      I was so young when he died that I forget how young he was when he died. 30 years old, he was still a baby. Almost more tragic in hindsight. I found out about his death when I was a very young kid and had posters on the wall and such.

      Nah. Hysteria is your average, generic 80s glam metal. It has some decent songs, but its nowhere NEAR as good as On Through the Night or High N Dry. Just my opinion.

    • @funfreq9282
      @funfreq9282 4 года назад +3

      It was a poppy and bubblegum FM Radio hit machine. High & Dry and Pyro were the best Albums by a long shot from a Hard Rock standpoint! Those recording kicked you in the face. Hysteria is the Album that everyone listened to after they got married and had kids.

    1988, Bramlage Coliseum, Manhattan, Kansas. She was the love of my young life. She came up from her school and met me at my apartment. She was a gorgeous 80s girl, ripped jeans, big hair beautiful eyes. We pre gamed at the apartment, then to the show which was spectacular. Then back to my place...but it wasn't to be. She is still one of my best friends. I loved her then, I love her now. Hysteria brings it all back. Can't stop this feeling. Can't stop this fight. Hysteria when you're near.

I used to play it on, in my day a ghetto blaster in the halls of my high school at lunch time. Nobody but me even knew who they were then. As I live in Utah I tell folk's who come here to set their time machines back 10 year's as we were that far behind the world. Lol ! On Through the Night Album was how I found out about them. There used to be a chain of stores called The Record Bar and the District manager was a family friend. So I got first crack at all the great promo. Albums etc. Thanks for the flashback ! ✌from Utah.

    Ahhhh yes the days of raw rock & roll with no autotune or pre-recorded tracks. Boy do I miss them days when you actually needed tallent to play live. Best part is, these guys are still doing it.

    1st gig I ever went to, SFX hall, Dublin. I remember joe Elliott turning up at the front entrance (the stage door was only accessible from the front gates) about 10minutes before Tesla were due on and everyone rocking his car to the point where I thought they were going to turn the car over. My cousin Deirdre caught one of Steve's plec's that he threw to the crowd. What at great night, remember it like yesterday.
