- When companies treat you good as a customer, you return the favor when they end up being the customer! So when Bend Commercial Tire needed a hand after one of their trucks lost a serpentine belt, I jumped in the rollback and headed to to get it taken care of for them. These guys are where I get the tires for my big trucks, and I highly recommend them to anyone in the area who needs commercial tire service!

It is interesting that you are having this conversation really with yourself, explaining in detail, to thwart the complainers, how and why you are doing what you are doing. But I am sure there will remain those 'experts' who will whine about this or that. Me? I enjoy the entertainment and always learn along the way.
I once rode in a rollback when my truck was being towed, therefore, I am the worlds leading expert in all things towing and recovery. Casey demonstrates everything you don't want to do here, including having equipment available to tie the vehicle down to the bed. In fact, had he done this properly, he would have borrowed some crochet yarn from his wife, tied it between his duals, ran it up the side and around his headache rack, back to the other truck, and attached it to the windshield wiper arm with a granny knot. Then he should have tilted the bed until it almost touched the ground. Then he should have pulled his truck forward. This would have pulled the disabled truck forward faster than the rollback because the yarn would be wrapping around the wheels. Once obtaining enough speed, the disabled vehicle would have loaded intself onto the bed, stopping itself by hitting the headache rack with such force that it shears the top of the rack off and entangles the remainder in the undercarriage of the towed vehicle. This eliminates the need to tie it down and all of the associated drama. But no, Casey has to do it in such a lame way, even a blind man who has heard a rollback drive by would know it is wrong. I hate Casey LaDelle.
@@davidgates1122 Brilliantly written 👌😎☕
Some still don't understand the satire. Could it be, that they see not the sat, for the ire in their own eyes 💨👀☕
@@ANTHONY-h6w if you kept up you would know what David was on about. 🤦🏼♂️
@@invisibilianone6288 Thanks. I was hoping to get a ♥from Casey himself on this one. But I'm sure he has better things to do than read a reply to such a well put comment.
@@davidgates1122 I think Casey is busier than a one leg cat in a litter box😁☕
Hey Casey, I have great neighbors. When they see me struggling, they all pitch in and want nothing in return. 3 different neighbors cut my grass last year when I went through cancer treatment and surgeries. I did not ask them to do it, and one of them said he didn't know why, but something just told him to cut my grass for the entire summer. This year I am able to mow, and when the head mechanic of the FedEx repair shop across the street from me saw me changing the oil in my riding lawn mower, he came and helped me, and installed new cutting blades for me. He also fixed the transmission freewheel rod that was bent and barely operable. I offered to pay but he said the owner of the shop wouldn't accept payment. I have always kept an eye on the new FedEx shop when they first started. I contacted the police when I saw someone messing with their property and provided valuable video. We reap what we sow.
Prayers you're doing well with your recovery. GOD bless
I spent 24 years as inside security for a major corporation. I always took extra care of cleaning crews and maintenance. In return, they went the extra mile for me.
My dad said, always be kind toJanitors and secretaries. They will know what is going on before anyone else
Tire guys are one of most unappreciated services...like TOW guys!!
Tire Guys And tow Guys. In 28+ years with a sheriff's Dept as a Deputy then Sergeant I always took care of our partners in roadside assistance. It paid off many times and the work relationships were always good.
It's a great look on bend tire that you jump in their truck and it's clean and organized, like you said, they're usually full of garbage and a big mess, that looks so unprofessional.
Treat the customer as you wanted to be treated. It pays off in the long run 😊
It's wonderful to "be there" for those who have "been there" for you during your time of need!
Thank you!
Casey, you are still real without performing for us, and a really kind person. Appreciate you sharing and honest daily humor.
Everything I learned about tow-trucking I learned from you.
I’m sorry. Really recommend going to Midwest towing RUclips! Ron does this and has for decades.
Family run a successful business.
There's another great tow channel here on ewetoob called "Everything autos" . They are a husband/wife team out of Gatlinburg Tennessee.
@@paulprigge1209 I'm going to assume I misunderstood that comment, because the way it reads is a really jerk thing to say.
Casey I enjoy your your “Tire side chats”
Very clean for a tire truck!
They probably take pride in their truck being presentable to the customers, plus I think they're mainly taking highway calls
@Storm-Fox agreed. Our local tire hero has a beautiful looking fleet, it's definitely a pride in the work thing
The company I work for we weren’t allowed to take the service trucks home but my Saturday route took me mins from the house and close to an hour from the shop. Needless to say I was aloud to take the truck home but I also took pride in my work and washed my truck at home almost every Sunday not getting paid for it.
Which kinda paid off in the end in the 10yrs I’ve been there I’ve had 4 brand new service trucks
that's the way to do it, someone takes care of you and you take care of them
Best way to run a business. Treat them like you want them to treat you
I love how that truck is set up! It’s almost like the owner designed it to be towed when it breaks down.
Another lesson on how and why he does things to protect the customers vehicle. Good job Casey.
If only more people had your values and work ethics, the world would be a better place.
You make work not seem like work. Great tube❤
He has good work ethic but seriously if you look at the farming channels such as farming fixing fabricating. Ivers out of southern Illinois. Midwest towing. All are excellent .
Yes this disabled country bum has time on my hands. Lol😊
I am I said thank you sir. Yes I did mention some other channels very good. Not taking anything away from you.
Thank you Casey. Your roll back truck is one sweet machine. It can move the worst wrecks . Credit where credit is due.❤😊😊😊.
Good morning Casey.
Breakfast with Casey! 😊 A new video to go with with biscuits & gravy!🎉Just appreciate you recording and editing your videos for our entertainment 😊 Your narration of what you are doing and why is the Best! 👍😎 Enjoy the Labor Day weekend with your family!❤❤️🇺🇸
Any treatment you provide is always ‘special’ 😎
Ain’t NOTHING GOOD on this truck……but that is why you do NOT damage stuff! Good job describing things to your RUclips listeners and even the haters!
Its nice seeing the roolback on the job more often
I like the way you explain every step you take in all your tows! From setting up to tying down! Love it!!!
You're not a hack, you're a class act. 👍
Also being a class act solves a lot of potential problems farther on.
Great service requires great service in return! It only helps you, regardless of which "you" it happens to be! Great attitude Casey!!
I agree “ hate “ is not nice I just go with “loathe and detest “ combined they confuse people..
Good morning everyone !
Good morning Casey that is very true people taking care of people is good business
Great work ethic, very professional.
Yep. You'll never be sorry if you apply good business sense... which you always do! 👍
Excellent job like always Casey. Great work and service to your's and the surrounding communities. Also great information and entertainment for us RUclips junkies
Always enjoy a good video especially when tired
Casey, as I find that safety is consistently your highest priority I was a little surprised that you did not back your rig up to get completely off of the highway before securing your load. I know that traffic was light on your side of the road, but backing up a bit to get you, your truck, and your load completely off of the roadway seems to me to be much safer than repeatedly having to traverse up and back on the paved highway surface while you secured the tire truck. Please stay safe out there.
That “road” was just a driveway to the fairgrounds. Pretty much zero traffic
Great job as always!
Another safe rescue, good job!
No problem with Matt's channel. Just started enjoying yours more now. Thanks.
Great job. Thank you 😊
Very nice weather there in the Bend area, that is the most beautiful place to live and work in the USA, you are a blessed man Casey to have carved out success in that area. And with the u tube I get to see interesting rigging, good stories and all that wide open country with that Oregon blue sky. Thank you Casey for taking your time to record this for us !
Well talking to yourself sure helps you from going NUTS..😂😂😂😂 glad we’re listening.. so your not alone
Yes, that is good you give them good service!
Algorithm comment!
I've been watching for a couple of years now (61f), started watching when you were doing the snow recoveries, and now I'm hooked! 😂
And is that via J hooks or other type hooks? 😉
Great video. These kind of videos should be required for vehicle design engineers. Including videos on towing vehicles with no real tow points. Great video Casey. 😊😊😊😊😊
New vid before work hell yeah!
Good one smooth 👍
Jobs done right always take a few minutes longer. Always soak in the knowledge you share Casey, never know when someone could use a hand
Good Morning CASEY From New Zealand have a great weekend
So wise , Thank you . Another fine example problem solving
❤ you make everything look so easy to do I love it😮
Nice job well-informed video
Good call!! You NEED to take care of the tire guy!! LOL!!
Coming soon…we are going to get this truck because the mirrors are out of adjustment 😂
I know it takes a couple of extra minutes, but where are your cones young man? We seen the front end peeking over the outer lane line... You need to be safe for that beautiful family of yours! ❤😊

Thirsty Thursday recovery company,
Throw one back on every recovery.
Don't worry Casey....
I got this one for ya.
Hahaha hahaha 🤣🤣
Thanks for the information on the J hooks.
Casey we found out on those trucks the easiest way to hook those things up is to the leaf spring in the back then bring your tensioner down and tighten it up dot in our area gives us permission to do that because those trucks are too hard to tie down when they break down
Would you say it's... D.O.T. approved.
Fun fact, you don’t need a dot guys permission to do anything. Things are either legal or not legal and are clearly spelled out in the book. And dot officers opinion is irrelevant
@@CaseyLaDelle "And dot officers opinion is irrelevant" As it should be also with border crossing agents.
Nice job Casey appreciate you taking extra care of your tire guys it's good for business and makes us better people, thanks for sharing 😎👍
I haven't had this much fun hate'n somebody in a long time!
If you park on the vault, what’s the worse that can happen?😅😂🤣
Thanks for another adventure in recovery videos! 🙏❤️😎🤙🚗💨
Nice easy tow. When I helped drive my brothers wrecker most of ours were like this. Maybe not as cool to watch as off road difficult ones. For an operator these were our main business. Worked for a lot of trans shops. Night time accidents were the worst...particularly if someone was hurt.
Thanks for the videos Casey, I am a subscriber & I really enjoy your videos. I like how you help people out you have a good heart. Keep up the good work.
Thanks for the video on problem solving re hook-ups 👍👍
Thank you for another excellent video.
I watch your video's along side Ron Pratts video's and Steve's video's from FSC Trucking.
All of which give different prospectives and methods of tying and securing stuff down.
Always good to have more than one source for handling load securing because you can see more than one solution, which is a good way of learning more than one way of doing it.
Clean working environment makes for much better outlook on life and shows pride of your working and professional life
I’ve door dashed them a lot when dashing in Redmond.
I can see why most manufacturers are starting to recommend wheel straps for anything less than a mid duty. Those axels are a nightmare.
Thanks for doing the fire trucks!
good job!
Absolutely always have a good relationship with the tyre technicians, they rule the highways and byways, 😊😊😊.
Awesome video!
I have 2014 RAM and have been under looking at the axle housings for hold down points, yeah practically non existent. Thanks Casey for the information.
Yeah my 2016 Ram is borderline impossible to tie down the front axle. I usually just get frustrated and hook the sway bar, but wouldn’t do that on a customers vehicle
If you truly have no good tiedown points, would you have to spin around and use the wheellift?
Just asking are there tie down points in the frame like there used to be, and if so what do you think of them?
@@edsmith5448 I never tie to the frame slots on a truck that heavy. The bounce in it’s suspension will tear them
Thanks for the video
Thanks for the tips, had to pull some youngsters out last night I looked it over and said self how would Casey do this one, Ha Bingo kids saved again 😂😂😂
You can have only one... Either the truck is clean or ties down easily... choose?😂
Greetings from central Montana
That's cool.. thanks for the video
Great video thank you!
When you are done, you're done😂
Nice
Anyone else find it ironic that the tire truck blew a tire
What a pain in the ass chain job those axles made!
Serpentine belt broke
Enjoyed
YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe you could find a mast and flag that they use on the dirt trails for visibility with a magnet on the bottom so you can place it on the bed if your rollback. This way you can tell how far up you can pull? Just a thought?
It's funny how the truck brand that gets towed the most makes it the hardest to tow their trucks.....lol
I did mobile tire service for 8 years. We also washed vacuumed and wiped down our trucks every Saturday morning. But believe me your dusty pants are nothing compared to the amount of dirt, brake dust, grease and Murphy’s oil soap that soils that interior all week long between washes. But that was very kind of you.
I dun been schooled on J hooks. Why I “Hate Casey LaDelle”! Keep up the great work and commentary.
Casey I always have to laugh how you end your videos. Altro, nah we don’t need those here! Lmao
Nice job
Always REMEMBER Don't Bit the Hand That Feeds You .. Words to live By Forever .. Great little Tow Job and video Mr I hate Casey LaDelle LOL
My junior high math teacher that was all of five foot nothing would get up in your face and shake her finger at you "SAY,SAY,SAY we don't hate we diss like" she said hate was a very strong word
Enjoyed the video. Here is a comment for the algorithm ✍️
That’s a nice truck
As a person who has never operated a tow truck before I consider myself an expert. But I’m don’t understand why using the winch to pull the vehicle while having the rear tie downs attached is a “hack”. Thank you in advance.
Because you have no control over the tension
I was kinda wondering the same, I see so many youtube tow guys that do it (chain the rear and winch it tight) as well as local tow guys. I've done it a couple times on my flat deck trailer to get off the road faster then worry about properly securing when in a safer location.
definitely need a yannkum receiver on the rollback :)
Hate is a powerful word that’s why “I hate Casey LaDelle”
On any 3/4 ton or bigger, my go to on the rears is chain under axle, then looped around the leaf pack infront of the axle. Keeps the chains between the u bolts under the axle, pulls down and back on the pack. That's how I do it on our tb40's and my car trailer
I imagine the management team at the tire company will incorporate your suggested upgrades on all their fleet at the next routine service appointment.
Good to help your neighbors out. 👍👍
May I suggest ratchet tire slings. No need for j hooks on hard too tie down vehicles .
