Cavaliers have always had superb bass drum tuning! It's a combination of using drums that have larger gaps in diameter from drum-to-drum but also tuning intervals. They typically used 4ths, which always gives a nice, clean, tonal separation.
Would it be possible for anyone that is inclined in the realm of sound design/recording that could take the mp3s of all these videos and boost the hell out of the midrange and bass that these videos lack?

Always underrated the Cavalier's never disappoint! Super clean and lot's of variety. It's nice to see that there is still a quality drum line in today's world! I'm sick of all the dancing and fluff that directors have forced into the DCI drum lines. Leave the dancing and theatre to the guard and stick to good old "Clean" rudimentary percussion!
