Wow, this version looks stunning! Thank you for your wonderful videos, I really enjoy them after a long work day when I am too tired to fly myself :)

I saw you pulled back the propeller with your mouse. I can highly recommend the Honeycomb bravo! It’s so immersive.

I'm glad you solved the scenery issue, because in the last stream, I was surprised that all the airport buildings looked so bad to be frank. THIS looks much better!

I bought this from the market place yesterday, looks to be and best to my knowledge the updated version now watching this. Good value for the 7 something pounds I paid for it. They've modelled alot of things for the price.

Great video as always. After watching yesterday's video and then today's. I expect tomorrow you will rent a real airplane and give us a tour in real time and real life. This was very close to the real deal. Love your work. Oh, I'll google it but is headlands the same as shoreline? Thanks again.

Are tides modeled in msfs ie does the road out to the island disappear under water at the correct time?

No - Asobo are thinking about it though :)

I tend to shy away from the marketplace because they have a reputation of not rapidly updating partner’s versions. Same for Orbx and their partner products, I’m sad to say. They both have to be hounded to update.

Thanks for the video ...was fun and interesting.
To be honest i didn't see the add-on before the update but what they have now looks fantastic, a great wee add-on i must say .
The coastline around the whole island looks awesome, the way the sea reflects the sun and the clear waters ..wow.
Think youve cost me more money lol ...looks like a great island to explore with a helicopter ,i did see a utube video the other day highlighting a cool crop sprayer addon for a helicopter ...might give that a go here on Alderney 😀
Well done to the devs of this add-on 👍
Ps. Can i ask how do you bring up little screens like littlenavmap and your audio control software so quick in flight?

That looks like great value for the quality on offer. Any chance of reviewing other Boundless scenery? Hopefully their airports are just as good.

What I dont understand is that as far as I can tell my Alderney purchased at the MSFS store look exactly like yours here. No update in the MSFS store either. Whats even more puzzeling is that one of your earlier videos from Alderney two years ago look exactly like this in your video Tower interior etc.this is really strange.

I have no idea either - there are definitely two versions of it floating around though.

They need to reduce the trees by half, far too many in the model.

Memory tells me Hitler ordered the island be heavily fortified during WW2, hence all the fortifications. To build the defences, Alderney was the site of Nazi slave labour camps, with many many deaths of the labourers. I also seem to remember, as a boy, the camps were described to me as concentration camps. Great video and scenery thank you.

Although the Channel Islands had no strategic value the propaganda value of occupying British soil was too much for Hitler, who personally insisted that they be heavily fortified. Apparently, 25% of the budget for the entire Atlantic wall was spent on them.
I used to holiday in Jersey as a kid in the early 70's, and every beach had gun emplacements and pillboxes that you could still go inside to explore.
