Matt is the greatest business owner ever, he not only teaches his customers how to use his products but also gives away tons of free stuff. TRW crew ROCKS!!!
So, after watching this video a couple times I decided to try out your method on the Joy. I absolutely love this! My Air 2 is not cutting complete circles and I have calibrated it several times hoping it would fix the problem. But, alas it did not. I have to tweeze out most circles. So, to the Joy. Watching your videos has inspired me to get back into crafting. I'm kinda artsy so I have been able to make my own templates and plan to attend some craft fairs. I'm 71 years old, it's never too late to find a passion. Your tutorials are great and easy to follow. I even figured out how to make a star template by using the shapes in Design Space. Made a flag and the stars (even though I had to individually place each one) came out great. Thanks for reinspiring me to get busy, once again.
I'm glad our videos have inspired you to get back to something you enjoy! I'd started out on an Explore Air 2 years ago. I would peel my Magic Flock off the backing paper and stick it directly to my sticky cutting mat. Then, set a custom cut setting of 350 pressure, Fine Point Blade and single cut (depending on the life of my blade or cutting mat, sometimes I'd have to do a double cut). When Design Space prompts you, choose More for pressure. Also, when you start peeling your template off the mat, if you notice a lot of dots are not weeding out, squeegee the template back down to the mat and try peeling from a different corner. The start/stop point of your blade can leave a tiny thread of material right there and peeling from a different direction often helps get more dots to remain behind. After you peel your template off your mat, if you still have dots that have not weeded out, squeegee the template to your table and peel up. Several dots should remain behind. Do this until all dots are weeded out. Happy Crafting and let us know if you have any other questions! -TRW Pilar

Matt, you are awesome and truly are an excellent teacher. I’ve had my product from you for over a year but after seeing to do this using the Cricut Joy and Easy Press, I’m ready! Thank you.
Thanks so much! Doing Rhinestone transfers and decals is really is easier than most people think. Let us know if you have questions when you start using our materials. You've got this! :D -TRW Pilar

WOW, You are amazing. what a GREAT TUTORIAL!!!! How do we know what to buy to start a Rhinestone or Heat Transfer business.? Seems like so many papers and plastics and stickers. Anyone know a list to get items? I want to buy a Heat press/Cup Press, and also the Cricut Joy and the other Cricut thingy BY THE WAY. I totally Love yourt Blinged out CRICKET!! Looks amazing!
Thanks so much! Honestly, we recommend starting out with a Silhouette CAMEO rather than a Cricut. The machines are very comparable for their cut quality, but the SOFTWARE is where you'll see a huge difference. Cricut will not let you export your work, ever. The upgraded version of Silhouette Business Edition not only lets you export your work, but also has rhinestone designing tools. As for materials to start up with..we have several starter kits on our site, ranging from enough materials to make a few shirts or another one has enough to make a few decals or even rhinestone decals. Then we have bigger kits that can launch a full business or even the Dream Kit, which includes your vinyl cutter, heat press, materials, artwork, absolutely everything. We advise everyone to not go nuts ordering off the start. We'd rather you order what your business can afford, let us help guide you on How to make everything and how to use your materials and as your customer base grows, go ahead and expand your business. A cup press is really not necessary--you can press rhinestones to our Bling Anything like in this video or press htv to our HTV Anything to make stickers or wraps. The tumblers and cups never touch the heat. ;) We have thousands of tutorials here on our RUclips channel and we host a FREE Live training each Monday night, so you can ask questions and get them answered in real time, plus we teach how to use different materials with different vinyl cutters. We love to share our info and our focus is on education. Let us know if you have any questions! -TRW Pilar
Those were all done by hand and we do have the Live videos showing us crystallizing our Joy (we call him CJ). ;) ruclips.net/video/EsC0wMDsdUY/видео.html is one of the Live trainings showing how we did this. We have another video showing the final numbers: Our time, number of crystals, the cost and what we'd sell something like this for. :) -TRW Pilar
Hi Brenda! Welcome to the TRW Crew! These decals can go on any smooth, hard surface. We've got videos of these types of decals going through the dishwasher with our GoPro! Properly applied rhinestones won't fall off. Since you're new to us, I thought I'd also let you know that we hold free Live training each week. Every Monday, Matt goes Live here on our RUclips channel, starting at 8pm EST. We show how to make different things, create discount codes just for the attendees, and answer questions in real time. After the training, we have fun giveaways and randomly select winners from the comments. Everyone is really helpful and it's one of the highlights of our week. I hope you can join us for the Lives. :) -TRW Pilar
One fast way to see materials is to click the down arrow by the video title. It drops down to a detailed area where we leave links and info. :-) -TRW Crystal
We have the templates on TheRhinestoneWorld.com under Designs / Tumbler Cup Wrap Templates. A little scroll down and you'll see the one sized for the 2 after the other cricut lid template. ruclips.net/video/VoOqZeTl1fU/видео.html -TRW Crystal
I have tried researching on different machines for my first ever crafting. I also was worried if it’s going to be updated and then the machine becomes outdated. Could you recommend on the best machines along with supplies and tutorials? Thank you so much for your help.
Go with your budget, but the Silhouette Cameo has the best software. It doesn't outdate but you can upgrade it at any time if needed. As for materials, it depends on what you're wanting to do. For a beginner, likely some adhesive vinyl to play with and ruin experimenting on and learning your cut settings, etc. -TRW Crystal
It would be extremely time consuming to make templates and design for all of the coloring but it's possible. What we do is use our Cams machine. Search that on our channel, it's so fun to watch. The machine places the stones so quickly. If you need custom work, search Estimate on site. -TRW Crystal
Still learning love your videos just a question does the stones need a sheet under it for shirts like the decals for bling anything material and also do you have a panda design and if not how would I do one for your stones thank you
Hi Shery, we have this cute Panda rhinestone design here: www.therhinestoneworld.com/panda-rhinestone-design For applying hot-fix rhinestones to shirts, you won't need anything under them because the rhinestones have a glue on the back of them that melts with the heat press and stays on the shirt itself. Here's a guide we have for pressing rhinestones to shirts: www.therhinestoneworld.com/How-to-make-a-2-Color-Rhinestone-T-shirt-Tutorial_b_287.html Here's a tutorial for making a rhinestone T-shirt: ruclips.net/video/Nq6Q931c_pU/видео.html I hope this helps, feel free to ask any more questions :) -TRW Erika
It's the easiest way, but the Silhouette Business Edition has a very extremely soft rhinestone menu in it, so it's still possible that way with a LOT of patience. :-) -TRW Crystal
I think the best deal is buying CorelDRAW 2018 from our website! It's only $200 with the purchase of the Design Wizard. Check it out below! www.therhinestoneworld.com/coreldraw-suite-trw-design-wizard-5-pro-bundle - TRW Haley
Hi there! We do not sell the Cricut machines, but made this tutorial to teach Cricut owners how to do rhinestone decals with their vinyl cutters. If you are needing a vinyl cutter, we recommend starting with the Siser Juliet www.therhinestoneworld.com/siser-juliet-12-cutter or the Silhouette Cameo: www.therhinestoneworld.com/silhouette-cameo-rhinestone-starter-kit-bundle We ship worldwide and also carry all materials needed to start a rhinestone business. -TRW Pilar
😮 that has to be a trick camera. There's no way those dots came out like that AND stones were perfectly laid out??? I suck lol thanks for the reminder 😂
Lol no tricks, just that we've been doing this for several years and have some cool hacks that we've figured out. We're happy to share the hacks, though. First, we remove the paper backing from the Magic Flock template material and stick it directly to the cutting mat. The sticky mat helps weed out the dots. Then, we just squeegee the dots off the mat. Now, the rhinestones fall in to the template because the holes are a tiny bit bigger than the actual stones. Plus, the shape of the stones helps make them fall in right side up. We have tons of tutorials here on our RUclips channel to help guide you. Let us know if you have any questions. -TRW Pilar
One by one! For CJ (Cricut Joy), we used flatbacks, adhesive and the Crystal Katana all found on site along with a few stone sizes. Here's one of the long Live videos with how we did it! There's other long Lives as well showing it being completed in stages, just search Joy on the channel. Enjoy!!! -TRW Crystal ruclips.net/video/EsC0wMDsdUY/видео.html
Of course you can! These are the cut settings for Cricut, just look for Magic Flock on the chart. www.therhinestoneworld.com/colorspark-cut-settings We're so excited for you to get started. Happy crafting! **We're live every Monday night, 8pmEST on our RUclips channel showing how to work with various materials, and giveaways. You definitely want to at least double your material cost and add a fee for time and labor. Rhinestone decals go for a little more than vinyl decals do. I'd say $8-13 depending on your market audience and your preferences. - TRW Haley
Hi Ryan, I have a question, what are the best tee shirts to get for rhinestones? I have asked this question of others and get so many different answers that I am just frustrated now. Some people say, polyester and some say cotton 🙄 . If you can give me some guidance on this matter, your help would be greatly appreciated 🙏🏽
Matt doesn't have a preference. He enjoys using Bella Canvas often because they're soft, but really you can press stones to just about any type of fabric. The key is to press it correctly. Proper time / temp / pressure are what matters. The back of the hotfix stones are just heat activated adhesive glue pads. Once liquidated, they'll settle into the fibers and hold just as well on cotton as they do poly. We've even pressed to bookbags. Test your material if you go off the rails with things like nylon, etc. They'll need a lower temp, lower melting point of the material. But since they don't get laundered it's not as big of a deal as it is for shirts. We're here if you have more questions! :-) -TRW Crystal

Good morning sir, job well done. Thanks for this.. pls how can I get this machine?

How did you decorate your Joy I would like to do mine you are the best
Jackson, Ms
One by one! For CJ (Cricut Joy), we used flatbacks, adhesive and the Crystal Katana all found on site along with a few stone sizes. Here's one of the long Live videos with how we did it! There's other long Lives as well showing it being completed in stages, just search Joy on the channel. Enjoy!!! -TRW Crystal

I love how you bling your cricut joy, do you sell that design template?
The Cricut Joy was actually done by hand, no template. Sorry about that!

Can we use our cricut mats with the flocking material? I'm very interested in giving this a try.
Of course you can! These are the cut settings for Cricut, just look for Magic Flock on the chart. www.therhinestoneworld.com/colorspark-cut-settings
We're so excited for you to get started. Happy crafting!

That is so cool! It was so much easier than I thought it would be. How much would you price a decal like that?
You definitely want to at least double your material cost and add a fee for time and labor. Rhinestone decals go for a little more than vinyl decals do. I'd say $8-13 depending on your market audience and your preferences.

I watched this already 👐🏾
Thank you for your support😊

Can this be used on tumblers? This would be so much easier than placing them individually. Would the glue hold Up to hand washing?
Yes, it can! You can find that product here: www.therhinestoneworld.com/bling-anything-decal-material. - TRW Katie
