I think it would be great with achieving a short or long victory to also gain an option to choose one extra suitable climate. It would be just great to have a way how to increase your options for teritories where to expand. Also many factions are limited in their expansion options, which makes these campaigns limited and not worthy to replay in a different manner.

As a Cathay main, I 100% agree. So much uninhabitable! But I expect it would be similar for most other races, Cathay just lacks good replenishment to handle it.

I gave Yvresse to Tyrion, declared war on the Greenskins on the Elven Island and took the territory, and moved the second army to the wastelands. In the wastelands i took control over the first province and kept going after Skarbrand and imprisond him while taking his territory. In the meanwhile the game decided to spawn two armys in my elven settlements and made the pirates of saratosa going wild. The rats were able to kill my main army in the wastelands and from now on its a very difficult task even playing on easy xD

I now started a campaign where the (apart from what's happening in Ulthuan) the first settlement I take is Aranessa's home town, to then conquer Tilea from her and gift it to Belegar for eternal friendship (and eventually his ghost heroes), ending up in Skavenblight.
I'm there now and Ikit (who was out shopping) and that beastman bro are coming my way. Once I defeat them, I will sail via Teclis to Imrik, and afterwards go east from there to the badlands.
In Ulthuan, North and South Yvresse are united and the mage is moving up to N'kari, while a noble is seeking out Alith Anar before he's dead.
A new metal mage will build up an army in Skavenblight once Eltharion sails south.
I'm at turn 10 and I like this start. I'm at -1000 gold per turn with 6000 in treasury, so it's quite aggressive...
    I play VH/VH.
I don't do Legendary because I need to pause and give orders in battles...
My plan is to have all the High Elf LL's soon!

Had no idea that's how capturing worked. Went a whole campaign thinking you could only capture legendary lords.

Hello Costin! Great Warhammer 3 videos. Have you tried the SFO mod? If you have, what are your thoughts on it?

Eh, giving up Yvresse seems to greatly reduce potential for mid-late game.
And Imo, just confederating Tyrion buffs your faction more than short campaign reward (1 turn global recruitment with 2 extra slots, -10% upkeep for all armies). Alith Anar is quite important too (ridiculous personal stack, +4 control everywhere, +12% missile damage for all armies). Alarielle less so - her more important buffs are faction effects only available if you start as her, and as an army leader she is worse than generic lords (unless you can get near full stack of sisters, but that's super lategame and extreme opposite of cost-efficient).
Climate-wise Wastelands area of the map he start in is the largest continuous Wasteland block, but still not enough past early campaign. Confederating Ulthuan and expanding into Nagarrond seems to be the best long term plan, just as it is for every other HE faction.
