There is no way these guys should be mentioned as possible winners of the Sanford this year. If SCV had not won then I would have lost the last bit of faith I have in the judging process. As it is Finals in 2016 produced some what-the-fuck moments. Some lines were ranked higher than what I thought they deserved (Bloo, Cavies), and some were criminally under-ranked (BK being the most egregious case).
+Inspadave SCV was damn good this year, and they showed up cleaner on finals night and deserved the award. But the near perfect runs we had on prelims, semis, and finals weren't worthy of being .05 points behind SCV and the Fred Sanford award? Or am I just an idiot with a terrible ear that happened to somehow get a spot on the Bluecoats snareline?
This is honestly the best book they've had since 2012
Last year was pretty good too.
2008 was better
Eh, last year was my personal fav, along w 2012
yay! I'm glad I'm not alone on the 2012 book. I love that show.
+Hayden Richards he said since 2012 dumb dumb
Bluecoats are winning this year for sure. LET'S GO BLOOOOO!!!!
Yup
called it xD
3:46 Those moeller singles are insane. I wait for that every time I see the show.
Yeah and they're so well executed. That's a hard passage too because of the pauses.
Amazingly clean! Simply the best. BLOOOOOO
This tenor line is unbelievable.
you guys pulled it off and took home gold. I called it from the first time I heard the show
FINALLY! Bluecoats videos are the best on this channel!!
I'm in love with their top 2 basses and the tenor line omg
Wow they are AMAZING!!!!!!
I was at this lottt
1:43 listen to the tenor solo in .75 speed, it sounds so cool
One of the snares got ahold of some Diablo sauce at a recent tour stop for that ending! My ears just had to run to the bathroom...
That clarity... Oh my
HOLY FUCK THIS IS SO CLEAN
Were you able to get a Bluecoats 2016 Flam Jam?

4:12 bass rolls got me shitn maself

does anyone have a transcription of the snare break?
I do. Check it out on page 159 (i believe) of snarescience's wgi/dci transcriptions
+Luke Zuniga you are a God my sir.
+Grant Horn Could you PM me on what's wrong? I'd like to fix it. Thanks
+Luke Zuniga The one on snare science might be older. It looks like they changed parts of the snare break based on the original transcription I saw
I love the bluecoats they're the best but snare left of center came in early at 1:19
Old comment, but every other snare in the line steps at the time.
BLOOOOOOOOOOO
Where's bear!?!?!
2:35? 2 outside center on the right? wrong foot? come on Matt Allen

+Kyle Tsuchiya boom roasted
+Kyle Tsuchiya I do not know if you're an idiot or not, but the self assessment of your performance over the weekend is off.
Is the guy on set rockin a mullet?!?!?
That's Roger Carter (the caption head) and no its just a glorious ponytail.
+Alex Frank saw him in person a couple of weeks ago
Don't like the guy keeping time on the drum kit. It covers up what the line is doing.
