YES! I run a vac truck full time and have been wanting to see you clean one because I know (first hand) how dirty they can get. They usually see more dirt than the average OTR truck and can be a whole chore to get looking right. Thanks Bob! 🙌
I operate a vac truck and not only is the vac truck caked in dirt on everything on the inside and outside it also got my car looking like the same way. It's by far one of the dirtiest jobs out there.
What you see is what you get and nothing else. Honesty has always been a great asset and quality is paramount. There is no reason to use anything else, unless you want a white deposit on aluminum from the heavy alkaline products. Have fun with it!
everything from the shop itself to equipment and chemistry looks as professional and efficient as possible, exciting content! i would work a day for free enjoying all the detailing gear
This line of new content actually got me interested.. I'm following a lot of detailers on youtube, and I'm kind of a detail maniac myself on my daily and hobby cars.. I'm a mechanic, and often deal with the utility vehicles of our city.. they are mostly run down 20year old garbage trucks, plows , curb cleaners , that kind of stuff.. I was always interested about how they would look after a thorough treatment by a pro after all these years of neglect.. keep these coming 😀👍
I will say I remember I rather have a filthy car or truck to clean then a cleaner car. When you have something that's really filthy people can see the difference and the work you did to clean it and make it look new then a clean car that's going to basically look the same. I like that detailing brush that you have hooked up to the Milwaukee M12 screw gun. Does a great job getting into all areas.
One of my first jobs was working for a auto detailing business and then opened up my own business. Right now at work for the town Sanitation and I drive either a Mack or a International with a rear loader for residential neighborhoods. But you can see witch trucks are mine because I cannot stand a dirty truck so I'm always cleaning it. You don't have a easy job cleaning other people's vehicles. I will say you have some nice tools for the job. 🙏
From some someone that would like to buy your products I really liked it when you showed on the video what you where using and when. Please also add just water rinse. Your videos need to be a big infomercial. It's cool watching but, most of us want to know how to do this at home. Thanks for sharing!
Love your honesty man. I have extensive experience doing industrial tank and vessel cleaning in the oil and gas industry. Our fleets get run hard down hundreds of miles of industrial (gravel/mud) roads. I know what it takes too clean a vac truck and its no small task. Something i do 3-4 times a week typically. I have no idea what causes the streaking you see but i see it as well up in Albeerta. You need some distribution up here man.
Personally when it comes to cleaning an engine (not for removal or overhaul but general cleaning) i generally opt to use a garden hose over any sort of pressure cleaner. Still gotta be cautious about electronics or openings but you dont have to fret about damaging seals or gaskets. Degrease/apc, agitate with a mild bristle 360° brush, soak er down with more degreaser/apc, dwell, agitate, rinse, repeat until desired finish is achieved, one final flushing rinse and some agitation with a clean brush to remove any remaining cleaner residue which may etch or streak, blow dry. Bit more time consuming but its worth it just in case imo.
I'm sure someone mentioned it already but the important looking guarded switch is the interaxle lock. It's an air switch that when toggled engages the front drive axle to help pull along with the rear drive axle. It's the big truck equivalent of 4x4. On heavier spec'd trucks it's usually beside two other guarded switches that engage the differential locks for the two drive axles.
wouldn't matter if you did hit it with water really. you can run an engine underwater as long as you don't get water in the air intake. that's why most landrovers have snorkels
I use the mini ik foamers for wheels. I do regular auto detailing. So. One wheel at a time its perfect. And also for foaming rinseless wash such as ammo frothe. One panel at a time.
Bob, how about investing in a good set of drill brush attachments for the bigger parts of the floor. A combination of larger soft bristle brush for larger areas of the floor with the smaller brush for tighter areas would in my opinion increase your efficiency I feel. Give it a thought if possible. And amazing content as usual ❤️
by the way, do you have a under the vehicle spray nuzzles? Being retire military we had heavy duty spray nuzzle wands that we could control from a lever from inside the control room at the bird bath.
I have been trying to convince our company to try your products. We have Vactors, a different form of this truck. They get extremely dirty, they spend most of there time working rather than being driven.
Wish I could get the Ok to bring one of our RR trucks down there for you to do. Id love to see how Heavy Duty does on layered on rail/rust grime. It's almost impossible to get off
Hey I don't know if you'll see this or heck anyone with recommendations I got a car that's got a crap ton of concrete residue in it(used to work at concrete plant) got any recommendations on getting it out
If you would please, I would like to discuss shop layout and equipment used in your videos. I have been a subscriber for awhile and the last 6 months I have been in negotiations with a net lease business to open a niche carwash, for everything with a motor that one takes pride in. As such, I would like to build about 2 or 3 bays similar to your setup and equip it exactly like yours, your equipment and everything. So please, let us talk about this into a chain.
Love how detailed u are! But I would be afraid to break the electronics with the spray like the seat controls and other switches u were scrubbing unless I knew they were waterproof

That’s why I’ll keep buying your products- they work and you’re actually HONEST IN YOUR VIDEOS!!!
Honest in his videos about his own products is what I like, so I'll be getting some in the future too

You should try your Stars and Stripes with a hot water setup and see if that takes it even further!

Love the idea of using the detail brush with the drill!

Dude! Absolutely love your vids just trying to find out why you have literally EVERYTHING 😂 I love your setup man!
I got the ik 1.5 a while ago and while it is definitely too small to do anything big, I find it super useful for cleaning mountain bikes
Hey man, It works great and without any problems.
I use the mini ik foamers for wheels. I do regular auto detailing. So. One wheel at a time its perfect. And also for foaming rinseless wash such as ammo frothe. One panel at a time.

Foam pro 2 could be good for bikes
Damn that vac truck is spotless compared to mine. Come out to las vegas and you can clean mine. You'll be in for a treat. make for some great content.
I have been trying to convince our company to try your products. We have Vactors, a different form of this truck. They get extremely dirty, they spend most of there time working rather than being driven.
It ain't that bad, that truck is pretty new...give it 2-3 years, they won't bother anymore.

Can all of your products be used on regular size car and trucks or is just for big rigs?
Wear did get the brush for the drill
Can you show your Ridgid vacuum extractor setup?

Great job I only have one question where are you located
Oh yesssss!! 😍
Looks good
Hey I don't know if you'll see this or heck anyone with recommendations I got a car that's got a crap ton of concrete residue in it(used to work at concrete plant) got any recommendations on getting it out

Is there any way I can get orders shipped to Hawaii?
A Big Rig with proper batteries should last hours with dome or even running lights on at least in my experience.
You could just have a nice long hose on the compressor and hook it to the little bottle for INFINITE FOAM 🤪
What did you charge for this job?
Praise God. Looks nice. God Bless in Jesus Christ Name Amen.
Reach out to winwaste sanitation to clean a front end loader
I've seen many cars never a freaking truck.
