All of these cops were caught because most of them now wear cameras, otherwise they would’ve just lied and got away with everything. Just imagine how many innocent people are in jail because of cops like these.

These videos really gets my blood pressure boiling, as I use to be a cop, and the reason that I quit was because so many of my colleagues were physically & pshychologically abusive, pathological liars, and many of them criminals. That was over 48 years ago, and these incidents are traumatizing and upsetting, as they were in the day. I fully understand why few people trust cops.....they ruin it for the good one's.

There actually aren't that many. Good cops doing their jobs right just isn't news. It's kind of like how Florida Man became a thing. Florida has a law that makes all government proceedings including court proceedings public record. Because unlike other states, literally anyone can go combing through all the craziest crimes that happen there, news agencies all over the country can just pull some crazy crime stories from Florida to fill the time on slow news days, making Florida seem absolutely insane.

Sadly, there are probably precincts where they do let them get away with DUI and other things. This so often happens when a chief of police is ( allegedly ) running an illegal private security business. These illegal businesses use our tax payer equipment, desks, lights, telephones, cop man power and in many cases double bill the city and bill the paying customer that needs the private security services. The cop then pays the button nose chief of police a bit something something.. This is called RACKETEERING. 3 OF the criteria for RACKETEERING is hierarchy, intimidation, and fraud. There is no time off for bad cops. To the public it looks like they are on paid vacation, but mostly the cops work this illegal private security business. The only one fooled here is YOU!!!!!! The Chief of police needs a bad cop to work an illegal private security business. It's a kind of brotherhood. " Hay bro we have something on each other", a mutual agreement. Also, most cops drink vodka to sleep at night. An alcoholic cop may have pulled you over and you would never know. Or could you? The big giveaway is the menacing, belligerent, confrontational, aggressive dangerous grainy VODKA VOICE. When you get pulled over , make as little contact with an alcoholic cop. Like any alcoholic, they are dangerous with a license to carry a gun and kill. They will testilie against you and get away with it. You are dealing with a gang with a badge.. Sometimes , with corrupt judges there are many conflicts of interest, but you will never know. Sink your teeth into this and pass it on....And please, learn some law because obviously, the cops follow protocol and not the Constitution.. Get Constitutional Law for dummies or any book. Cops don't have continuing education. Because of the rampant alcoholism, they should be breathalyzed after every incident and before they can start our tax payer police cars.. Many of these guys are void of empathy and murder people without a second thought. We the People need to enforce the Constitutional Law.

Isn't it sad that people who side with cops blindly are as big of a problem to society as the life ruining charges this cops put on average citizens?

I thought the same thing too, watching his slow turn, as if to say "ok, you feel better now?"
To be honest though, I think more logically what had happened was, because of the distance the barbs had to travel to reach him they didnt have enough force to penetrate his baggy shirt. Cause if you watch the second time the officer engages the current, the guy not only had ahold of a barb trying to remove it from the shir, but the way he rotated cause the slack of the cable to wrap around his bare arm. Just a thought but I'm not 100% sure.

It worked in the 70s. Even if you weren't a cop. My dad was a cop and my uncle (dad's brother) crashed into a parked car. He walked after dad talked to the police. That's how it worked in the big city I'm from. I used dad many times. Anytime I got pulled over, I also walked. Never got a ticket in that city. I'd let the cop talk without interrupting him. When he was done, I'd say "my dad's a cop if that will help." It ALWAYS helped.

I had an encounter with a drunk cop once. I was going to the bank at like 3 AM after getting off my shift as a pizza delivery driver to deposit my tips at the ATM. There's a police station across the street from my bank, and as I'm leaving the bank a cop car comes out of the police station, puts on their lights and pulls me over. Lady cop around late 40s to early 50s gets out and kinda stumbles up to my window. When she gets there, I can smell whiskey on her breath. She spent like 10 minutes hitting on me and trying to get my phone number before admitting she had no reason to pull me over and letting me go. Never even asked for my license and registration.
Called the department the next day to report her, turns out she was already under investigation for a similar incident. Internal Affairs apparently was already in the process of firing her, they were just combing through her history to see if they needed to file any major criminal charges at the same time. They thanked me for giving them a specific time and date to pull dash cam footage from.

Also, because it enrages me towards these undeserved authority figures that somehow have achieved authority over average citizens. Good stuff though.

** Forgot to mention we worked at a casino together and were all in uniform.
I got pulled over after I dropped my black friend off at his house that just so happened to be in the 'hood'. They drove past me as my friend got out of the car and immediately busted a u-turn as I started to pull away. They didn't even give a reason for a stop, just took advantage of my naivety as a young 21 year old kid. It took me years to realize I had been profiled as buying drugs off my friend cuz he was black gettting out of my car and I'm a white kid in the ghetto. It's a f up place in America.
