Last question changing between products did you wash out the foam canon or did you basically use all of the product you had in the foam canon?

    I wouldn't trust the relief valve for daily use. If it gets stuck the sprayer might blow in your face.
    To be safe, just set the air compressor regulator to a few PSI over the pressure you want and go by noise. When the air flow slows to a trickle or stops, you are good to go. Also, use a digital air pressure meter to confirm you are doing it correctly the first time.

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  2 года назад +3

      I would not trust any valve that gets used daily. I keep mine at 45 PSI for this product and just wait till it feels like nothing is happening basically. LOL

      I have seen some use that gray tip that comes with it and cut up some scotch brite pads and stuff them in there to get some foam. Have not seen anybody able to get the full foam a foam pro can get yet. I couldn’t tell you if it works fully, but the tips will fit and I would assume will foam at some level.

      Gtechniq W4 Citrus Foam and 34:1 as suggested by the instructions. So at 1500ml of water it would be 44 ml and I put in 50 ml to make it easier. I think the best thing is to run the dry metering tip and adjust the amount of soap to get the coverage you like.

  • @Outback_Recluse

    Hi, bear with me as I explain my circumstance as a preamble to a question about this sprayer. I have a pressure washer but live in an Australian outback town where the town water supply is treated bore water. It's safe to drink but doesn't taste great so 96%of the townspeople use rainwater tanks for drinking water. This bore water is terrible for seals & hoses, I've already replaced my pressure washer hose once and the pressure washer gun once. Now I'm facing having to do it again as the hose blows out of the gun under pressure. I don't have a pressure washer supplier locally so replacement items have to be purchased by mail order with shipping costs added. If I were to purchase this sprayer for applying snow foam etc, how viable would it be to also attache an air compressor hose during use? Yes I realise that this would mean that the blow off valve would virtually be continually in use, my compressor runs off the vehicle battery but I do have a long air hose for the purposes of reaching a towed caravan or trailer. In other words, I would have the length to comfortably go around the car but, in your estimation is it intended for this purpose or just a cycle of pressuring up, spraying, pressuring up again, spraying again and so on as you have done in this video? I realise that it is just a schrader valve but my compressor hose clamps/locks on to these valves.

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  3 месяца назад +1

      You could do that if you can set the pressure to stop once it reaches a certain point that would help you can set just before the relief valve opens so it will shut off when full. I did something similar with a small battery powered compressor in this video. ruclips.net/video/u6Ci3Qs5_48/видео.htmlsi=l20PsIVZdZzIHXVR

    • @CarsWithKeav

      That would for sure work. If you fill with more than half liquid in the bottle you will be spending a lot of time filling it. Especially if you fill all the way to max you could pump faster than using the air tank until you get 3/4.

    Ya no chance I would use this for whole car. Rather use the garden hose foam canon.

      Agreed, but it would be great for wheels and tires. More than enough air to do all of them and they do have this without the valve that costs $35. I hate using my foam cannon for wheels and have to switch my gun and cannon 4 times to rinse. Now I can use this and just rinse.

      Meaning you wouldn't buy it? Just wondering. If I didn't need it for a review I probably would still buy, but it would be lower on the list of priorities to buy.

    What colour was the dry and what colour you think best

      Green is dry. I prefer dry as I don’t have to change out and I just change my dilutions to get the consistency I want.

      Totally Agree! Their Foam Pro 12 Plus does well for the whole car as it holds 2 gallons and way more air.

    if you have a washer, it is better not to buy PA foamers for the washer, where is the logic ??

    • @CarsWithKeav
      @CarsWithKeav  Год назад +1

      It’s a product review. Many requested who can’t have a washer for me to review. Many do use this for their wheel foam because it’s more accurate to keep foam off the paint and not to have to connect and disconnect a foam cannon 4 times for each wheel.

    Big waste of money to me, get a foam cannon and get urself a $6 chemical sprayer from Walmart

      I like to foam my wheels so if I use a foam cannon I got to attach and detach it 4 times to foam and rinse each wheel. This way I have all the foam I need in the bottle. For most people the $30 version is much better foams the same and is a smaller bottle with a pump handle. For most people it is a waste, but for me who washes up to 3 times a week anything to make it more enjoyable I like. I agree foam cannon the car this is horrible to foam a car. LOL Appreciate the feedback and thanks for watching.

      @@CarsWithKeav exactly. At the end of the day I can't help but to see them as different tools.
      A foam cannon is for a single large use with primarily one chemical and one shot.
      The IK foamer is something that I can throw in my mix of Megs Ultimate wheel cleaner/turtle wax wheel and tire cleaner (I do this to stretch em both out a bit but primarily to give the TW some iron removal and color indication), hit all my wheels and tires, then swap out the tip at the end of the wash and throw in my APC mix to use on the engine bay.
      A lot of people don't seem to realize that the IK foamer is usually only going to be half filled with product, so it's easy to get through the product and use it for multiple jobs with the added benefit of a bit more control.
