Thanks very much. The most crucial info (for me at least) is missing thou: Which ones of them packs features leafs that are roughly shaped planes instead of alpha mapped textures? Increasing the transparency bounces to get clean channels from alpha textures ain't feasable, especially with vast greenery in place. At least, that's my experience...
Does the Meshes which will generate by the add on "Tree And Grass Library Botaniq " will have a lot of polygons? Is okay to use for a large environment scene?
Hey Miguel - I've done quite a bit of searching on this, and never found anything worth using that's actually free. Probably the best bet is Real Trees and/or True Grass, or the Lite pack of Botaniq...
@@AndyRedwood Thank you so much Red Wood Films! There are some addons like MTree for trees but its really tough to texture them and give them the realistic leaf textures and the bark texture.
@@jacery Actually yes! I did try Mtree and it does come with textures and theyre really good! :D It even comes with textures for the leaves! Mtree is probably the best Tree addon!

try to use blender to earn money so u can buy good assets..or use it as practice/personal use(not commercial) so u can have the free versions but limited or not good..everythng needs money to survive so we should understand especially todays situation in the market ,pandemic, war, hyper inflation.
Why blender not include tessellation and Parallax occlusion option in realtime (i mean distance of less details) eg. I create 500×500 realworld scale scene and i add grass particle system to separate plene but it's really slow viewport shading tab.😐😐😐and sorry my english
Is it not working on the 2.92 version ... ? :/ I just bought it, installed if from preferences and I can't see it. I also installed it manually and it's not there :/
This is good for visualizations but obviously not for game development. I always find myself having to model something for games as the meshes are too high poly for games.
I can't understand half of what you're saying, because you're reading too fast in a foreign language, often with the wrong syllables emphasized. I'm guessing french. Slow down.
If you are having a hard time keeping up, maybe you should study Blender a little more so what he's saying is easy to follow. Nothing he said was hard to hear or understand, and I only speak english. Maybe show some more respect for someone providing free useful information instead of being rude about it. There's a handy playback speed feature on RUclips you can use to slow down so you can follow easier.

hey just to let you know Graswald link is actually True grass link, so you have duplicate link in there. Thank you for the video great stuff
This is amazing. It used to take me just under an hour to make a blade of grass.
great work but you should also talk about the price
Thank you very much for sharing this with us. This add-on is ver useful.
You made our job very easy.
Botaniq looks like the best value.
What about Terrascape?
Love these addon videos buddy, so helpful.
You forgot "Grass Essentials" from Blender Guru and "True Terrain 4x" (it has a vegetation pack) and finally "The Grove"
The Graswald “link” points to True Grass.
Helpful video again. 👌🏿
Glad it was helpful!
Thank you so very much for sharing this it is really helpful.
It's really help for VFX Student like me
Thanks a lot dude ! Great content !

Really useful add-ons.

Try mtree. Its free and uses modelled twigs.

Still waiting foe the moment wher someone makes something very close to Botaniq but free
Great video, do you know if its possible to export the scenes or geometry once its been scattered? Lets say from Blender to Maya.
Does True Grass work with weight paint?
Great video! But are there any free add-ons like these?

Blender may be free, but these add ons will soak your pocketbook.
Why not? If you use them for work or semi-pro purposes, then its cheap. Cant even compare to 4k USD Lumion or C4D.

True Grass 2.0 vs Real Grass, which one is better? same price
Man you ara amazing! You have any muddy terrain nodes to use? I have looked but the ones that i found are pre 2.8

free for commercial use?
The Grove?

There are a couple user built POM shaders out there. I believe Blender Devs are working on implementing a default POM shader soon
Wait can jungle scapes be used in unity?
What a about Grass essentials addon ?
Can this be used in engines such as unity?

well.. unreal engine nanite already solved that problem

no. All of them are paid.
