EVE FOR PRESIDENT😍😍😍Omg this video was soooo helpful! I'm 2 years behind but baby I'm here now! I really want to try this. The part about viewing the source to see the image size was 🤯🤯🤯🤯👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽THANK YOU!
Eve, I love this video. You did a great job of explaining how to do the rhinestone template in cricut & make the cut. I loved the old you way back when, when you were doing tutorial like this. Will love to see more like this one, Thanks a lot for sharing your knowledge.
I can't thank you enough for this thorough tutorial!! You did an excellent job explaining everything. I was just trying to learn how to do rhinestones and you saved me a ton of my precious time..... which is invaluable!! Thank you so much....
I’m only 3:35 into this video and I already know I’ll be following you!!!!! You are Fantastic at explaining everything! I’m new to blinging things this way, I do it the old school way. But I’m also doing custom wedding heels where there’s no real pattern like this one. But I just had to say I love you’re video and I’ll be following you!!!! 😉
Oh wow this is a very indepth video and it has really helped me. When I went to download the software and purchase I see that Make the Cut hasn't had a update in a while. Maybe I am looking in the wrong place. I also just noticed that you filmed this video 4 years ago lol...are you still using this software? If not is there another software that you recommend?
Thank you! I appreciate the commendation. We have a rhinestone for Beginners class that you can watch anytime. For basic vinyl or embroidery classes we don't have those aside from our live streams.
Hello. Just wanted to say thank you for the tutorial it was very helpful. New to using my Cricut and using Rhinestones. Need to know exactly what size rhinestones is best on t-shirts and brand. I want to make sure i's getting the one for cups but for clothing.
hi, I really enjoyed the video and it was very informative, the only thing I found trouble with was the BIG" BB" in the bottom left hand corner. He covered up everything you were highlighting there. Thank you great job
Awesome video, you are a great teacher but, after watching how hard it is in Cricut, I'm going to buy a Silhouette Cameo, MUCH easier!! Thank you for such a good job with this video!!
Oooh Chi'le...Lol. I was trying to import custom rhinestone(just the circles) design I made in Silhouette Studio (I always design there first, then upload/import to Cricut for cutting) I use CDS in Chrome and I could get in on the mat but once resized, it would attach/weld. So glad I saw this tutorial...I simply went back to Silhouette Studio, added a black box, selected "Make Compound Path"... easy peasy had my template needed to import back to CDS!
Thanks, I love the video. I am unable to download Make the Cut as I get repeated error messages and dead links. I guess I will have to try Sure Cuts A Lot and guide myself through it or find a tutorial for that.
So, I just came across this video. I downloaded the file for Make the Cut...but got an error msg that the page has timed out ...is there an update that you know of so I can update and get my "key" so I can use the software? Thank you for your GREAT videos...they are so helpful!!!!!
I am sooooo glad you made this, I asked another person on how to do this and I really got no response thank you, thank you, thank you! Are there a certain size of rhinestones that should be used?
Hello, Thank you! When you buy your rhinestone files, it should give you the correct measurements so you can completely skip the step of opening it in another program first! Have a wonderful day!
The website says that but the software Does work with Cricut Design Space. You use the software to make an SVG file then upload that file to Cricut Design Space.
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! I started doing rhinestones a few months ago in Cricut DS and the frustration just about turned me off from doing them at all! This is so helpful! I will definitely buy the program ! One question tho. What cut do you use in DS? I have found that frustrating also finding what cuts the flock the best. This has helped me more than any other video I’ve watched on rhinestones in DS! I look forward to more of your videos!
Im so new to crafting, making shirts and all you were very informative, things I didn't even know, is Cricut the only cutting machine that you have. I have a Cricut I stopped using it because the site was always down.
Soooooo.... There are several programs out there, but none of them make a perfect rhinestone template. Look into Sierra Hotfix Era, TRW rhinestone Wizard, or Sure Cuts A Lot, or Silhouette Business Edition.
A big shout out from Canada, I just subscribed and have watched a few of your videos and I must say you are a great teacher. Very informative and easy to follow. I'm just a beginner and want to start a little side business. I was a little intimidated but watching your videos, I feel like.. I got this! Thank you Your amazing 😊
Most of my videos are quite lengthy due to me going into step by step detail. I do appreciate your feedback and for taking the time to let me know that you found it helpful!
Thank you so much for this video it was very informative and detailed. I truly appreciate your style of teaching and have subscribed to your channel and will be watching all of your tutorials.
Hello, glad to come across this video as I was trying to determine how to make rhinestone templates....I have the cricut maker. I down loaded a trial version of the make the cut software program...but what I am missing in the tutorial is how to actually make a rhinstone template from the SVG design. Can you help please?
Unfortunately I can't help with that part. I choose to purchase designs that are already made OR pay to have them made for me to cut myself. I dont have the patience to arrange all of those dots!!!
Hello, my name is Toni. I'm just seeing this video and interested in learning how to cut rhinestones via cricut. I looked up the Make the cut soft ware as it say it no longer compatiable for cricut. My question is since video was made three years ago, is this information still relevant, so I don't waste money and time purchasing the make the cut software and should I be looking to purchase another software? Thanks
Get Sure Cuts ALot instead or, better yet Silhouette business edition. Make the cut is indeed compatible with cricut. They state its not because you can not send designs to the machine from their software. But you CAN save svg files and upload to cricut design space to cut on the cricut.
Hello I just want to say thank you for all your content. It’s very helpful. I’m trying to start a small business I do chucks and would like to purchase some small rhinestone templates for iron on side of shoes and bottom of shirts. Where can I get templates already made
You really should be my spoken reason instructor ( haha) unfortunately Make the cut is no longer compatible with cricut UGHHHHHHH this is making something so simple difficult! Heaven sent patience
Awesome videos... I watched both of your rhinestones videos... the cut and the press. Question. Approximately how long did the cutting take for the hbcu shirts that you made? I understand the length of time depends on the design.. but I have an order that will probably use a similar amount of bling with three colors.. brown, gold and silver.
Hello, I love your videos they are so informative. I'm just starting this new journey doing mask and T'shirts. I wanted to know do you give one on one classes or just classes. please let me know thank you so much.
No ma'am, but the designers will list the stones that make up the design on the JPG of the design. Ss10 stones are the primary sizes but there can be other sizes from time to time.
Does Make The Cut no longer work with Cricut? I'm new to circut and just watched your video. When I went to Make the Cut to purchase and download the app, I read that it no longer works with Cricut.
hi just starting out really and seriously want to learn how to make Bling T shirts i have cricut, do you have a video on starting out the basic tools and everything
Ive been searching everywhere but can't seem to find an answer. If you could help I would greatly appreciate it. Your video was very helpful I was just wondering if creating your own template was possible on Design Space. I did see lots of templates available for purchase, I was just wondering if I would be able to create my own. Thank you
It is still compatible. The website said that back when I bought it. 👍🏾 You create the svg with make the cut, save it to your computer, then upload it to cricut design space
Could you please share what material you use to cut the rhinestone template out on using cricut explore air 2 and the settings?? I have been trying to use magic flock but cannot seem to find correct setting to cut it out easily...without having to individually pop out each circle. Also is cardstock an option to cutting the template out on?
I'm not a fan of using cardstock because I haven't been able to do that successfully and without making a mess. Test your magic flock cut settings on cricut by cutting out ONE SMALL test square or circle... no more than about 1/2 an inch big. if it doesn't cut through completely or cuts too deeply, make a minor adjustment and try again.
Wow this is very informative and I like to think I’m a very crafty person that catch on quick but now I’m thinking twice about doing bling TShirts... I’m getting sooo overwhelmed with trying to see which machines to order what programs I need!! Aaargggh!! #K🌹The🦋
This will be my first time cutting rhinestone template but I don’t know what setting to put my cricut maker on to cut the rhinestone flock so please help

Hello beautiful. I love how you teach. You are a great instructure. I've subscribed. I have a cricket explore 2. I know you said that you cut in bonded fabric. What setting number do you have it on? I've been trying to cut and its not cutting it. I can pull it off and partially the template doesn't comes off all in one. Can u please help?
My question is I have a shirt that has a beautiful Crystal design on it. I cannot find a vinyl or applique anywhere like it. Is there any way to scan this and sent it to Cricut to pick up the design and the stone placement ?

hi, I really enjoyed the video and it was very informative, the only thing I found trouble with was the BIG" BB" in the bottom left hand corner. He covered up everything you were highlighting there. Thank you great job
Uh Oh! Thanks for the info! I'll have to looiik at remaking the video.
You are really good at instruction! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful! Thank you kindly!
Awesome video, you are a great teacher but, after watching how hard it is in Cricut, I'm going to buy a Silhouette Cameo, MUCH easier!! Thank you for such a good job with this video!!
Thank you kindly for your feedback! Cricut does have extra steps. 😆 I understand.
Great instruction. However, did you mirror the design before you cut it on the flocking material?
Oooh Chi'le...Lol. I was trying to import custom rhinestone(just the circles) design I made in Silhouette Studio (I always design there first, then upload/import to Cricut for cutting) I use CDS in Chrome and I could get in on the mat but once resized, it would attach/weld. So glad I saw this tutorial...I simply went back to Silhouette Studio, added a black box, selected "Make Compound Path"... easy peasy had my template needed to import back to CDS!
Make it work! 🙌🏾🙌🏾 Thanks for sharing your solution!
Thank you so much for doing this. When I finish with my flock, it comes shredded. There are some defined holes but most of it is shredded.
Hey girl, a short cut is with Sure Cuts A Lot software. ❤️❤️❤️ then export to cricut design studio or cut it in SCAL program😷
Thank you so much for this tutorial, it saved quite a few headaches. I use the SCAL5 and was able to use your video for a reference point.
Great to hear! Most cutting software programs can support these basic instructions. Enjoy making your templates!
Hello...Thank you for your tutorial. Is there a way to create my own design using Design Space for rhinestones?
Wow thank you I never would have thought about that I did catch Cricut likes to mess up your sizes when upload...thank you
Great job at being so concise and thorough.I went to becreateful and thought their shipping fees were crazy.
Thanks, I love the video. I am unable to download Make the Cut as I get repeated error messages and dead links. I guess I will have to try Sure Cuts A Lot and guide myself through it or find a tutorial for that.
Thanks for the learning, I enjoy it
So, I just came across this video. I downloaded the file for Make the Cut...but got an error msg that the page has timed out ...is there an update that you know of so I can update and get my "key" so I can use the software? Thank you for your GREAT videos...they are so helpful!!!!!
oh no! Were you able to get the key? If not, you can also use Sure Cuts A Lot or Silhouette Business Edition.
I am sooooo glad you made this, I asked another person on how to do this and I really got no response
thank you, thank you, thank you! Are there a certain size of rhinestones that should be used?
It depends upon the design you purchase. Designs are made for specific sized stones. A GOOD design will tell you what size stones to use.
Hello,
Thank you! When you buy your rhinestone files, it should give you the correct measurements so you can completely skip the step of opening it in another program first! Have a wonderful day!
I have been living under a rock!!! Lol!!! Thank you sharing !!!!
This is an amazing explanation. Thank you. I'll let you know how it goes for me.
Thank you for your video. Great instruction and easy to follow.
I don't know if you are aware that Make the Cut is no longer compatible with Cricut.
The website says that but the software Does work with Cricut Design Space. You use the software to make an SVG file then upload that file to Cricut Design Space.

Beautiful explanation and thank you from saving me from a headache!
BTW I love your tutorials. Very informative and easy to follow.
Girl! Thank you for sharing this awesome video. Love it!
You are very welcome! Enjoy your bling!
I am trying to find out how do I load the magic flock to my list of materials on my Cricut Design Space
Hello, thanks for this video! Any recommendations on how to make the actual rhinestone template? Before putting it in make the cut
Like a customized one
Soooooo.... There are several programs out there, but none of them make a perfect rhinestone template. Look into Sierra Hotfix Era, TRW rhinestone Wizard, or Sure Cuts A Lot, or Silhouette Business Edition.
Use sure cuts a lot program as well
Great video!
Hi...I'm new to Cricut. I just started following you and Make the Cut is no longer available for Cricut...have you made another video on what to do.
I just read the same thing on Make the Cut’s website. Is there a work around?
The software is definitely compatible with Cricut if it is used as outlined in this video. 👍🏽
AWESOME AWESOME VIDEO !! I’m super excited to start !! Thank you
🙌🏾 You're welcome!
Hi could you please tell me which cutting tool (for the maker 3) I would use to cut the rhinestone template?
🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼thank you so so much ❤️❤️❤️ that was awesome 👍🏼👍🏼

Thank you kindly Ms Porscha! I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and leave a comment! 😄
I one word for this: WHOA!!
Rhinestones can be done with Cricut despite how they have changed their platform. An outside program will make it helpful.
Awesome video. Thank you, very thorough
Thank you very much OneWiseLady! I appreciate you taking the time to watch our videos!
Love your videos

I wanted to know where you would find the crickets material for cutting. (Paper)
Hi, I love this tutorial. One question what size stone do you use?
My "Go to" stone size is ss10. However the design dictates what size stones you will ultimately use.
Amazing tutorial
Thank you very much, Grown Folks! I appreciate you taking the time to let me know that you found the video to be helpful!

It does work with cricut. It makes svg files and you just upload those svg files into design space.
Hello love! I truly appreciate you! My question is, what do you use now that Make The Cut is no longer compatible with cricut?
I just found out as well, what a bomber
not sure if you found a program, but Sure Cuts A Lot does the same job
AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME tutorial. Thank you!

Thank you for this tutorial
I reviewed your link for make the cut. It says it is no longer compatible with Cricut. Have you used Sure Cuts A Lot.
I was going to get the make the cut software, but it is not compatible with cricut anymore, so what other great software is there
I use Sure cuts a lot 5 with my air 2. (scal5)
the dreaming tree svg site has it for $48. i love it. it also allows you to convert any file format to png or svg. It creates templates for puzzles, does the curve text for tumblers, and shadowing and knockout for keychains, etc. best software ever. On the original site its $75. you dont need the pro which is $100+ the basic works just fine.
Micaela Nicole does it work for Cricut maker?
I’m new and confused. Are there any programs that still work with design space?
Design space has improved and now works MUCH better with bling templates.
I realize Inkscape is not your preferred method of making rhinestone templates, but that Is what I have and I can't afford anything else right now. Do you have a tutorial on how to use it to make rhinestone templates?
No, I don't. I am actually quite the novice with inkscape.
The Make -The -Cut website states it's not compatible with Cricut. You can still use? Thx!
Hi, help me. I what to buy the make the cut product Can you still use it on my cricut with this method??? Even though the website says no.
You mention in the video that you make your own rhinestone templates. Do you have a tutorial on how to do this?
Not yet. I need to!
Will keep watch for it!
What type of material do you use to cut out the templates, and add the rhinestones on to?
I'd like to know as well please, and thank you.
Cricut is a pain when it comes to rhinestones! Thank you for your informative video!
It is... but once you get used to it, you make it happen and make that $! 😄

My question is I have a shirt that has a beautiful Crystal design on it. I cannot find a vinyl or applique anywhere like it. Is there any way to scan this and sent it to Cricut to pick up the design and the stone placement ?
🤔 Possibly! It would be an undertaking, but I dont see why it couldn't be done!
