The guitar duet of Vivian and Phil in Love Bites is so beautiful, just can't describe it, brings tears to my eyes. When you can create such a song, as a band, you are absolutely premier league. Def Leppard started out as a bunch of working class kids from Sheffield during the late 70's, and evolved into the world's greatest rockband EVER...

It's never too late to follow your dreams. There's only room for regrets and could have beens. I had a child. I didn't spend money on expensive clothes, toys or electronics. We spent our money showing him the world. At 5 he got tubes in his ears. Him and the boy beside him were trying to decide who had been to the best places or who's Dad had the best job. My kid won because I was a firefighter. His mom stayed home. He won for best places because they had been to Germany. But- we were leaving in 30 days for Honolulu, so it was a toss up. We showed him cultures , respect and nature. I made the earth and every part of it we saw his classroom. Today he's too busy for me. It's hard after being told his Dad and I gave him a great childhood. I want the best for him as a Dad too. Maybe due to the dysfunction in our families we tried to protect him from, there is no adult child or growing grandchildren in my life. I hate that thought. It's painful, but it too is a lesson I taught myself for safety and maybe him accidentally by extension. IDK. I do know it will be a sorrow in my heart until I pass beyond the veil. But I still have a plan for Salem and I. Pax
I was at this gig and have to say all 4 bands were brilliant . Terrorvision , ugly kid Joe and thunder were on before the lepps . I've seen Def leppard a number of times since and have to say they have never sounded as good as they did on this day . Every one of them were on point . They were awesome . Long live the lepps
Lead singer of Ugly kid Joe stood near the railings after his slot. No on spoke with him. Terror vision were doing an interview in the seats back of the stadium. Drummer waived at me (I didn't know who they were at that point) and Thunder ooooohbso good
26 years ago. It's time to be a soldier somewhere in Korea. Every member was so young that they looked much energetic. Especially phil wasn't naked so he looked far younger. Joe's shouting was so powerful and deeper. At that time Vivian's soloing was closer to Dio era than DL. In watching this , tears are falling down to be glad to appreciate this fucking awesome thing. Thanks for uploading.

I don’t know a whole lot about what the band was like during this era but they all seem to be genuinely having a great time together. You can’t say that about very man groups. Great chemistry 🤘🏼
You have to also take into consideration the fact that Def Leppard could have lost drummer Rick Allen to a DEVASTATING car accident..he survived but the price he paid was losing his arm..(as well as other personal obstacles) ..Joe and the band stayed TRUE AND LOYAL to Rick by waiting for him to fully recover (physically and emotionally) before doing any more recording/touring....then FINALLY, came the release of the album Hysteria and the tour...I had the privilege to see that concert...and let me tell ya..,we the fans blew the roof off cheering and screaming for Def Leppard and most importantly Rick's TRIUMPHANT comeback...in my opinion it CEMENTED their longevity as a band...then tragically Steve Clarke died from an overdose...Once again the band had to deal with adversity with the shocking death of their bandmate/friend...once again..they stuck together..and eventually added Vivian to their group...the Adrenalize album was eventually released and tour was announced..I went to that concert and it was as much of a blast for me as the concert for the Hysteria Tour...These guys don't have giant egos..sure they probably had their moments like any band does...but they love each as if they are brothers and that (in my opinion) is what has kept them together all these years...Def Leppard forever as far as I'm concerned ❤️

@@Ricardo-cl3vs I was born in 1972 and to me the 80's are way better than the 90's
@@rickaccurso
Hey, we were born in the same year! Well, let's agree to disagree then. Both decades have their pros and cons and I prefer the 90s. That way I can still enjoy some of the great 80s Metal and Pop music and also have 90s Techno, Independent Rock music and Grunge, which I love. 😉
Yeh, specifically, Glastonbury 95. Fun Times.
I was seventeen when this happened! Taped it on VHS and watched it until the tape broke! Still the best concert in the world. Man, I miss being that young.

my beautiful wife and I got to see def leppard live in regina sask last night and let me tell you...those guys vocals are insane!!! excuse my swearing but what a fuckin band!!!I'm a touring drummer myself and have been drumming for 30 years and to see a 1 armed man do a drum solo made me see the power of the human spirit and the power of music....what a band!!!
+Dale Maguire , Seen them a couple times... Adrenalize , in the round, only 5,000 people, small venue and they did a live video, make love like a man... did the song twice... pretty awesome show..
AMEN
Love your comment man, because I could feel that excitement one gets the days after a good show. Looking forward to my next show, whatever it will be - on either side of the stage!
They don't Call him the "Thunder God" for nothing, believe me on that one !
I love Def Leppard, but the backing vocals are mostly pre-recorded
Phil Collen is the most underrated guitarist in all of rock. He’s a monster.
Hes great in concert
Underrated? By who? 🤣🤡
He’s a ninja warrior rock god.
Indeed ❣️
I think that Vivian Campbell is more underrated than Phill, if you look at Campbell's performances in Dio and Whitesnake, he is much more technical than Phill.

One of my early days of roughnecking
Not really ..llhard to argue but late 70s the raw sound and heavier music was …..well….wasted, rock. Rigade
No way. Steve Clark was the Leppard’s prime
@@derekrichards9418 yeah wouldn’t take me much to agree….their first album was there best….saw them do that at the Aragon in Chicago…..so could agree with you on that
Great to see all crowds hands clapping in air without cell phones ♥️♥️
All of them so fortunate to not know what was coming with the cell phone and social media. Back when HS parties were a blast, crazy, and no photos to post.

The guitarsolo in Hysteria is also heavenly, like a cool summerbreeze !
Me too,I was at this concert aged 15 and watching them play this stunning version of Love Bites as sun went down is ingrained in my memory as being just a magical experience
@@Doodlebug78 I can fully understand that this experience must have been magical for you, and you will remember that moment for the rest of your life for sure. When you can make that happen, as a band, you have achieved greatness.

I saw DL at The Summit in Houston, Tx. It was on the Adrenalize tour. They played in the round. It was freaking amazing.
I went to their Adrenalize tour show!! I LOVED IT!!! It was just as awesome as the Hysteria tour show too!!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
These guys have stood the test of time. One of the best heavy metal bands of all time. Love watching live concerts loud and proud. Have grown up listening to guys since I was a kid. I’m 59 now and they sound good as ever. Rock on
I met this girl in 1981 or 2 and asked her to go to this new bands concert in portland oregon. They were call Def Leppard. I wish I would have gone and seen them. Great band.
Omg has anyone seen how Vivian never stops smiling? He is really having a good time up there, i love that man!

I had Adrenalised on audio cassette tape which I grew up on. Well in 2004, a friend borrowed it during our end-of-year class party and never gave it back. I miss those cd and cassette tape days.
I've seen a lot of bands in my lifetime and Def Leppard is like one of the most crowd-pleasing bands I have ever seen from scorpions to John fogerty and numerous bands in between they Rock just my opinion
Greatest band of all time hands down. Still rockin in 2022!!
Been Jammin out to Def Leppard all day today! Going to their concert tonight at Chase Field downtown Phoenix! To be honest I wasn't really into rock until I met my wife. She introduced me to a lot genre of music I normally would've probably never listened to.
This is a nice walk down memory lane. One of my fantasies has been to get an all-girl group together to make a tribute band and call ourselves "Blind Tigress."
After yrs of rockin the world, home town finally cave in n came to a gig, shame shame shame Sheffield sorry sob alright alright alright alright alright

Was there among the 10s of thousands , when they came on the songs could be heard clearly miles n miles away in treeton and catcliffe. The bass n volume I reckon was unlimited (or much higher than aloud today) powered by Turbo Sound TMS subs made in rotherham, I believe. Shuck my chest to pieces.
Was a good line up that day enjoyed everyone of them shutty and wrighty mates of mine from terrovision dont get days like that anymore
Lead singer of Ugly kid Joe stood near the railings after his slot. No on spoke with him. Terror vision were doing an interview in the seats back of the stadium. Drummer waived at me (I didn't know who they were at that point) and Thunder ooooohbso good
I saw ugly kid Joe back in the late 90s and they surprised me they were really good
26 years ago.

The fact that he didn't say "C'mon Steve get it" at the Armaggedon it solo is sad.. RIP Steve
