You look at this Pontiac, inside and out, then look at a Ferrari 250 GTO, again inside and out, and you just know that John DeLorean had us all hoodwinked
Either the steering wheel was removed at some point and was not reinstalled with the wheels being straight, or the front end alignment is way out of adjustment?
Did it ever occur to you that due to camera perspective it may have "looked" like he was riding the clutch but in fact his foot was hovering above it just in case he needed to make a quick move while being in traffic? No? Didn't think so.
Bro I had a 65 GTO cherry red pearl white interior 455 Oldsmobile rocket motor punched out 60 over shattered cam 512 lift duration I'm not sure but you don't want to know 720 horses 10.8 seconds in the quarter I put it one morning to a muffler shop with open headers at idle it set off all the alarms in the city car alarms what else do I have to say
A 1965 Pontiac LeMans GTO does not exist. Where did you get your information? The LeMans, Tempest, and GTO were separate models sharing the same body and wheelbase.
Actually you're mistaken. The 64' and 65' GTO were an option on the LeMans GTO didn't get it's own VIN (242) until 66' so yes the 64' and 65' are LeMans with a GTO option.
Yeah, Johncifra needs to do he homework . That's OK, John. If you're into old goats, may I suggest you purchase the "Bible" of every GTO oficianado called "The Big 'Little GTO' Book". Every GTO owner should own a copy. It may be out of print now, though. The one I had was from the early '80's. E-Bay may have a copy.@@2002jaiden
Please remove the title "Pontiac Lemans GTO" its either a Lemans or a GTO,not both.If it's a Lemans someone put GTO badges on then ok keep it but if it's a GTO then drop the Lemans. The GTO was it's own car with many levels of trim and options of it's own.yes they shared the same body but 2 different cars.
Incorrect, it is a "Lemans GTO" 64 and 65 were Lemans with a GTO option. The GTO didn't get its own VIN "242" until 66-72. The GTO became an option on the Lemans again in 73, and in 74 it was an option on the Ventura.
I love that wood, deep dish sports steering wheel on this amazing car. Factory air, too!
Those old Goat's are muscle car icons
Nice car friend
Thanks for the ride

Nice ride.
But straighten the steering wheel!
why is the steering wheel turned so far from center to the right?
Either the steering wheel was removed at some point and was not reinstalled with the wheels being straight, or the front end alignment is way out of adjustment?
Has a highway differential, strange for a GTO, looks good in red!
that's what I thought too
nice vid respect out to you but noticed you were riding the clutch for quite some time. Is that all right because it is a heavy-duty one?
He shouldn't of been riding the clutch. I have a 65 like that, factory AC , 4 speed , red with black interior
Did it ever occur to you that due to camera perspective it may have "looked" like he was riding the clutch but in fact his foot was hovering above it just in case he needed to make a quick move while being in traffic? No? Didn't think so.
Yeah, that occurred to me. Also occurred to me that he isn't used to that clutch adjustment. And yes he shouldn't be riding the clutch like that
Who the hell is driving that thing grandma😂
Also using the clutch and gear to stop the car rather than the brakes. Hard on the drivetrain.
It’s okay.
nice car, next time drive it like you stole it.

It would be nice to actually see the car and not just the dashboard
Yeah, you need to do another one with a good walk-around where you talk about the car and show us the body and interior. We want to SEE this car!
Yeah ... and actually driving it instead of just putting around town.

A/C and 3.08s, or 3.23s. Not a tiger, but looks clean, from what little is shown. But will still sell anyway.
You forgot to synchronize the gears when downshifting😢
Doesn't need to.
DON'T sit at the light with your foot on the clutch in gear!! Steering box/ wheel needs centered
Is it me or is Dude riding the heII out of that clutch... ?
Yup
that thing has highway gears in it. takes off terrible. nice car tho
Used 1/3 of the available carburetion. Thanks for wasting my time...
But probably gets 16 mpg!
THE DRIVER RIDES THE CLUTCH.. NOT GOOD.. GET YOUR FOOT OFF THE CLUTCH PEDAL.. CLUELESS
