I have an idea. There is a safety valve on a foamer. Set the pump pressure 1psi higher to let it run continuously. This way it only needs to be activated once.
pretty cool! I have a marloex foamer that i added a schrader valve to it and have a ryobi hand inflator and use that to air it up... that is a cleaner set up and hands free, i will have to do it when i get one of those cool ik foamers
I bought the smaller one, with a $45 electric bike pump. Works good. I have to fill a few times. But I spent $100 on ik sprayer, pump, & pink car soap. Used it 10 times already with no major issue.
Just bought this setup instead of going the rinseless wash way. Should save me a lot of time still and be safer. Snow foam with this and BH touchless, rinse with hose, contact wash with 1 bucket and grit guard, rinse again, top up protection, woila. Don't have to spend time getting out the pressure washer, setting it up, filling snow foam bottle, switching between pressure washer rinse attachment and snow foamer and so on. Thanks for showing how to set up.
You could also add a rinsless for lube and then use a Kitchen citrus based cleaner, then you will get a residue free wipe down with excellent cleaning and foaming.
Great review and trick. I think the IK battery pack is neat but it’s also disappointing from a pressure standpoint. The Foam Pro 12 manual says that the ideal volume of liquid is 6L and 4 bars of pressure (58PSI). However the pump only goes to 2.5 bars (36PSI).

I do this for small foam sprayers, too. I have 3-4 of them, 1 for onr, 1 for snow foam and maybe 1 for wheel cleaner.

On the Xiaomi 1S, hold left button and tap right button 5 times, this is a hidden mode that will hold the PSI for you! No more pressing the button

I pump mines to 55 psi and it just keeps on going using a small husky pump
