@Chem-X definitely I found out the hard way was having a hard time getting the trucks to look clean no matter what I used back in the day. Caked on quick lime. The company I work for has 8 dump trucks with 12 yrs of quick lime cakes on. New boss wants them clean. We're having difficulty finding how to do that.
How's the touch less technology so far? Does it ruined clear coat long term cause any damage as they used to say? same as for ceramic coating or waxes applied to cars? is the soap harsh?
About 20 years back my family used to make some really harsh two step stuff that did hurt clear coat, glass and polished aluminum, I've been working up to this current generation of formulas to address that ever since and over the last two years I've been very happy with the results. I've actually seen no issues on clear coats or glass, and the only thing I've seen issues on is if stripes dries on polished aluminum before you rinse it it can leave a slight haze which would have to be polished, the solution there is not not foam an entire truck down at once esp if your out in the sun. Ceramic is not impacted at all, wax would take a slight hit with each wash tho
I’m at 5.5 here and it’s probably mid range, not ideal but not horrible, a lower grain hardness would help the soaps work better and leave less water spots, that’s why I blow dry stuff that I wash before the water leaves any spots behind
How does stars and stripes not effect paint over time? Seems like the low ph of stars and high alkaline of stripes would be pretty rough ? Dont get me wrong i really enjoy using your products. But i don't want to kill my paint on my 2022 peterbilt..
I have had experience in my life about 20 years back now using two step soaps that did negatively impact clearcoat, glass and polished aluminum, so my goal with this current set of stars+stripes formulas was to address those issues and they have been very very good on those levels over the last two years now. Thanks for using my stuff bud I appreciate it a lot!
No those are just pre diluted 4:1 so you can run em right through a foam cannon or normal downstream injector. You would save the pail once empty, add four gallons water and one gallon concentrate to refill em, that keeps the cost as low as I can get it
Hi this touchless soap is good for cars is ceramic coat on that I have a mobile detailing business, interest to buy the products but I need more informed
So the main thing is actually the gallons per minute, the spec I use is 2400psi@3.5gpm usually, more gpm gives more power and faster washing and rinsing while not presenting as much danger as higher psi does. I've used 3600psi@8gpm without damaging a thing though, because it's all about not getting too close to the surface lol
What if you used a scale to measure out how much of the product is used. We know 1gal has 128oz, weighing it after would show the total of ounces used. Cool Idea.🤔
