You did a beautiful job on my fiancé’s truck! Thank you it made him so happy and proud😊 you are extremely talented and great at what you do. To add on you are great to your customers and we all appreciate that!
Unashamedly washing from the bottom to top, with complete disregard for the minds blowing all across the digital universe! You're a bad man, Bob. Never change
I just tuned up my '15 F450 with a bunch of your stuff. Your awesome sauce works like a champ. I need to get my hands on some of that snake oil for the next wash. Great job guys! I'm over in the Worcester area so I love that you guys are a local Mass company!
You got it wrong. Your claim to fame is your attitude and approach. Not many places treat their new customers the way that you do. You treat everyone like you’ve known them for years and that’s what will keep your business growing. There are a lot of products out there that work. However I’m working on changing my supplies over to your products because of the reason above.
I've been using stars and stripes for a while now on my f150. 20 minutes and I'm done with an electric pressure washer which is much lower psi and gpm than you use. The key is to have a good slippery protectant on the vehicle and frequent washes like you said. The longer things sit on the paint, the harder they are to get off, even with hand washing. I used to dread washing a bigger vehicle until I tried stars and stripes. Now I can wash every week or so and be done in a matter of minutes.
That’s cool to hear, I do get told quite frequently by people with 110v machines that they are getting good results, I think your right about the protectant and frequency for sure
I have been detailing vehicles for 45+ years looking for the best way to break down dirt and grime quickly, mainly as my "pre-wash" stage, but also during those times when you don't want to do a full bucket wash. The only problem with Chem-X I have seen so far is the astronomically high prices for the products. $109.00 for two gallons of product!?! That's too high, no matter how good this product works. There are way too many other options out there that would probably be as effective. I currently have Wash Chems as my pre-wash/touchless wash product and it works fantastic and it's a single product system. I would still like to try this system and the other Chem-X products such as Liquid-X, Snake Oil, and a few others. I'm just not willing to pay $350 for the sample pack. That's CRAZY!
You do realize that both stars and stripes are mixed 4 parts water to 1 part stars and 1 part stripes. So essentially you are getting 5 gallons of each. Doesn't sound so expensive now does it?
International fan .. so I thought of trying some of Chem-X products .. Bought S&S and 10 sponge “bricks” and shipped to a freight forwarder -that forwards it to me abroad- .. Stars and Stripes leaked so they had to discard it .. and I only got 1 not 10 Bricks .. I love you Bob and I support you .. but customer services needs attention
Man that’s a real bummer to hear, shipper must have roughed it up pretty bad we vacuum seal each bottle individually, what did my team say to you about it though?
Yo! I've been looking into this further, there is just no mention on the stars and stripes leak in your email thread my team did not know about that part, but otherwise they seemed very prompt on the bricks issue with a refund for ya. I'll reach out to you directly and see what we can do on getting some more Stars and Stripes I'd love to see what you think of em.
Have you ever looked into a DI water system for the final rinse to combat the hard water. You should be able to skip drying altogether with it. I'm going to pick up one of the small systems for washing at home.
It looks like he has a DI system. I have been wondering how much he uses it though because with the amount of gallons of water he goes through would be using up the life of that resin real quick
I do have the spot free rinse DI tanks but I haven’t really used them much, I’m afraid to lol my machine will burn through that resin in about 80 minutes😳
Since your stars is a low level acid could you mitt wash the first step to help get the hard water spots off body and windows or is it truly touch less
That's a good flow rate, you'll just want to stay close with the psi maybe use the green nozzle so you can get some width on the pattern and thoroughly scrub with the psi@@BigDeertz
yoo hey question.. can you apply snake oil to dry surface to further increase durability of the application? it'd be a great video.. do it! n let us know lol thnks u r the best
That's a good question, putting it on dry and really clean surface would probably help it grab the vehicle better, I generally put it on wet though because my goal is to speed up the whole process and I also want to prevent water spots from forming which is one of the biggest perks of snake oil for me
@@ChemX yes totally get it but just to see ...if it doesn't do much more than spraying in wet then forget it. but if it lasts way longer and makes the contactless way even easier , one could get away with applying it even more diluted as it's already on there., you're just doing a quick mist n rinse to top up on the existing layer. ? interesting indeed. keep up the great content. can't wait til the next video
I have a prototype we can try on that, reach out to my guys at orders@chem-x.com and shoot them a screenshot of this convo so that I can get in touch with you directly to send some out and get your feedback if your down for that
Got a question. Parents bought me a few of your products I’ve been wanting to try for Easter lol. I tried out Heavy duty. I diluted it properly and used it straight and it did absolutely nothing.. I also was gifted snake oil and it only lasted one wash.. could I be doing something wrong?
Nice that was cool of them, let’s get you dialed in. Can you tell me more about how you used the heavy duty first? What we’re you trying to get clean and what did you do after applying it undiluted?
@@ChemX I was trying to clean the wheels on my pickup truck with heavy duty. I clean them often so there really wasn’t anything but normal buildup on the wheels. First I used it diluted, nothing. Then used it un concentrated and it did nothing still. Both times I used my 3000psi 2.3gpm pressure washer to make it a “touch less” wash like it’s shown in the videos
I use this on anything from my jeep to trucks and quads or my motorcycle or my buddies cars, my customers use it on anything they can think of it’s very flexible
You guys need to try out the EGO 765CFM Blower from Lowe's. It's absolutely the strongest blower I've ever used. And you can get a stubby nozzle with a rubber tip to be safe around the paint. You WON'T regret it! Also, have you ever tried stacking (layering) the 🐍 🛢 and see if that works?
I have yeah there is so much Sio2 in it though thats it's pretty much 100% slippery on the first pass so can't see a perk to it myself lol@@94muddertrucker

Ive got a black Silverado RST with the baby Duramax and the S&S always makes it look nice!
Man that’s great to hear, it’s not easy to get a good finish on a black vehicle with no contact Stars and Stripes has always impressed me on that too
Love your videos man. I need to bring you my 08 FJ Cruiser and get it tuned up!
Absolutely send me some shots to orders@chem-x.com let’s get in touch 😁
Man I wish you were in central pa I’d have you do my truck and my wife’s jeep twice a month another awesome video
Love it! Nice work. 👊🏻🔨😎

Thank you yeah this one cleaned up nice it did help that it only has 7000 miles on it too though lol
I do alot of my families cars with stars and stripes with snake oil sealant saves me so much time.
Super great to hear that thank you for using my soaps!
Gonna have to get this stuff for my trucking fleet!

Shouldn’t silicon spray be kept away from disc pads and rotors?
Probably, that's easily avoidable though

Hi love your channel. Could you please send me information on your steam cleaner that you use ? And better yet do you sell them ?
Thank you I don’t sell them but this is where I bought mine right here: chiefsteamer.com/product/chief-steamer-155-240-volt/

I don’t have any plans to head over there this year no

That snake oil is pretty damn sudsy for a silica product !
It’s not bad but I’d love for it to be a bit foamier still
