This is by far their best overall live performance + set list . Sucks cos lep has so many good songs. They play mostly the same setlist though. Love the “Have you ever needed someone so bad” they play at this show. And you are right this version of Rocket Kicks ass!!! By far the best.

The tone of Vivian’s Anderson guitar in this is out of this world. The dueling solos is by far one of my favorite performances by my favorite guitarists, who just happen to be in my favorite band.
I love how even back then they were working hard and running computer sequencing for lights and sound effects but still performed their asses off. No autotune! No backing tracks! No shitty dancers and crappy outfits! Genuine talent and musicianship!

Backing tracks are not bad they uplift the vocals as long as there's no pitch correction and the singer is actually singing and then maybe backing tracks for the huge harmonies which I think a lil bit was added here too you just don't hear it there's just four singers it can't be that huge😅

This is a great live version of Rocket. But I saw Def Leppard live In the early 90's (91 or 92) and Rick did an awesome drum solo during Rocket as his podium rose in the air. Out of all the concerts I've seen (and there have been many) that one concert was THE best I have ever seen. Of course, that was back when you could AFFORD to see a concert.
The section beginning at 3:22 is a core memory for me. I was 10 years old, on top of my Dads shoulders just having my mind blown by the sound and the complete control of the crowd they had. Something about the groove and everyone clapping along has stayed with me all this time and I learned to play drums off the back of it. My Dad passed away a couple of years ago but I come here a lot to listen and be transported right back into this memory. Thanks for posting

Joe was having some more trouble with his vocals from like 2012-2014 but by 2015 he had somehow like rebooted his voice. Every time he has some difficulty keeping his vocals consistent he changes them in some way and makes it work. It's amazing to be honest.

Chris Young yeah, I also saw them on this tour. September, 1993 in Pittsburgh. Then, 25 years later, I saw them again in pittsburgh, June of this year. They still ROCK. Journey sounded TERRIBLE but Lep was AMAZING!
I remember the 7 day weekend tour in 93. Saw them twice. Once at Reunion Arena in Dallas. During Rocket, Sav would get in the riser with Rick and it would go up and in past interviews Sav would always say he was scared of heights so he would back up against Rick. Epic fucking version of this song. I had this on VHS and wore it out. Its 2018 and i will see Leppard in Dallas, San Antonio and Hawaii this year. Show number #59, #60 & #61
As many others I LOVE this performance. Clear to see the Leps were inspired playing at home and it gave them a whole new edge. Sav's bass sound is to die for and Allen's drumming is spot on. Good that see that they got a bit more limelight than usual.
I have seen this band 16 times since 1983 when Uriah Heep opened for them to this last concert when Heart opened for them. They are just that damn good. This with out a doubt is the best live version of a song I have ever heard or seen in person.
