    Many people have dynoed 420 rwhp stock on the 6th gen 1LE. I guess it all depends of the dyno. My 2013 1LE was 391rwhp bone stock, not even a air intake.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  6 лет назад +3

      Yeah I’m figuring mine was around the same. Think I Dynoed 419 baseline. But thats with rotofab and headers before tune.

    • @Raven77844
      @Raven77844 5 лет назад

      @J Peezy on Dynojet it does put down 420hp stock. It depends on the dyno used. Mustang dyno is considered the heartbreaker dyno.

    • @Raven77844
      @Raven77844 5 лет назад

      @J Peezy I know my numbers. 10% drivetrain loss puts you at 410whp. Its a general rule of thumb, but not 100% accurate. There are many cars out there that put down more hp than suggested (in stock form). Perfect example is the new Toyota Supra.

  • @kyle66158
    @kyle66158 4 года назад +2

    I’m assuming that headers should be my last mod as they will remove any warranty correct?....even if I slapped the stock ones back on before any service repairs

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 года назад +2

      Well you could hide them true. But you really want to tune the car when you do it. Any tune tags a date in the computer. If the tune date doesn’t match they will know. It also is dealer dependent so one dealership might not care where another will.

    Hey man I got a question, so how much did it cost u? For everything? I’m thinking about going with some nice headers but I wanna know how much it is (also I’m in Houston as well)

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 года назад +1

      Well depends on build. 😬. I’d stay with stainless works kooks or American racing. Tsp is good on 1 7/8 but heard complaints on 2inch. If you aren’t going over 700 horsepower on build the 1 7/8 will give more low end power. You planning on going big or boost go 2inch. Also go off-road xpipe. Mufflers are all preference but good reviews from flowmaster, corsa and borla. If you go headers you will need a tune as well so might as well spend the extra 200 for E85 sametime (provides its 6th gen). I’ve switched shops recently to JRods in Rosenberg. He uses same tuner my previous shop did.

    • @lolyouwontfindme6070
      @lolyouwontfindme6070 4 года назад +1

      OnlineCarShow oh wow, well ok to clarify I daily drive my Camaro (it’s a 2018 SS) and tbh I don’t want anything crazy. I just want a bit more “fun” out of my daily whenever I go to “Mexico” with my friends over on the beltway, oh uh, I mean on the highways in Mexico.
      Lol but yea man tbh I don’t plan on camming my car or going over 700 hp. I just want to get to MAYBE 520 crank hp? (I’m sitting at about 465 to 470 with my current mods, all bolt on no tune yet) and yea so tbh headers was the last thing I’m thinking of doing and also a flex fuel kit (from lethal) but I did have a couple questions about that as well:
      - so when I have the flex fuel kit, do I HAVE to use e85? Or can I still use my regular, 93 octane pump gas?
      - is it true u get horrible gas mileage with e85? (Idc if I do tbh but I’m most likely gonna be using 93 octane anyways since there not too much e85 in my area of town)
      - can I mix e85 and 93 octane pump gas? If I do will it mess up my car in the long run?
      That’s all for that one, and anyways so basically if I plan on staying below 700 hp and keeping it all natural (no boost, etc.) then 1 7/8 is my best option?
      - thank u for ur time n I hope u can answer my questions, thanks again!

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 года назад +1

      To answer you question you can switch back and forth with no issues. Chevy has trucks that do the same so the ability is already in the computer. Your just adding the sensor and mapping the tune. It does take two full tanks of E85 to get the full power out of it or two tanks of 93 to get your mpg back. You will lose a mpg or 2 just with the tune. I gained about 30hp off headers and 26 off E85 plus hp tune on top of that. It will make all the difference. I watched a friend get second place bolt ons only record of 11.6 with just E85 headers tune and drag radials. You will gain on both low and high end. I would run 93 most of the time and switch a couple weeks before I knew I was racing the car.

    • @lolyouwontfindme6070
      @lolyouwontfindme6070 4 года назад

      OnlineCarShow oh ok and also which header size do u recommend for daily driving? (Btw I don’t plan on supercharging my car, or anything of the sort, maybe porting my intake manifold but that’s it)
      And also what if I mix e85 and 93 octane? (Like by accident or if I really needed to put gas in my car, etc.) will it ruin my engine or I should be ok?

    I understand how the flex fuel tune works, but what if you go half 93 and half e83? Would that mess anything up? And also where did you get the little black decals near your splitter??

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  4 года назад +1

      Decals I made but there was a company that copied my idea think they are called fangs if you search for them. If you have half and half fuel it doesn’t matter. The sensor monitors the percentage of ethanol and adjusts tune and percentage increases. But because of that when you get tuned find the best E85 you can to put in and make sure you show up to tune with only 1/8th a tank of gas and E85 in extra fuel container. Having the highest percentage available will help tune a lot. Hope that helps... also whenever you switch after tuning it usually would take me two full tanks of E85 before I saw full effects on HP.

    Who’s the best tuners in TX for Camaros?

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 лет назад +2

      That is very arguable depending on who you talk to. LMR is awesome but takes about 2 months to schedule. I personally only trust MS Tuning in Rosenberg. @SorianTuning or maybe under Matt Sorian. He is only one I trust and my mechanic trusts for LS or gen IV LT1 tune.

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1

      Currently depending on tune and what’s involved I think his price is around 650

    • @OnlinecarshowNet1
      @OnlinecarshowNet1  5 лет назад +2

      Please dont quote me on this and prices do go slowly up. Also things like E85 can require extra runs to tune both E85 and 93 on dyno. So I’m sure he charges extra for that. It is well worth the money getting a good tune. I know there are tuners that charge even as low as 450. But a bad tune can destroy your motor... The new LT motors can have around 300 settings in the tune that are adjustable. Better to have someone that knows exactly what they are doing handle this. Matt does the tunes for some huge reputable car and motor builders, plus I know first hand after driving the camaro over a year after the tune. He is good and only person I trust.

      Not sure if I believe that. E85 really wakes up the direct port on the lt1 even over the LS from before. Their baseline is probably 400hp to wheels if it’s 5 more than Chevy. That’s 100 hp they would have to get off headers and E85. Maybe they mean at crank hp. My at crank is probably 510 now.

      I see these comments everywhere and it's getting a bit annoying. I myself prefer Chevy but even I considered buying a 18 GT, and they will make crazy power with just bolt ons and E85, however nobody takes into account that the motors are being replaced left and right at the dealerships, and it's what drove me away from buying one. On top of that I only drive stick, so when I heard that the shift forks in the MT82 are being busted left and right, and since you can't just replace the shift forks Ford puts in a new tranny, and the waiting list is long. The 18s were so promising and I wanted to pull the trigger on one but the risk ain't worth it. At the end of the day when it comes to cars you can only pick 2 when it comes to being reliable, being fast, and being cheap.
