Hi there... I have been using the first one you mentioned, NHS weight loss that shows blue square with tape measure. I am overjoyed with it. 12 days and already lost 6lbs. Set my calories for 1500 a day. I'm 76, and not very active. Main activity is walking to shop twice/ three times a week which takes an hour or so. And of course house work. I have learned to weigh everything and which foods give most for less calories. Brilliant app for keeping things in order and plenty of tips and advice. I can honestly say I am eating healthier and I have not been hungry. I would recommend this app.

You describe my fitness pal so well. I was doing Noom. I liked it but for some reason I didn’t like the categories the foods fell into green, yellow and orange. Their database wasn’t as good as my fitness pal but I know my fitness pal has been around for a lot longer. I think Noom would be good for people who need additional education on “healthy food”. My fitness pal is good to log food quickly. Found this video very helpful and interesting thank you
American here. I use My Fitness Pal. I have IBS-D, so some healthy foods for other cause me tummy issues. I like that My Fitness Pal gives you control over what you eat. Noom sounds like it wants to be in control. WW tends to demonize healthy deaths.
