    New sub here. Great vids. Thanks for posting all the stuff on the 1LE. I'm in the market for one but up here in the Boston area they are super hard to find. Might have to fly down south and drive one back. Anyway, I've been a back yard mechanic for several decades now and if you can install a CAI yourself you should be able to install those sway bars, maybe even the bushings, yourself.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  7 лет назад +1

      Before I say this they didn’t pay me or give me a discount. In fact my dealership doesn’t even know I’m a youtuber. Call classic Chevy sugarland they got me 8000 over book on my c7 stingray. They are really pushing camaros. They can probably deliver or it’s a chain so maybe one close. It’s worth the phone call to them though. They only had two when I got mine. But they were only dealer with any when I looked.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  7 лет назад +2

      No just one. The 063 is a easier to install version that you don’t have to remove stock bushing. Didn’t even know it existed. Sounds like it’s some kind of sleeve.

    Your reason for not going with Eibach was because thay have more performance suspension experience than almost anyone out there?..lol. theres a reason why they supply parts to almost all performance cars. Your reasoning is questionable.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +3

      I apologize. My biggest reason was all their attention to camaro and pony cars. The main thing was the under car video footage before and after on their RUclips channel. Also both their products I have added to my car I feel a positive difference. Not saying that eibach is bad. I just like that bmr is more specialized in these cars. But eibach has been doing this a long time. Honestly either company and your probably good. But I do challenge you to watch those videos. It was a real eye opener to me on how much flex there is. Chevy took a lot of weight off these cars for 6th gen. Some of the places they did it was Suspension unfortunately.

    • @baddrivercam
      @baddrivercam 5 лет назад +2

      Your only option with eibach springs for the gen 5-6 is a progressive rate spring. That was my reason for going with BMR springs. I did buy my dampers from eibach though.

  • @marcovalle9410

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 лет назад +2

      They have a crap load of stuff for 6g. I recommend checking out their RUclips channel. They did a 6 video test on 6g camaro. That’s what sold me. They don’t sponsor me at all. I just like their stuff 👍

    Hey those are 20in stocks ?

  • @Raven77844
    @Raven77844 6 лет назад +6

    Why would you mess with such an amazing suspension setup from the factory for a 1in drop?? This is a track car that has beat cars twice as expensive on the track. I dont get why ppl do this. I get it if the car doesnt handle that great from the factory, but this is not the case with this car. Such a shame. Not to mention a waste of money. You think BMR has invested the same R&D and time that GM has put into it??

  • @rschris
    @rschris 6 лет назад +2

    Man she came out nice now it has a good stance . How are the stock shocks holding up to the reduced travel and are you thinking of upgrading them? Thanks for the great videos.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +2

      So far so good on the stock shocks. The BMR doesn’t lower as much as the Eibach so I haven’t seen any change yet. I may in the future change but will upgrade control arms and rear diff bushing first to get rid of some wheel hop

  • @DnyBy811
    @DnyBy811 6 лет назад +1

    Won’t the springs ruin your shocks/dampeners over time since now their more compressed over time? I don’t know how it works on the magnetic suspension but I know on normal cars lowering springs will blow out the shocks/dampeners over time.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +2

      I don’t think these are that extreme. I had heard of the issue your speaking of but haven’t heard any complaints so far on forums. Think this is more an issue with the More extreme kits. This kit works great with the mag ride too. Honestly this was why I never did in the past on any car. My mechanic has his vette lowered with same kit and 50k miles on it since install. So It eased my mind some

    Super nice...!! By the way, wha type of tire dressing are you using?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 года назад +1

      I’ve been really testing those. Even Adams tire shine kind of fails to me. My favorite actually came in a mystery box from a company I’ve never heard of. Brand: Limitless Car Care ..... Name: Grip Gloss. I’ll put one coat on couple hours or day before a show. Then another when I park at car show. And the shine last for days. Never used their products before this but it beats Adams and chemical guys by far

    Great way to make your car handle worse. These make the car bounce while.cornering if there are any bumps and greatly reduce initial turn in response. Great if you only care about looks but if you track your car do not do lowering springs.

    Man, it looks so good! Will lowering the car affect the magnetic ride?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +1

      Absolutely not. Had a lot of people paranoid and say it will but both bmr and eibach have fully tested with magnetic ride. It rides just a hair stiffer in each mode. But I mean barely noticeable. Only thing that can happen is your shocks are pushed in more. So over time they can be more susceptible to leaking or wearing out faster. That’s why I went bmr. They are more for performance and barely lower compared to eibach. I will do this mod to all my sports cars in the future. I’m for it all the way... feel free to contact me on Instagram if you have any questions. Same name

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1

      To be honest most people don’t know mines lowered. It looks more aggressive but takes people a minute to figure out why. Even with two side by side took a guy a while to tell why mine looked different

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +1

      I highly recommend BMR and they do not sponsor or give me a discount on any way. Go out to bmr channel on RUclips and watch their camaro testing videos. They put under car cameras and really put in the time to test on camaro. That sold me on bmr. I wish they would sponsor because I think what they are doing is awesome for the camaro. Watch their vids and youll see what I’m saying
