LegendofTotalWar just did a one man doomstack vid showing how Vilich is literally unkillable. Even without the Sword of Caine, His Barrier regen is absolutely unbalanced AF.
The issue is that it's one lord, no auto-resolve and painting the whole map with him will be a long and arduous process. Winning battles with Vilich isn't the only thing. All those lords can have unbeatable armies by late game even vs 2-3 stacks. It's getting there that ranks them in my opinion.
@@mgainsbury with Vilich you can level up faster your troops from zero to hero very fast and than send them to another lord as a powerhouse ( to boost many armies ) best BROKEN Lord is Kolek , after 50 turns and many many vassals he can SOLO whole armies inside the castles ( he break wall and hill everyone ...... alone )
Be'lakor is my favorite. So damn strong especially with those portals you can conquer and vassalize the entire north after getting sword of khaine and just drop portals everywhere. Super OP and maybe a bit broken but still fun. Also Be'lakor is a beast on the battlefield
I would argue that azazels camp is one of the best you have the entirety of norsca to conquer and you don’t have to use your seduction mechanic it’s more of a side thing that you could get with let’s say Malus on the top of the map or other human/elves as for the units his regular chosen are good because they get sophoric musk early on and they are good frontline to hold whilst your cav flanks with their devastating charge they gain extra dmg the more things they kill later down the tech tree. Forget the helscourges exists. Azazel himself is a absolute unit he can route pretty much anything if you flank with phantasma spell and build up domineering aura . Adding on to his starting position by the time you finish up in norsca you have all your vassals beating the hell out of everyone in the empire. I feel like it’s unjustified to put in next to sigvald throgg isn’t much of a challenge
for sigvald/ Azazel you could use your gifted units to supplement the the lack of killing power from no great weapons hellstriders are not amazing to be sure but that is because you have the ability to grab heart seekers or slaanesh chariots which do a heavy amount of damage plus slaanesh marauders are the best of the monogod marauders by a good bit. the public order thing is an issue for siggy but the vassals spreading slaanesh corruption does alot of good for your public order.
Love how you can grow each unit & sidegrade them to your needs. I actually think every race should have this. My only issue is that you can't just recruit the strong units later on, or even the base units & that instead you're limited to a 'raise dead' style recruitment(or gifts every few turns). Sounds awesome for a 'survival' mode but otherwise feels rather limiting IMO. Also Slaaneshi Knights benefit from double charge bonuses from rear attacks- the issue is there are so many AP units that do the same job in Sigvald's roster. Also Sigvald gets some insane buffs & debuffs for Hellscourges faction wide, that make them top tier for holding the line while your top tier flankers clean up armoured units. His own buffs/debuffs & melee stats make him shockingly good at dueling despite his lack of AP. Azazel has similar benefits but a limited roster. I'd argue Sigvald is a better faction leader.
For Sigvald (and yes, he got a pretty hard start) I go mostly Tzeentch after Slaanesh for anti-large. Slaanesh is really not in the best place on the battlefield (but not in MP). Im now around turn 75 and slaanesh corruption isn't a problem anymore because vassals spread slaaensh corruption and also some techs help. Azazel have a pretty easy start. He has access to a lot of dark fortresses. Festus aoe heal/dmg he has from the start is really good, even post nerf. But I overall agree with your ranking.
@@Costin_Gaming But would you recommend I go Archeon and confederate him, or straight up Sigvald, also what god would you recommend I focus most of the units to?
I am not saying your wrong about Sigvald I haven't played him yet, but when I fight him he feels unkillable. I have yet to kill him I just army losses him. then Auto Resolve him to death. Festus is a damn Freight train.
Tbh Sigvald needs some buffs I main Be'lakor but I would use Sigvald if he was good. Also blissbarb archers and Myrmidons and of course great weapon slaanesh units would do them justice Slaanesh is so fucking weak.
I don't know why but I thought it felt pretty good with Valkia, but every other Lord I've played needs to rely on having feeder lords just travel around looking for units, which fucking sucks ass imo

@@Hangman1 kholek is very underrated atm.
He will just smash… everything.

This man gets it, Bel’lakor forever!

Kholek also makes the trolls and spawn even better seeing as all monstrous infantry get missile resistance. Particularly good for invading Cathay.
Keep up the good work

Isn't Azelazel just the more demonic version of Sigvald?
Also, WoC is currently one of my Favorite factions
very good vid ... thx

i d go so far as to say Archeon is too strong to be fun ^^
the confederation mechanic is fun, but so broken OP
Me who just started Sigvalds campaign before seeing this video xd
He got fixed.

Archaon is stronger late game but Sigvald has a lot more early game potential.
hmmmm i been playing azazel wrong.. never use the seduction stuff LOL. i just went on a rampage like a typical khorn. LOL

Was this a reupload, or something?
Valkia is buggy.. she has horrible animations and movements
I would love playing the WoC if they had normal recruitment. I just really dislike the RNG recruitment style.
Belakor will be the choice then, since you can just rely on gifted units which has no rng attached.
