Airing it all the way up till it pops is definitely a difference maker. One thing I like to do when I’m too lazy to get the air compressor out is to use a bike pump. 10-15 pumps and it’s done vs like 100 with the built in one
Jamie thanks for helping me out with my IK Foam 12 back awhile back! From what I've learned with IK sprayers is the number one failure is the filter! If you wanted them to last longer I'd suggest everyone to pull theirs out of the tip sprayer and hand wash them and let them dry before placing it back in the unit. I use distilled water and they fail at around three usage intervals. I never had success with mine in the beginning but now that I know both dilutions better and keep my filter clean I get great foam. I just attached the compressor to it, and omg the foam is crazy!
I’m surprised uyou guys didn’t mention how the battery compressor attached to the ik is even better because it shuts off when the tank has enough air. Oh well
Jamie, I have a question for you... I've seen a kit of nozzle from ik with both type (foaming and sprayer) can I interchange from one to another just by changing the nozzle???

To be honest, mine is new. Like hot off the presses new, it had been compressor filled and is spitting like a cobra. In this video it kinda makes it look like total operator error. My just doesn't really work well. I have 3 foam pro 2's that are fine, but my 12 is something that I feel I threw money away. I hate being negative but it's the truth in my case. It's new, it really only has 2 connection. 3 if you consider the valve and it doesn't work. It sprays (spitting) and I can cover a car, but that isn't what I thought I purchased.
@@mcflotty yeah I mean sometimes its just a lemon 🍋 return and get a new one or like in this video it is indeed just a case of user error or not using it to its full potential

I should have ordered it direct but for the sake of ease, I went the Amazon rout lol. I have never tried returning something there, so I don't know how easy it'll be.

Great tip at the end, remember to bleed OFF that pressure when done for the day. It extends life of the seals

Random tip: you can use a bit of rinseless wash mix in that tap water, if you don’t have DI water.
Rinseless will grab the minerals in tap water.

@@604CS just keep them clean and they'll be good for awhile or just drop a new filter frequently for the best results!
