  • The a1 and a1 mini are great printers but I have come across a few people that were complaning of poor quality prints or artefacts in the items they were printing and it appears to relate back to a loose nozzle on the extruder - The issue isnt the nozzle itself but instead the mount it attaches to once the 3 screws are tightened back up the problem is usually resolved

I had to do this too while I was deep cleaning the extrusion gears because they were not gripping filament tightly enough and gave me errors. I removed the gears and cleaned with wire brass brush and compressed air. The bambu A1 and A1 Mini wiki maintenance and troubleshooting diagnosing pages are excellent and with great photos. It's not as intimidating as it seemed after doing these steps myself. I check the tightness of those heater element screws from time to time (there's 7 screws altogether, including the 4 on back side of the heater stone).
