Great video! A few tips...1st, ALWAYS remove backing from flocking material before cutting to ensure a cleaner cut. Also, make hole size a little bigger to ensure that stones will stay in the hole. For instance, SS10 should be around .135 instead of .127. Finally pour more rhinestones than needed because that crowding will help rhinestones fall into place. 🥰
Your the best! My mum just saw a christmas shirt with them in store for $80. We walked away because it was too much for a shirt. Now i can make it for her! Thank you! ❤
I watch both the Baby Booty and TRW. Both do have fantastic resources and info. Angie, thank you for showing Rhinestones/Crystals. I love them and glad they are making a comeback lately. Thank you! Happy Crafting!🤗
Hi I set up my flock at a pressure of 340 and also use the "more pressure" cutting instead of "default". I got this setting from the Baby's Booty and I get perfect results, also it can vary depending on the condition of the blade, mine is pretty new.
I will be watching more of your videos, I do have a template from Etsy. Might make it today, depending on finding the right size Rhinestones. Thank you
There is a hack for this. 1: type the name no matter the Rhinestone ttf. 2: click - attach 3: highlight/click the word 4: click - contour - HIDE ALL 1 dot will show. 5: do not move the circle, only resize it where it is to the size you want 6: click contour - SHOW ALL.... 7: it has resized everything. This hack is from - my file addiction. It's a little old but still works. Hope this helps.
when you download your design, highlight it and go to contour in the bottom right and hide all. one circle will remain on your mat, change the one circle to the size you want and go back to contour and show all, it will automatically change all the circles. Then weld so they stay together.
Angie, I watch the baby booty video and on her video she remove the white backing off of the flock before she put it on her Mat and I noticed you put the whole thing on your mat and she said that she wish someone would’ve told her that before she started but now she does it, and it really did make a difference. Take the white backing off the flock before you put it on the could met.
That would work! You would have to scrape all of those circles off of the mat which was also a pain? Not sure how to make it as pain free as possible! HA!
I'm going to be rhinestoning a shirt, but I want to do a silhouette of a dog. My idea was to completely cover the silhouette in rhinestones, with no gaps. Would it be best to make the design with one size like you showed here and then go back in once I have applied it and add smaller rhinestones by hand in the gaps?
You may try a program that will make a layout for you and see how that lays then out first. Getting as many on as you can this way will make it easier than doing them by hand!
Excellent tutorial Angie!! Thank you very much. I'm very intimidated by rhinestones but you've helped with that. I'm going to jump in and try this after the holidays when my mind is clear. 🤗😍🤩💖
Angie that you so much for this video. I have watched many videos and you explained it with where I can really understand now I have to go practice. Have a blessed day.
i love this i also have used craft card the thicker one to make the stencil and i too love the brush and i find that if you dump way more stones than you need onto the stencil then use the brush way more get into place faster then put the excess back into your container when you have picked up the design with the transfer sheet xx love to watch you also on one of your previous videos you said about your fingers i saw a lady with like plastic oval shaped supports for this sorry i dont know the name of them but im sure if you speak to your doctor they will know what these are called in your country here in uk the names are different from the us take care keep crafting xx
Hi. I like the videos but it would be really good and super helpful to get a 1080 quality. Or higher if possible. Is difficult to see well. Thank you for all this great videos.
i found a link for you these are the first ones i found i am sure there are a lot of different ones cheaper ones if you look around i too have arthritis so i feel your pain too i need to get me some too hey xx
I use a painters trim brush. Has a higher pile. Also my templates I put on thin wood from Michael’s. It’s like 3” wide and maybe 3’ long. Wood prevents static. If you are going to be making a lot of items. I use my dremel and drill each hole into plexiglass. I have a cheer bow business and have literally done 40,000 crystals in 3 days. Insert eye twitch. SCAL has rhinestone design too.
OK so I may be missing something here but have watched the first 3 minutes of your video which tells me how to find the font I need via Creative Fabrica, then you jump to using it in Cricut design space but with no explanation of how to download the font into it? I'm confused? It does look like your video will help me a lot but I have certainly stumbled at the first hurdle?
Hello 👋 I downloaded a font on creative fabrica and is says for size did ss10 is .324 why is it so big? Should I stick to .127. I’m just trying to put a simple word on a beanie.
@@AngieHolden At the very least, I think you could make a template with some removable vinyl, lay it over your canvas, and, very carefully, glue the diamond dotz down. Then, when you’re done, peel up the template.
i went to TRW and they have free font download for lettering . But I question what is this flock material? second could I use foam sheets for template? where have you ordered your flock material from ? the trw has special tape for the lifting the stones to the final item .

Oh I like that hack! Thanks!
That is excellent information for identifying the size of each circle measurement. I really love your teaching style. That’s for sharing.
Good morning Angie love all your videos. Started cricketing a year ago I've been watching you ever since...
That is awesome!
This was really great tutorial for beginners. I havent dived in yet but Im trying to do my research. Your channel is on my kist thank you

Thank you for sharing Angie!! LOVEEEE those stockings, the stones are just so fun!! 😍
You are so welcome!
Angie that you so much for this video. I have watched many videos and you explained it with where I can really understand now I have to go practice. Have a blessed day.
I'm so glad!
Put the transfer tape on the mat and then you put the flock on the sticky side of the transfer tape that you put on the mat
OMG. I feel like I found Santa!! With all these videos. Thank u for sharing.😄🙏👍

Interesting! Yes I would not be able to do very large designs with a ton of tweezer work!
Got my book today thank you

Hi Angie
Got my book today! Thank you 😁
Wonderful!
Hey, where can you get the trays from please?
I got mine from Heat Transfer Warehouse.
i found a link for you these are the first ones i found i am sure there are a lot of different ones cheaper ones if you look around i too have arthritis so i feel your pain too i need to get me some too hey xx
Hi Angie I am having trouble uploading the fonts I purchase
For Cricut, you just add the font to your computer and it appears in Design Space. You may need to restart Design Space.
Did I miss what type of material you select in Design space for the flocking material?
Glitter HTV I think.
Hey ..... i was just wondering where you got that huge bag of stones?
Heat Transfer Warehouse.

Geez. That is A LOT OF BLING! HA!
Hello can I please contact you about this. I really need help with rhinestoning 😭

@@AngieHolden PERFECT, thank you so much Angie!
What settings on a Cricut? Which material should I use?
I have material links in the description below the video. Try a medium or heavy cardstock setting.
Hello 👋 I downloaded a font on creative fabrica and is says for size did ss10 is .324 why is it so big? Should I stick to .127. I’m just trying to put a simple word on a beanie.
I called out standard sizes in the video. You may measure your SS10 stones to be sure?
i like your video😊
Thanks!
Thank you so much!
Pls how much does the Printer /cut machine cost?
Depends on the Cricut you purchase.
Hlo mam machine kahan se order hogi
How big of a hole would SS12 be?
Sorry I don't have that as a reference in what I was working on.
How can I purchase many rhinestones that’s not 100s of dollars
Try The Baby's Booty. She sells small quantities!
Would this work for diamond dotz?
Never mind. I should have watched to the end. I didn’t realize that rhinestones are heat transfer.
I wonder if you would do the first part for diamond dotz then put it on some kind of adhesive?
@@AngieHolden At the very least, I think you could make a template with some removable vinyl, lay it over your canvas, and, very carefully, glue the diamond dotz down. Then, when you’re done, peel up the template.
What is the red material
It is made for making rhinestone templates. I linked to it in the description below this video.
i went to TRW and they have free font download for lettering . But I question what is this flock material? second could I use foam sheets for template?
where have you ordered your flock material from ? the trw has special tape for the lifting the stones to the final item .
Everything I used is linked in the description below the video including what I used to lift them and move them to the surface.
Cum se numeste programul? Care lucrezi
That looks like a pain. Thanks for the hack
Ss10 should be .135 .....on all of the programs they are wrong
Next time just take the paper off the flock paper and put it to the board.

Horrible
Thank you so much for the kind words!
