I have a smarty s03 on my second gen vp44. Really woke it up. Best thing is plug and play. No pump tap. Can easily set truck to stock. Can correct the speedometer if different tire size.

I love my trail fx bumper on my 95 cummins 2wd. I drive at night alot wiped put a deer the first month I had it on. Just washed my truck and go again.

My 05 six oh still going strong without being “bulletproofed” bought it with 36,000 and instantly deleted it and did some mild tuning and fuel upgrades…haven’t been stranded yet. You should definitely get one!
If that is bedliner or rubberized undercoating then good luck , my Dodge dually had it on the rockers and it would only come off with a BIG scraper followed by hours of sanding to remove the marks from the scraper ... LOL .. I know it's good for stopping stone chips but it's a bitch to remove it ..
'04 6.0 CCLB SRW 4x4 F350; straight pipe, blue spring, HD HPOP, 343k on the Odometer- Runs like a top. Sounds like a jet.
Pull a Bobcat E35 on a flatbed, 12k, and a 14' 16k dump weekly basis. No ifs ands or buts.
Anyone that says the 6-0 is a problem just doesn't know what they're doing, or doesn't know how to fix things before they break.

Scangauge 2 to watch your numbers and change anything that's out of spec before it gives you problems.

It's a nice bumper just got mine on! Definitely easier when you have a buddy to help align it. Also mine didn't slide right in the mount flanges needed to be pulled in, i used a ratchet strap to keep it together then slid it in place.
Nice. Do you have fender flares? I read a review of someone saying they get in the way.
@@eternalbeing3339 no nine just came bent out so it wouldn't slide on the frame, I also plan on welding a small plate and drill holes in at the right adjustment so the bumper never moves(the holes are bigger to let you adjust it where you want). It doesn't move but you know over time it could. Solid bumper people always compliment it

I run non-CDL hotshot and added a heavy cow pusher on my 99 F350. It weighs about 100 - 120 more than the stock, but like you said it will save the truck from deer. And there's plenty of them here in Georgia! Mine has an extra row of bars plus another one over the top and includes a Reese hitch so I can put my winch in the front, back or on my trailer.
I ordered a trail fx for my 2014 and was thoroughly disappointed. Cant fit 1 bolt because of intercooler, and the overall shape was just bad. Way too fat in the front. Good customer service though, would recommend, just not for a fourth GEN
3rd and 4th gens are tricky to get those bolts in
Yea used an edge comp box on my VP44 24v truck, mild enough to keep it happy, and powerful enough to feel a big difference. It has 3 easy setting 1,2&3, plug and play and go play around!!! Cost was just under $500

Hey I saw on one of your videos that you towed pretty heavy with a #0 fuel plate, I saw it was with your 6spd, have you towed with a #0 fuel plate with an automatic? Just curious….I’ve got a 94, and was going to put in a #6 plate cause that was the highest recommendation for the auto. But you do real life stuff, just seeing if you have and if EGT’s were high
You should repaint that bottom stripe on the rocker black to match the front bumper.

Maybe try a rubber eraser wheel for your drill. We use them at work to remove logos that are sun damaged etc to either sell the machine or re letter it. Doesn't hurt the paint underneath
I have a ranch hand legend on my 96, great bumper looks good but definitely going with red goat fab next time more options for mounting winch/lights and it's a little more compact for trails up here in the pnw plus they are a Washington local company.
Decal remover wheel on Amazon may help.

I watch a transmission channel and they use Scotch Brite pads to clean up their parts they wanna save. (Precision Transmission you'd like it)
I have to give it my seal of approval after trying it. If you wanna remove something without hurting metal its very gentle and affordable.
They always say on that channel when they can save a part inside a transmission during a teardown... "Scotch Brite's your friend there"

Hey man I like watching your videos just wanted to let you know but one thing I would recommend is trimming your inner fenders or putting some brace work on the front of them I’ve had almost everyone of my second GEN with custom bumpers and the Wind will catch them and put them into your front tires and grind them down!
I'm looking on what others have done to remedy this. I don't see any good way to fix the liners to the truck now

Its not winch ready but you could cut a hole out and weld a receiver tube on it. That is what I am going to do.
