First of all that's one beautiful Charvel ! I had a metal guitar pick once upon a time I had a necklace made out of it the pick was Warren D Martinez I lost it ! Second that isn't a easy song to play and you didn't miss a lick !! You sure did Steve justice on his solos !! I think this is one of the best guitar duo solos ever !!! Your one heck of a player !!!
I’m always taken aback that when I hear/see a live cover by you that there’s always so much trem use. It’s something I always took for granted on the “in the round” footage.
I’ve had some comments saying Steve didn’t use a trem or didn’t need too as if it’s sacrilege to use one. He uses it quite a lot at this concert. I’ve never felt it as a negative that some have and it’s a shame it can be seen like that.

I've seen DL interviews where they say that Steve was a sloppy player and that Phil was the technician. I like Steve's solos better. He also came up with the guitar part for Too Late for Love.
Yes, and I think it’s a poor choice of word but I don’t see it as negative also. Steve was certainly not as ‘technical’ as Phil but he had a creative flair that was unmatched. 😁

I never realized how much this song is based around musical modulation on the guitar. Moving the same chords up and down the guitar neck.
A lot of Steve Clark stuff makes clever use of modulations.

Probably Steve’s. But I’ve learned so much from all the guys, Viv and Pete included, and they all have fun solos.
