That looked almost exactly like Alex Highway, then to Shreveport Highway. I used to live just off Alexandria Highway from 1995-1998. But I remember F Troop Highway Patrol building being somewhere in the island between the Northbound and Southbound lanes.
This is hwy 394 and the Lake Charles highway.

Say hello to Jorge Rodriguez or Richard Beale sometime if you see them. Last I knew they had settled someplace East of DeRidder after retirement. If you want a laugh ask Jorge why his callsign was "batwing". Beale was "Regulator". I was "Braveheart" which could just as easily be pronounced as "Brainfart" over the radio. Though Regulator always called me OX.

I will eventually be building a deuce like this might make it a 4x4 idk yet either gonna put a 5.9 cummins a dt360 or dt466 or some sort of bigger isuzu diesel with a 6 or 7 speed manual transmission and bring the gearing down to 4:44s and slightly bigger tires that aren't split rim and a bunch of other stuff

@Rich Story 395 singles, pyrometer and the fuel turned up.
@Rich Story mine does 61 with the 9.00-20 tires according to the GPS.
