Awesomasauce! Thank you over finally found an apprehensive video that doesn't make me need to pause and replay cause the tutor flew through whatever they were doing/clicking! And , in correct places, you fast forwarded things, saving me time and patience 😊 And compared to all the other vids about making stone templates from an image, I didn't expect it to be so simple ! Other ones confuse me.. like in ink space Thank you, I already was a queen of bedazzle, but I was using fonts and designs made by other people. Sometime having two purchase them Now I'm my own power house! 🥳🎉🤩👍🙏💯💪🤜🤛🤘🤸🍾🗽🔊💎 Ok that's enough. And for P.S.: I wanna suggest (from my experience and experimentation) to use black iron on instead of stones, so there's a defined outline. And then full spaces inside with stones. It gives it a multi dimensional, sharp, professional look and feel. Just stones have too much space in between and kind of look unfinished or kind of empty without an outline that "captures" them and binds the whole image and looks complete. Try it, think of cartoons, they always have a black outline. I just discovered transfer foils with foil glue sheet that is cut on Cricut.. so wicked! And not expensive. And holds! You'd love it! That's all. Happy crafting!
Thank you for this video as I needed to figure out a specific detail for images which involves stones with different sizes per each layer. Didnt have the sense to realize i needed to layer 😂😂😂😂 now i can move forward ❤
Hi Colette, Love your videos and thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge🙏🏾. Can this be accomplished using the Cricut or Brother Canvas workstation? More so with the Cricut. Thank you!😊
Hi Mary. Cricut does not have a rhinestone function. I design my rhinestone templates in Silhouette Studio and cut it with my Cricut Explore Air 2. Thank you for watching!
Good morning Correta, First, thanks for responding to my comment. I have two questions , the first is can you save unfinished projects in the silhouette solution business edition software? Secondly, watching your tutorial on the ombre effect I notice you grouped an ungroup while changing colors or fixing rhinestone holes in your design. Also, can you explain the reason behind grouping and ungrouping? Can Text be bent by that I mean can you put text in a half moon design? Instead of placing it from left to right on a straight line. I just received my circuit maker 3 Iam taking time out of day to practice some of the design styles you illustrated in RUclips. Really excited about what I can do with cutting machine. I am a beginninger eager to jump right to try new things. Thanks again for your help.
Yes, you can save your projects as silhouette studio files. Grouping and ungroup Ig is a preference. I group and ungroup because I like to keep each letter separate until I change colors and then I like to keep my layers groups. Yes, you can curve your text. It would be difficult for me to explain how in this response. You can search RUclips for a tutorial on how to curve text in Silhouette.
I have the silhouette studio business edition 4.4 however every time I start to design something in and I am halfway finished it will blink out and I lose everything, so my question to you is what level are you using? Is it different than 4.4? Also thank you so much for being so thorough and giving us step-by-step tutorials. You are the best. God bless you. 🙏🏽
I am not sure why this is happening. You should call support to see if they can help. Also, save you project throughout your designing so that you don’t lose everything. Thank you so much for watching!
Love ur easy to follow instructions but I have a question. The compound path 11:37- you compounded the red layer. Am I suppose to do that for each colored layer individually or every time I pile a color layer to the red layer? Like red and black- compound then red , black and gold then compound?
You need Silhouette Studio business edition for the rhinestone panel. If you have business edition, on top menu select panels and the rhinestone. Thank you for watching!
Hello can this be done in Cricut design space ? Do you have a video for it? I have a business logo I want to do in rhinestone but dnt know how to do it. I have cricut maker 3 and canva pro.
Unfortunately I only design in Silhouette and can not offer much help with photoshop as it has been years since I last used it. I think some of the steps are the same just done differently. I hope that you are able to convert the silhouette tutorial into photoshop language. Keep me posted. Thank you for watching!
I usually press each layer for about 12 seconds; but, the rule of thumb is to press layers for half the time and then press the final layer for the full time. Thank you for watching!!
I followed all of the directions you gave, but when I went to upload my SVG to Cricut, I got a message that said the file wasn't supported. My file looked just like yours. what am I doing wrong?
THANK YOU!!! your video is by far the best step-by-step tutorial. I am new to Silhouette, and only your video helped me. Thank you. 🙏🏿💜🙏🏿💜
