the scan n cut to allow you to voice over, save you buying a machine
We unfortunately haven't figured out a way to import rhinestone designs into Cricut without them blowing up. The individual circles are too much for Cricut to handle :( -TRW Bri
Selina Larson - I've had a Bling Anything decal on my car for almost 2 years in Colorado. Lots of sunshine here but also a boatload of snow and we always get at least a 1-2 stint of below zero weather. Holds up AWESOME! I pressed glitter htv to mine, so the htv has faded in the sun. Other than that, it's still in perfect condition.
Hi Matt, Thank you for the tutorial and free cut file! Is there any chance you can convert some of your other templates to Cricut cut files in the future? I just purchased the starter kit for the rhinestones with flocking material and I'm SO disappointed to learn after purchase that nothing is really compatible for Cricut users. I even tried Inkscape as a work around and that software still freezes on me. I was able to make this baseball but it took me 3 tries to get the template to cut correctly. The holes are so close they either rip or cut over one another and I still had to place many stones in the template by hand.
Matt Download it perfectly, but svg comes into design space at a width of 204.9 inches by 98.9 in. high. Can you give me the actual correct measurements width an height For ss 10 stones? I need to change measurement

Danielle Trevino - yes. However, on shirts, you'll want your heat up to 330 degrees F and press with firm pressure for 15 seconds. Then peel off the acryic heat resistant tape. If it's a thinner shirt (lots of women's shirts are thinner fabric), open the shirt up after pressing as that glue from the stones will go through to the back of the shirt and stick it together. (ask me how I found out LOL)

Hello Matt. Really enjoyed this video because I have a Cricut Maker & Explorer. However, I am nervous, excited at the same time because I just recently purchased the Design Wizard 5.0/CorelDRAW 2018. It's a little intimidating to use. Can you direct me to a video/videos that will specifically help me to Design with the software then transfer in SVG file to Cricut Design Space. For letters, I like to use a rhinestone font. But for a car decal (if you want to personalize this type of decal), you'd want to make the decal vinyl portion and apply that to the window, first. I design with the rhinestone design on my screen so I know the curve or spacing to make the decal portion. Then apply the rhinestone decal centered as you like it (between words, under words, etc)
Should I be getting the Korean Low-lead SS10 or The Basic SS10? None of your links are working. I had to scroll through the comments to find the template. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial.

Hi there, Thank you for your inquiry! In order to apply rhinestones to a tee-shirt, you'll need hot-fix rhinestones, Magic Flock to create your template, Acrylic Hot-Fix Transfer Tape to create your transfer, and a heat press to adhere the stones to your shirt. - TRW Haley

For visuals (I'm a very visual person myself), we have a ton of in depth videos on this. But short answer, for garments: The blue is Magic Flock that the template is created from. Brush in the stones, lay on them our Hotfix transfer tape (it's heat tolerant and is reusable just like the flock is, so take care of it once finished), press all over with your hands and lift slowly to remove the stones from the template. Go right to the garment with it and line it up, press. Give it a minute to cool a bit, then gently remove the Hotfix tape. -TRW Crystal

I have your stones and someone made a template for me what would be the reason the ss10 stones won’t get in the template as easy as you all make it look. What size should the circles be for the stones I just had to hand place so many stones drove me crazy

We do not have distributors outside of the States. Unfortunately, shipping costs are set by the carrier and some countries also charge their citizens import duties. Amy Ward- Yes! And it is awesome! You can design in TRW’s software, save as an SVG or PNG and then upload to design space and cut on the Cricut.

This is pretty amazing Matt, thank you so much!!! My question is, once I have the svg downloaded in Cricut design space can I size up or down the image and if so, how do I know what size of rhinestones to use based on how I size it? And this question goes to every templates I purchased from your website. Thank you.
With the template designs on our website make sure you download the Crafter File and upload it into DS. This file already has the correct stone size holes (ss10=.135). However, if this is not the case, there is a RUclips video on our channel on how to check /change your stone size. If you have any other questions, let us know, -TRW Tanyu
@@TheRhinestoneWorld Thank you. I actually tried this for the first time just now and I wasn't as successful. I have to punch out the holes out and the holes are not exactly the same size. I made sure that my blade was sharpened before I started. I used bonded fabric on my settings. What did I do wrong?
Just received my rhinestone supplies, and tried to cut the Magic Flock on my Cricut. It did a fantastic job! Only had a few "straggler" circles to take out. Will try and assemble the decal after I pick up my chalkboard today! One quick question . . . what do you put the Magic Flock templates on to store them before using?
You can honestly stick them to anything smooth that you would like to use. Occasionally, we will use the back of acrylic rhinestone tape to act as a carrier sheet for the Magic Flock template. :)

I just posted a comment I make them on my maker all the time. It can be done haven't tried it without a mat though still under warranty.

Thank you for showing this! I'm curious how to make a template that can be uploaded and work in design space. I have the Explorer Air2 and The Maker, I like them both very much, but the software between cricut and silhouette is like comparing apples to oranges, I'd love to get a Silhouette and the business edition, but my husband wouldn't move it so much. Again thank you for the tutorial Matt.
you can use the Silhouette software without having a Silhouette cutter. ;) You can upload the svgs you create there (upgraded software of I think it's Business or Designer editions to create rhinestone designs).

ugh, when it opened in cricut it was too big, what size should I resize to?Thanks Pilar, read through more comments and found the size 3.677 x 7.619 and I had to use a mat, but I was able to cut it.
Matt is having the dimensions posted to any Cricut rhinestone svg designs on the website, so it'll be super easy for us to resize. I know Design Space often likes to skew things and bring them in HUGE (no clue WHY it does this, though)

maria talavera, Basically all of our Designs have an SVG Version already on the Website. We will be making some of the Rhinestone ones easier to instill though.

When I downloaded some of the other free rhinestone SVG's from your site and tried opening it with cricut DS it bogged down and won't open, or was messed up.
Matt I couldn’t cut rhinestones templates here in the UK u til bought your magic flock and now my scan n cut machines run them out constantly. Shout out if you want anything recorded of the scan n cut to allow you to voice over, save you buying a machine

Sometimes the mat is too small for the vinyl, or users just lack a mat. Cutting without one works just as well.

We unfortunately haven't figured out a way to import rhinestone designs into Cricut without them blowing up. The individual circles are too much for Cricut to handle :(

This is amazing! How well does the bling anything hold up in the cold? I would love to try it but I worry that it wouldn't survive a Wisconsin winter.
Selina Larson - I've had a Bling Anything decal on my car for almost 2 years in Colorado. Lots of sunshine here but also a boatload of snow and we always get at least a 1-2 stint of below zero weather. Holds up AWESOME! I pressed glitter htv to mine, so the htv has faded in the sun. Other than that, it's still in perfect condition.

Hi Matt, Thank you for the tutorial and free cut file! Is there any chance you can convert some of your other templates to Cricut cut files in the future? I just purchased the starter kit for the rhinestones with flocking material and I'm SO disappointed to learn after purchase that nothing is really compatible for Cricut users. I even tried Inkscape as a work around and that software still freezes on me. I was able to make this baseball but it took me 3 tries to get the template to cut correctly. The holes are so close they either rip or cut over one another and I still had to place many stones in the template by hand.

Are the same steps used to apply to a shirt?
Danielle Trevino - yes. However, on shirts, you'll want your heat up to 330 degrees F and press with firm pressure for 15 seconds. Then peel off the acryic heat resistant tape. If it's a thinner shirt (lots of women's shirts are thinner fabric), open the shirt up after pressing as that glue from the stones will go through to the back of the shirt and stick it together. (ask me how I found out LOL)

Hello Matt. Really enjoyed this video because I have a Cricut Maker & Explorer. However, I am nervous, excited at the same time because I just recently purchased the Design Wizard 5.0/CorelDRAW 2018. It's a little intimidating to use. Can you direct me to a video/videos that will specifically help me to Design with the software then transfer in SVG file to Cricut Design Space. For letters, I like to use a rhinestone font. But for a car decal (if you want to personalize this type of decal), you'd want to make the decal vinyl portion and apply that to the window, first. I design with the rhinestone design on my screen so I know the curve or spacing to make the decal portion. Then apply the rhinestone decal centered as you like it (between words, under words, etc)

James Ross, Yes! Exact same other than pressing to the bling anything. You would just press the transfer to the shirt.

Thank you for your inquiry! In order to apply rhinestones to a tee-shirt, you'll need hot-fix rhinestones, Magic Flock to create your template, Acrylic Hot-Fix Transfer Tape to create your transfer, and a heat press to adhere the stones to your shirt.

What paper do use to make the stencil and then tranfer to clothes?
For visuals (I'm a very visual person myself), we have a ton of in depth videos on this. But short answer, for garments: The blue is Magic Flock that the template is created from. Brush in the stones, lay on them our Hotfix transfer tape (it's heat tolerant and is reusable just like the flock is, so take care of it once finished), press all over with your hands and lift slowly to remove the stones from the template. Go right to the garment with it and line it up, press. Give it a minute to cool a bit, then gently remove the Hotfix tape. -TRW Crystal

I have your stones and someone made a template for me what would be the reason the ss10 stones won’t get in the template as easy as you all make it look. What size should the circles be for the stones I just had to hand place so many stones drove me crazy
For ss10 you should be set at 0.135" for the best results. -TRW Crystal
what setting did you use?
on an Explore Air 2, you can use the Bonded Fabric setting. Do a test cut, though--if your blade is getting old you may need to do a double cut.
Dupes Custom Designs, I used our TRW Roland blade on my cut with the setting at Fabric and it cut perfect for me. Make sure to do a test cut though.
