I was at this concert when it was filmed in Denver, Colorado in February 1988. This was the second night at McNichols Arena. The opening act was Tesla. I was 16 and went there with my brother. It was so energetic!
Oh my god o read your post and I felt something very powerfuul. In my soul.... Your very luky... Im from Chile and I Just saw def leppard in 2017.love them sin e I was 13 now im 46... And they always will be my best!
@@Amy-br2me no I didn't. I was a teen. I was barely old enough to drive to the concert. My brother and I were far from the stage. I was a powerful concert. God bless.
For those of you who may not know Phil and Steve were dubbed the "terror twins" back in the day. They were at times inseparable especially when Phil still enjoyed a bit of the drop. I miss Steve, we were born just a week a part. I hope he found the peace he longed for here on earth.
Randy Brindle That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this spawned in Denver that night!
That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. Everything he did on his Les Paul was extremely smart and ingenious. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this solo of his spawned in Denver that night!
my Heart is completely broken that Steve Clark is dead every time I watch this it makes me miss him so much and I cry every time his name is brought up. Because he is my favorite musician of all time not just just favorite Def Leppard member! Words cant describe my love for him. I love you Steve Clark always and forever! RIP 🤘🏻🎸😘💔😭
This may be my favorite Def Leppard track. I also prefer this live version then the studio version. Sounds a lot more organic, especially the guitar duel between Steve Clark and Phil Collin. One of Def Leppard’s most underrated songs.
Best song of Def Leppard's long and illustrious career...so Led Zeppelin-esque. Steve freakin' kills it and every single one of the boys is every inch a rock star in this video. Can't watch it enough!
That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this spawned in Denver that night!
Steve Clarke was on absolute fire in this song, his guitar tone is sensational. This was simply some of his finest work, what a song but that guitar work is sublime.
Katya Lacrua That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this spawned in Denver that night!
The is the Def Leppard song I always keep going back to. One of the best deep cuts on any album ever. Steve Clark at his best. Def Leppard was never as creatively good after he passed away.
That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this spawned in Denver that night!
Without Steve it's not the same band Steve was the best guitarist on def leppard the most I enjoyed hearing him on the high and dray album that 90% guitar compositions he composed a pity he died he was very talented
Without Steve it's not the same band Steve was the best guitarist on def leppard the most I enjoyed hearing him on the high and dray album that 90% guitar compositions he composed a pity he died he was very talented
What a performance....what a band ...this is live...music is angelic folks...an example....& brought something to the table...fucking def leppard..what an inspiration 4 me...I been Playin 25 years...many bands they part of fuel to my fire...
Saw them on this tour at the Cow Palace in Daly City (SF) First time seeing them live and wow the vocals were top notch and to see Rick Allen (my drum idol) back behind the kit in the “round” was awesome! The laser show was pretty cool too but the sound was so clear that you could hear everything.
I seen this guy's in concert two times. And in 1978 or 79 they first come out with the on thu the night blew me away in sophomore years high-school. That's Dana for introducing this to me that summer.
Saw one of the three sold out shows at Omni Atlanta. There was a monster pyrotech explosion after the warlike intro to this song, but it didn’t make this clip. That explosion blew my mind, and remains the top concert experience I’ve ever had.
This is such an excellent song y’all look super hot back then and even though you don’t run around the stage much anymore Joe you’re still a hottie and you guys can rocket keep up the most excellent work I’ll see you in 2019 is your concert rocked this year in 2018 and all the other ones before that
MSgirl That solo from Steve Clark was an absolute, epic metal masterpiece. Everything he did on his Les Paul was extremely smart and ingenious. I wonder how many overnight, serious guitar students this solo of his spawned in Denver that night!
Best song by Def Leppard IMHO. Loved it when I bought the album in 1982 (I think?) and love it even more now. Awesome live performance! The long instrumental solo is among my faves.

“he is the shadow that is a following you” Def Leppard, bless you for being such a godly band! They definitely burned out. Still live today in fact, I don’t think they’ve burnt completely just yet hahaha. Keep on rolling!
one of favorite songs from Pyromania; it’s a pity the early death of Clark, Def Leppard lost part of the magic when he departed, very underrated guitarist
People think of Steve as a rythem player but he’s a great lead player as well. Not a shredder or anything but who cares he’s got great feel and that’s all you really need. He’s got plenty of chops. The album version of this is all Steve so Phil is mostly just playing Steve’s parts.
A metal class for the avenged sevenfold because they have no clue. They sucks !!! Def Leppard metal gods and real Legends !!! Steve Clark one of the best ever, rip !!! Phil Collen one of the best live guitar players.
What kind of a dumb comment is this? Complete different style of music. Avenged Sevenfold are technically better but Def Leppard are more soulful. Which they lost when Clark died. Just like how Avenged Sevenfold lost what made them great when the rev died. Its easy to bad mouth other bands but you are forgetting that Leppard are just a soft rock band now. They made 2 heavy metal albums. Thats it. The rest is soft
Yes Steve Clark, the reason I wanted to watch this live video and whoever edited it is an idiot, they did everything they could to cut him out even during his solo which was really good they kept switching over to Phil all over the place with him running out and around shirtless doing nothing…
Steve really did know how to make great guitar riffs!
Damn I can't stop listening to this song. It must be Steve Clarke"s amazing talent.
Clark
@@abigailcunningham379 lol Asshole Cheers

Steve Clark is a one of a kind, he just walked all around the group tearing up that guitar! Riff master, RIP.
