Thank you so much for not being a gate keeper 😊 I have been searching high and low trying to find someone to explain how to design your own rhinestone template. And your the only one That explains it very well. Now I just have to get my brain to see a pattern, from all the dots. Any advice where to start 😊
hi Nichole!! What helped me to start designing templates was to start with simple designs like stripes or a serape with various colors. Then from there moved on to things more complicated like star patterns, heart shape templates etc. I think there are soooo many ideas that can be done with these templates and the best way to start is just playing around or trying to recreate your typical tumbler designs into rhinestone patterns
Thank you for showing this in Procreate! I noticed that when I went to shade in my last main color, the remaining dots all filled in!!! Saved myself a ton of time!! Normally I do these in Affinity and just change the transparency on my details, this was SUPER HELPFUL!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I know how to make my own templates from scratch, but I don't have the time or patience for that! I don't make tumblers, but I do make custom cheer bows for my daughter's gym. With Allstar Cheer competition bows, that's A LOT of bling! I don't have a business, so paying for rhinestone software is out of the question, and I can't afford to buy 400 ready-made rhinestone strips. I have been looking for years for an easier/faster way to make my own, and you are THE FIRST person that has been helpful! I'm sure I can figure something out with this amazing tutorial, even without an iPad. Lol Thanks again! You have no idea how many people you've helped.
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I’m having a difficult time creating a multi layered design of my logo into a rhinestone template and even purchased a silhouette business edition for $100 thinking it may be easier to design via that program.. still can’t figure it out! I think I’m just finding confusing videos as some people don’t explain things as well as you do! I also never heard of the program you’re using so I will give this a try and hope for the best. Much respect.. so glad I found you!! This is absolutely perfect!!
Thank you so much for this video I have been looking for ages to find out how to do a pattern for skinny tumbers with rhinestones ..you make it look easy ...but thank you
thank you thank you thank you!!! I tried this on my own and it was an epic fail because I didn't know how to color the circles and it was literally color them and it was a mess. I appreciate you and your teaching!
This is so helpful. And your explanation of each step was really good. I’ve been searching for the past 3 weeks for a tutorial on this. Thank you so much!!
Thank you so much!!! I have been searching and asking to pay for this info for my business! You didn’t gate keep! Any tips on printing to sublimate on the tumbler regarding sizing?
I’m so happy this was helpful! I have not yet figured out the sublimation portion of this but I’m thinking you’ll need to purchase a larger template to correctly sublimate. Trying out a few soon and will share a video on what I learn
Hello. Thank you for sharing and being so detailed. I’m like you, I have so many ideas in my head. Do you know if there is a program I can use if I don’t have an iPad?
thank you, would you happen to know if there is a way to insert an image into that template to make it a picture. say like a rubber ducky or a beach and palm trees, etc...
I love the idea of this video! The problem I'm having is the app...I downloaded it a few months ago but didn't do much with it. Now that I'm ready to create something and reopened it, it's telling me to update the app. Once I click on update, the app isn't even showing up in my Google play. Any ideas, suggestions? What does the icon tile look like? I've seen others that are similar, but definitely not the same app.
Oh no! That’s so odd! The procreate app is a black background with like a diagonal swirl of multicolor through the center. It is though only available on apple devices
Amazing tutorial Lysha. So detailed and well explained! Thanks so much love. Can’t wait to try it out. Also can’t wait to see the cup you make with this template 😊 great job 👏🏽 stay blessed love 🥰
The template that I used is not sized for sublimation however there are blank patterns that you can purchase on Etsy that are sizes for sublimation that you can create your own pattern on
Love this tutorial! I have a question that I can’t seem to find addressed anywhere. I make/sell rhinestones pens and as you know it’s very tedious to do. So once I get a template for the pen version can this be made into w pen wrap so that I can easily glue the rhinestones directly on it? Would I be able to print from procreate to cricut? I appreciate any advice you can offer!!
If the template you use is for sublimation then yes. This template can’t be used as it’s not sized for sublimation to wrap a cup so the stones would be the correct size if that makes sense. You can though print from cricut if you save your png and upload it into cricut. If you try it with a template and it works for you let me know would love to hear how it turns out
Hi there! So when this wraps around the design will look seamless but I can plan to create and show a design that is a bit more intricate that might better depict the seamless ability of these templates!
There is an app for android called ibiusX I have not used it but have heard good things. I have also heard of people using adobe illustrator to do these
The template I created for this tumbler is for a 20oz straight tumbler. You should scuff your tumbler up before you stone. I do have a couple tutorials that show how to rhinestone from start to finish
I have been looking for a way to make my own design for tumblers. I’m very green at this very new and nervous. You went slow and showed all the points. I do have a question how would you get rid of the writing at the top if using for myself. I want to print to sublimate on my tumbler? Thank you for this wonderful video❤
For a logo if it’s simple yes I do think you could do this. Sometimes I find it’s easier to work with logos as a printed sticker and using a scatter method over it in the colors of the logo
So for this template it already is sized for the cups I use! Typically depending on what seller you purchase you blank pattern from it will tell you what cup style it is for. If not a good trial and error is to place stones on a smaller measuring tape glued down and measure how many can fit around your cup and down the length to decide how large your pattern needs to be
Ok I downloaded file needed and the procreate .. but when I open in Chrome and click chrome share I don't have procreate as a choice not even when I click the 3 dots for more
Are you able to save the file in general? If you can save it as an image to your phone that should allow you to send it t procreate from your photo gallery
So yes there actually is a way to do this! It’s one of many tutorials I am working on so I hope to get one up soon to show my approach to how I would do this
Hi there when that happens when you go to drop the color don’t lift your pencil and scroll it to the left until the percentage at the top of the canvas lowers to your like and only fills in the circle
@@CopperHueCollectionsChippewa when you drag and drop the color if it is filling the whole page drag and drop your color onto the canvas but don't lift your pencil and scroll your pencil to the left that will lower the fill ratio. Once you have it set to your liking be sure to click "keep filling" at the top of the canvas to continue to click on circles and fill them accordingly. If you send me a message on FB or IG (Lysha B Creative) I can send you a short video that helps explain it a bit better than writing it out.
Im truly not understanding what you’re referring to. I’ve this app for over six months and I haven’t been able to understand how to make rhinestone templates yet. Mine won’t fill properly.

can you do a tutorial on making a seamless rhinestone pattern
Hi there! So when this wraps around the design will look seamless but I can plan to create and show a design that is a bit more intricate that might better depict the seamless ability of these templates!
How can I delete a circle color. Say if you you wanted it back white?
Hey there! So o usually just go right over that color with the color I want to change it
Hi, do you have a template on doing other designs and letters?
Not currently but coming soon
Is there another app that is able to be used? I don’t have procreate
There is an app for android called ibiusX I have not used it but have heard good things. I have also heard of people using adobe illustrator to do these
Hi I have never done this before. What size is the blank image and do you have to roughen up the tumbler before stoning?
The template I created for this tumbler is for a 20oz straight tumbler. You should scuff your tumbler up before you stone. I do have a couple tutorials that show how to rhinestone from start to finish
I have been looking for a way to make my own design for tumblers. I’m very green at this very new and nervous. You went slow and showed all the points. Hi there and welcome!!! To get rid of the wording at the top, simply click the eraser button and you should be apple to erase the wording.
Is there a way to make this on an android. or PC
Hi there on android I believe there is an app called ibius x that allows color drop similar to procreate to create templates
Sorry if you’ve already said, but do you use a cricut or a silhouette cutting machine?
Love this tutorial btw and tyfs!!❤
I use a cricut!! I’m glad you enjoyed the tutorial.
Is it possible to import a logo into a template like this?
Yes it is you would import the picture and add it under you template and select the colors over top to match
I love this! How did you know where to put that first dot?
Thank you so much! So it’s a little of trial and error for sure but super helpful that this template notes where the center row of the template is
I have a logo that I would like to do this for, is it possible?
For a logo if it’s simple yes I do think you could do this. Sometimes I find it’s easier to work with logos as a printed sticker and using a scatter method over it in the colors of the logo
Also the app u use what is that cause the one I downloaded u just keep getting other apps to down load
The app is procreate I just download from the website to my files (on all iPads or apple devices) and send it to my procreate app from there
Can this also be done on Cricut Design Space?
Ya know I’m not sure? I mean you could get the template in there but not sure if it would pick up for by dot to fill separately
Can i ask how do you know what size the overall pattern should be....height x width of the item its being used for?
So for this template it already is sized for the cups I use! Typically depending on what seller you purchase you blank pattern from it will tell you what cup style it is for. If not a good trial and error is to place stones on a smaller measuring tape glued down and measure how many can fit around your cup and down the length to decide how large your pattern needs to be
Do u have to have a certain iPad to use that program or does any tablet work
I have an iPad Air 2 that version and up to pro are ones that are compatible with procreate
@@lyshabcreative2659 so the pro ones also will work

Can you do a pic behind the rhinestone template and then design on Procreate
Yes definitely!! I’m still practicing this way but I will create a tutorial once I feel confident in it!
Is there a way to put a photo/picture under the template to create the design??? X
So yes there actually is a way to do this! It’s one of many tutorials I am working on so I hope to get one up soon to show my approach to how I would do this
Is there a program out there other than procreate. It is only for iPad and I use surface pro 😢
So I have heard of IbisX that also works but I myself have not used it. It’s for android items
Do you know of another program I can use? Don't have an ipad :(
I think there is a problem called IbisX for android that you can fill in this templates with!
When I color drop it fills the whole page. I can’t figure out how to change the size
Hi there when that happens when you go to drop the color don’t lift your pencil and scroll it to the left until the percentage at the top of the canvas lowers to your like and only fills in the circle
@@lyshabcreative2659 thank you for the quick response. I will give it a try
@@lyshabcreative2659Hi, I did that and it still fills the whole page. How can I change that? It was at 50% when it was doing it.
@@CopperHueCollectionsChippewa when you drag and drop the color if it is filling the whole page drag and drop your color onto the canvas but don't lift your pencil and scroll your pencil to the left that will lower the fill ratio.
