You are correct. I have made several videos in this style. The reason I have taken the time to create these mash-ups is because no professional video of the band playing these songs in the early days exists (or if it does, the performance quality is bad.) The goal of the mash ups is to create a video with watchable video and listenable audio quality so that you get a sense of what it was like to see them play the song in those days, but with good production value. I am a professional audiovisual technician, and I do this kind of thing for fun.

I was very big into Def Leppard including their "Pyromania" phase. Remember reading the Metal Hammer Magazine (which had hit the market here in germany in early 1984) that there had been this terrible car crash and the drummer lost his arm. I was shocked in a way.....afterwards Leppard disappeared from my metal horizon. Years later they suddenly returned and i am sure that i was among ten thousands of their strong followers that the return with their polished radio rock was .... just shocking! But what i want to say is that "Mirror, Mirror" and the "High'n'Dry" album in whole was and is (now that we have 2023) are iconic to me. Have heard both of them a thousand times - and will never stop. Together with "On through the Night" and "Pyromania" this will always be Leppard for me! Forget the rest! Greetings from germany.

Great British rock band then , one of the best , what a great album High n Dry , the bloke on the album cover used to work for my dad . He took me round to their place in Amsterdam to meet them , they was not there , I was so disappointed. ( They did not no we was coming round ) . Actually, I chose their debut, ON THROUGH THE 🌃 NIGHT as my number 1choice .I don't expect a lot of folks to agree with me.HI and DRY was my number 2nd choice.
In my opinion High n Dry without a doubt is Leppards best album
The first 2 albums were unreal. Things in my opinion were never the same after high.
