Mike Terry -- Yup, You're Correct! But, I've looked back through the RUclips stuff, and I don't think I saw them this year. I am an Old School Guy, so I like their style of playing Best. I really like the controlled sticking and Super Clean Style Much Better than the high sticking, every note is for visual effects style.

This organization is not utilizing the chops this line has to offer. These guy’s hands could play way more advanced parts. That’s what happens when you use the line as an accessory to the horns and winds. These parts are like a marching pit with no groove or memorable parts. These snare players must have been bored as hell with the parts the instructor gave them. I was class of 01 and played snare, the guys I played with in our snare line over 20 years ago could have played this at a 10th grade level.

They were probably dented, which isn't hard to do. I was watching PR's basses late at night in Rockford and their fourth bass put a dent in the head they had just put on fresh that day. Crown might be getting bass heads to match the drum finish during championships.
