I have been doing rhinestones for almost 13 years, once pressed turn the shirt inside out and give it another press for maybe 6-7 seconds, just gives you a better pressing ensuring the adhesive is melted enough. I have shirts that I did 13 years ago that still look great, wash and dry as normal
@@geneldh you need to determine the size before designing it, you can not resize once done as the stone sizes will change, there is software you can use to do it but it is finicky and not always a great result
I try to design the finished design to be around 10 inches wide usually, on a really large shirt like a 3xl and bigger i might go bigger depending on the design
I really think this is the next big thing with Cricut. I expect them to come out with their own line of rhinestone material and wouldn’t surprise me if they came out with rhinestones too! Thank you for jumping in and showing us how to do this! I’m a little less intimidated now! Love you and your videos!! ❤
Yep! You’re right about them attempting to keep up. Wondering how the Juliet compares. I started watching a video on it but it got too long and I had to jump off.
Look at you teaching how to use a Rhinestone Template and you just learned last week. Way to go Delonda. You inspire me to go live. I love you videos. Congratulations
You are such a good teacher. I am a professional graphic designer and crafter, and I could never explain all these detailed steps to an audience. That's a real talent and requires lots of patience. Thank you!
Hello Delonda, you have inspired me! I was looking for a new avenue in crafting with my Cricut. I watched your "Blessed" video and immediately was hooked. Alot of it had to do with your wonderful and bubbly personality. I did purchase a couple ready-made templates but wasn't completely satisfied. So, instead of purchasing anymore already made templates I decided to try and create my own. I like to create and this certainly gave me avenue to do to. I have been able to in just a couple weeks create several templates. Even made shirts for my grandson's school staff with their name and logo. I am having so much fun with this new adventure. Thank you for your inspiration.
I saw a video on RUclips, where they put the flock on the cutting mat without the backing on it,and all her holes came out clean, the stick to the mat ,then they scraped them off with there scrapper, I haven't tried it yet but it worked for her
Hi Delonda! Yay! I'm just deciding to get into rhinestones after watching Eve, Patrice, Demps, Making it With Marilyn and so many others for over a year now. So excited for this addition to my crafting business. Have fun!
You are so talented in describing how to be successful in blinging out clothing! As a newbie to the bling world, I feel super encouraged to try on my own and be successful, Thank you!!
I have looked at alot of videos yours was the most beginning friendly I cut my first template January 27, 2024 had my cricut maker and air 2 and have not used them very much
Delonda, I adore you! I nearly lost my mind when I saw "bling" (rhinestone) videos popping up in my feeds. I thought, "what is this!? you mean I CAN DO this?" LOL! Then I was so happy to see you had made this video because I really get it when you show how you did things. Anyway, thank you so much, I am so excited to try this because, really, who doesn't love a little bling? 🤣 Thank you so much❣

Good Morning, what I learned from TRW is to remove the backing from the flock and place the flock sticky side down directly onto the cutting mat, with that method all holes generally stick to the mat, since I've started doing this, I never have circles left in the flock
Delonda, you are so awesome! Thank you. Your honesty & enthusiasm is so encouraging & inspiring. I'm learning so much from your content. Also, the way you celebrate your creation, I LUV IT! I've had stones since the first buy-in, I now don't feel as intimidated to give it a try. Especially, now that I see I can use my maker. I definitely wasn't interested in purchasing another machine. THANKS🥰🥰🥰🥰
Lol. I love it! you did it.👏🏾. Method that works for me for the tape is the hinge method. Start by placing a piece of the hotfix tape right at the top of the template material on the table, and then just lay it down on top of it.
You are so welcome and just finished creating mines and I have it on the tape but i gonna press it tomorrow. Thank you all you, Patrice, and Eve. I’m officially in the bling group. 😊
GREAT TUTORIAL as always!!! Cleaning up dots off mat is lot easier to me than picking off the dots off the back of the flock. So try removing carrier sheet and see how easy it is for the dots to come out flock!!! I use a cut pressure 350 with fine point blade, 1 cut with flock off the back and cuts perfectly every time. The dots come up easily with scraper tool scraping them off the mat.

Hey Delonda I see you doing the darn thing let’s get to bling bling together. I was there that earlier morning and I did purchase all those files from Patrice. Also, you are now a pro and I love watching you because I’m always learning something new with you. Thank you so much for sharing. 🥰. Also, I had use the magic sticky flock but I do have the but is really wasn’t that bad.
I've never seen this process before, and I am wondering why you wouldn't mirror your image and put the flock stencil directly on the mask and apply the rhinestones. You could eliminate the chopping mat and "taco" step (LOL), which seems to be the trickiest part of the process. You would need to have your flock with the stencil larger than your mask so the extra rhinestones don't stick, and you can still collect them. Regardless, your demo was excellent. I love that you demonstrate and explain every step.
Hi Delonda, Love your turtorial you are really good at this; we have the same color maker, how did you get your name stickers like that, do you have a tutorial on how to do the word stickers

I absolutely love your videos. They are very informative, full of useful information, you don’t mind sharing and telling us how you do things and you take your time and don’t go fast. That is very much appreciated. Thank you. I learn so much from your videos. I’ve had a Cricut since it first came out and I’m learning something new everyday. Thank you! ❤
Awe, thank you very much. I appreciate you taking the time to leave this feedback 💙
Nice job!!!! I bought rhinestones over a year ago and haven't used! Will do so now!! BTW, I used holographic vinyl to create a faux rhinestone design!
Oh wow!
Do you mean you used the holographic vinyl instead of flock? If so, did it work?
@geneldh I think she was saying she used the holographic vinyl to create a faux rhinestone look.
Yes, @@geneldh
You did a great job explaining how to do it all ! Wow what a progress but it sure is beautiful !
Thank you so much!
I love watching your videos. Thanks for all the great information!
You took some of my fear away. I have been wanting to try but was afraid. Thank you.
You can do it ❤️

You can do it!

You are so welcome!
Thank you very much! I really appreciate that.
Thank you ❤️
Try it the the way you suggested and let me know how it works. I'm a visual learner and I can't picture it.
