Firefox is a privacy nightmare. The settings you check in the menu to ensure said privacy don't actually do what they're supposed to. Take fingerprinting for example even if you check strict tracking protection on the desktop version go to about:config and look for privacy.resistfingerprint it will be set to false...soooooo......... As of 8/27/20 they have eliminated the about:config for the mobile version which basically eliminates privacy and being non monetized. Other privacy issues such as indicating in the settings you don't want autocomplete/search suggestions as you type is ignored (turn it off and try typing amaz it will auto complete to amazon.com), the push for you to add everything to top sites or home page and to sync your tabs all while burying addons under several layers of menus. I love firefox, i use an imac and ive found that chrome ran so slowly and it really began to bug me. i switched to firefox and it is amazing and fast. Loved the import passwords and bookmarks feature from other browsers.
Thanks for another great video. As you can see, the DoH is routing all DNS requests through Cloudflare, which means they still have visibility into your DNS activity. However, local ISPs are blind to these requests. (I know you mentioned that is a whole topic by it self).
Personally, I don't bother with deleting history/cookies because it also disconnects me from several websites I use on a regular basis. For example, every time I close my browser and re-open it to check my Gmail account, I have to open my password manager, put in the credentials of said account, go and grab my phone, input the SMS code I just received (2-step verification), and then I can log in. I have to do this through different websites, every time history/cookies are deleted. I'm used to closing my browser on a regular basis (because sometimes I'm gaming and I want minimal stuff in the background hogging resources) and this can become a veritable pain in the rear to do all the time. So if you're like me, leave these two options alone unless you're in an unsafe location or need to share your device with someone else.

I'm in IT and know all these things but out of convenience (Chrome IS fast and Mac OS Key Chain is SO convenient) I've let my privacy guard down a bit. These videos have made me take a new course entirely. Lock it down ... don't give big data a thing - or at least make them work harder for it ! Thank you again.
Nice tutorial, thanks man!
I love firefox, i use an imac and ive found that chrome ran so slowly and it really began to bug me. i switched to firefox and it is amazing and fast. Loved the import passwords and bookmarks feature from other browsers.
Very clear presentation! I am rather new to Firefox, but after seeing this, I will probably switch to that. Thanks a lot.
Thanks for another great video. As you can see, the DoH is routing all DNS requests through Cloudflare, which means they still have visibility into your DNS activity. However, local ISPs are blind to these requests. (I know you mentioned that is a whole topic by it self).
Thanks for the recommendations.
Thanks!! you help me a lot
Good knowledge sharing. I have firefox setting in my hope pc , setting like bookmark etc. How can I get the same settings in my office PC ?
Thanks, it helped me a lot.
Love the way u explain things wonderful
Thanks for the push!
